In Arbroath with Mrs H seeing the ‘children’. Got the opportunity to see Arbroath at home tomorrow. £15. Looks like a real old school ground with standing - although with my legs that’s not an option. Alternative is shopping.

Why not if the football is rubbish there should be some decent smoked fish on offer.

If it’s not peeing down then probably will I’m not very fishy either but I can eat a bit of smoked haddock. I don’t even really know what an Arbroath Smokie is but I know it’s more famous for that than football.

Get yersel gone Isnt their ground right on the seafront? Yes mate, just a road separates it from the beach and North Sea. Saw Pittodrie today as well. Grim. Even in the sunshine.

Woukdnt want to be there if there was a storm coming in off the north sea. But tomorrow should be ok (assuming the weather is the same as down here)

I went to Northumberland on holiday. I’d heard of Craster Kippers so thought I should try some. Tried to eat them without cooking them they were fookin horrible. I didn’t know you were supposed to grill them.

I much prefer the Smokie. You can also buy fresh crab and other seafood in the town. Marco's by the harbour is a very good chippy. The ground is right by the sea probably the closest ground to the sea in the country. Worth a visit.

Fuck the footy, smokies all the way Not for me - as I’ve said I don’t like fish. I’m curious about tomorrow. I only like watching us - like many others I need help. I thought as I’m here and Mrs H is busy helping daughter with graduation ball I’d get out of the way. Arbroath ground is five mins away - sunshine tomorrow ergo has to be done 👍 Don’t know how I’ll get my tools past the turnstile though 💀

I went Arbroath last Easter Saturday for a local Derby against Dundee. Worst game of football I’d seen for awhile but more than made up for by the stadium, location, sense of occasion etc. one of the classic ground hops without shadow of a doubt. Took my girlfriend who’s not into footie and she loved it too. Loved it so much, as Arnie said ‘I’ll be back’ 😁

Whenever I'm in Scotland I always try to take in a game- usually Highland League. Been to watch Nairn County, Forres Mechanics, Clachnacuddin, Lossiemouth...and Inverness Caledonian Thistle on occasion as well. Always good fun.

Tutties Nook? ( excuse spelling ) And I take it you’ve know it too? I’ve also been to Stenhousemuir, Motherwell and a few others Once or twice 😆 Arbroath's hospitality used to be 60 quid for pie, beens, chips and 24 packs of Tennents. Tickets are online BTW and there's a new entrance at the front for home fans so usually well staffed with stewards 👍

The granite is nice in the summer as the sun glistens off it but only if its clean!
