Thorne scored 80 in 189 so just over 1 in 2 ratio. Still a bloody legend though and my fave player.
Sheron was 39 in 71 so better that 1 in 2. His 2 goals in the last derby at the vic versus the vile will live with me forever.

Disgraceful sending off decision How can you red card that challenge, its a 50 50 clash of heads. As usual slow motion doesn't give the playing speed perspective

I'm glad we didn't get to experience the shit show that would have happened had we stayed Absolutely no budget and that Charlatan Moxey in charge, the conversion would have been soul destroying We would probably have got a shiny new Butler Street stand similar to the West Stand we have now but the rest would have been seats bolted onto the existing terracing which would have been super shit especially on the Boothen Possibly a new roof there if we were lucky 3 of the stands needed demolishing instead only one would have Yep, we would have been lumbered with something similar to Oakwell. Is that a nad ground then since redevelopment. I thought it was decent on 3 sides.

One stand at a time, when finances dictated. They are still at their spiritual home, still in their community, still following in their grandfather's and father's footsteps, having a prematch pint in the same pubs from yesteryear and we, we have lost all of that, our history, the heritage, the community, all gone, and that makes me sad inside.

I'd like them both to lose ! In fairness it would make a cracking final. Just watched some of the pre-match waffle, Pougatch is dreadful isn't he. Pougatch is fucking wank full stop regardless of the sport hes presenting . Whenever hes on i switch the volume off cos his voice grates me.

It should have been built by the Brit, akin to Bolton or MK. That way the cars parks are already there and access to the A50 is better. Maybe resurrect the train line/tram idea as well. Putting it in Hanley where theres already the Viccy hall and regent is pointless. It needs to go elsewhere to work. It was to be a focal point for the city centre rejuvenation though….Not something built in the middle of nowhere That was the whole point of it It went well then. 🫣

39 years and still hoping the Fins 🐬🐬🐬 give it a go.
Must be last chance for Tua if he takes any more blows to the head as well.
Need someone to maximise the potential of Hill and Waddle.
I guess we'll start well and fade badly as always.

Putting it in Hanley where theres already the Viccy hall and regent is pointless. It needs to go elsewhere to work. Was a consideration of a small arena by the Brit for potential basketball and even Ice Hockey teams which would have been interesting. I used to go and watch the Telford Tigers the odd time, our own team would have been good. Moxey was a huge basketball fan and played himself, not my game at all but were newish leagues for both Would have been good to introduce new sports to the area. I quite like ice hockey. Maybe we should have had a sports village instead of distribution centres. I still miss the speedway, and although its dying a slow death in this country a new circuit could have been used for stock cars and banger racing as well.

Putting it in Hanley where theres already the Viccy hall and regent is pointless. It needs to go elsewhere to work. I disagree about putting it by the ground. People coming to a football game are different to those going to a gig or concert. We saw the chaos when England women played at the ground last year - bus services couldn’t cope, people didn’t have a clue how to get there and the park & ride was shambolic. The majority of fans at football (home) know what’s happening, where to park and how to get in and out. I’d argue a larger proportion wouldn’t know if you put the arena there. Agree about Hanley though. Someone said earlier up about putting it in Stoke. It needs to be in the middle of a town/city, allowing for other local businesses to profit and grow from it alongside a proper travel infrastructure to get to it. Being able to easily walk to it from the train station or a tram line in place would be massively beneficial - one that runs late to allow for later finishes (which I appreciate you’ve suggested in your post). Was putting the Brit where we did the right idea ultimately? If it had stayed in Stoke and we’d revamped the whole area (including the old training pitch) I reckon we could’ve fitted an arena there as well. Transport infrastructure would need to be changed with the roads in and out to be changed but that could’ve helped save Stoke town centre more so than it is now. Maintains the easy access to the train station. The difference though is 7 to 10k watching a gig and 30k watching the football. I agree if we had kept the ground in stoke it could have revamped the area. Even if we moved to the old Michelin site it would have been better plus plenty of land for a stadium, arena, pubs and shops nearby. Too little to late now though.

Its amazing, they know exactly where my car is if its not taxed, or exactly where i am if i forget to pay the bills, yet a terrorist who escapes from prison cant be found for love nor money. They should be microchipped like arnold schwarzenegger in total recall with a cricket ball sized tracker implanted in their heads. Mind you a wet tea towel would block the signal so maybe an additional one implanted up their arse.

When we beat Huddersfield away 5-2 in 2020 he was excellent along side fletcher.
Then he got injured and after that weve only seen occasional glimpses of his skill set.
Shame really as its almost as if hes lost confidence or belief in himself, and the longer it goes on the more frustrating he becomes to watch.

Id be happy if it actually worked in the boothen end.
We've been in this stadium for 26 years and its been atrocious from day one. Im sure only one speaker was on today and that was at half volume. God help us if there ever an incident in the place.

Would really love to hear everyone else's opinions on him. We had Ricardo fuller who reserved his energy to create moments of magic. This lad does the exact same but does absolutely nothing to our team. He scored against Rotherham midweek but we won't see that again for another 10 games. Shouldn't be anywhere near the first team..... To put Campbell in the same sentence as Fuller is like putting Bonham in the same sentence as Banks Fuller is and will always be lightyears ahead of Campbell in terms of skill and application
