4-1 dippers, and fully deserved. Klopp’s got this spot on and theyve run the Mancs into the ground.
The Shit will be looking at this and putting some extra importance on tomorrow night to start closing the gap.

The dippers look well up for this, pressing Man City all over the pitch. The pace of the game is incredible so far.

Absolute bollocks. If you replace Keane in that story with Wilko, it would put a smile on the face of almost every Stoke fan I’ve ever met. When the fuck did we start becoming Arsenal? Fuck that nonsense, we need some bite back in the team. We need solidity at the back creativity in the middle and goals up front. Kicking shit out of people isn't going to do us any good. Oh I agree, we need all of those things. But having a bit of bite in the side wouldn’t go amiss either. There was a time not so long ago when opposition teams feared coming to Stoke and knew they would have to earn the right for a result. Not anymore. We’ve ecome soft, and we’re absolute pushovers.

Gone up in your estimation? You must be very easily impressed! A thug kicks another player up in the air and goes up in your estimation? Jesus Christ - stop the bus, I want to get off! Absolute bollocks. If you replace Keane in that story with Wilko, it would put a smile on the face of almost every Stoke fan I’ve ever met. When the fuck did we start becoming Arsenal? I miss the days when it seemed the whole world was against us, and I think Keane might just be the kind of man we need to reignite that mentality. He’s not well liked by the media, he’ll piss of just about every opposition player, manager and fan base and we see a response from the players and get ourselves back on track, I think the crowd will get right behind him. Anything that helps kick the club back into life and turn the BET365 back into a hateful pit of intimidation sounds like a fucking top idea to me. The man has a desire to win and is edgy as fuck along with it.
I’m starting to warm to the idea.

Not everyone’s had a bad day, Mark Hughes is probably sat at home in his pants with a massive Cuban cigar and a very fine glass of red wine with the biggest daftest grin you’ve ever seen... I've heard from a very reliable source, that there is nothing that Mark Hughes likes better, than when his wife goes away for a weekend. He says that it gives him chance to get up in the morning and put the coffee on. He can sit in the kitchen in his underpants, smoking a cigar, and have a good scratch. (Without any complaints). He’s spent a fair chunk of the last few months sitting on our bench scratching his bollocks, so that’s hardly surprising.

Flores decides he can’t do it on a wet windy Wednesday night in Stoke. Palace, West Ham & West Brom pick up victories, Arnie and Joseph score and stuck with the thought that we’re going get destroyed on Monday night! Someone give me hope Just imagine the pure joy of managerless Stoke nicking a 1-0 win against the Shit at Old Trafford on Monday night, with Berahino scoring a last minute winner. Sometimes hope is all you have left.

He’s gone. Let it go, fella. Look at the position he's left us in, Stateside There no denying he’s left us in a right state, but he’s gone. The question now is just how much worse can it get while we fuck around trying to find a new gaffer? It seems like the club hierarchy had no game plan whatsoever in terms of contingency plans, and we’re now left with nobody steering the ship while we steam head first into a fucking iceberg that Stevie Wonder could have spotted with his eyes closed. Hughes is history now, no point retreading old ground. There are others at the club that bear a large share of responsibility and they need to get their shit together, sharpish.

The thing is ... If QSF had agreed to join us, you would have to question his morals, and most certainly his loyalty. I know managers do jump ship mid season, for money, but it doesn't really show them in a good light. His club are on a good cup run, only an absolute bastard would desert them at a time like this. Maybe we should approach The Pope, and see if he's interesred? And I don't mean that twonk at Vale! Devine intervention might be our best bet if we don’t get something sorted soon.

Why? I’m not a fan if Keane either, but I he comes in with MON and they do the business, you’re staying away?? I don't want anything to do with a club who employs Roy Keane. I don’t understand that one bit, but each to his own, I guess.

Think he has taken all of the flak for the incompetence of the people above him, what worries me is the fact that we are going to have the same problems as we have now but with a different manager. As someone once said before premier league on the pitch northern premier league off it ! I’ve been a massive fan of Hughes during his time here, but he’s only got himself to blame for the absolute shit-show that this season has become. I’m not denying there may be other at the club who are at fault, but The buck stops with the manager. He’s spunked some serious coin on one failure after another, played formations that don’t remotely suit the squad he’s assembled, failed to address glaring issues and shown absolutely no sign of turning things around despite being given far more time than he would have gotten anywhere else. He gave us two fantastic seasons and I thank him for those memories, but I don’t think he has a leg to stand on in the blame game.

That is the question To spend Rafa Rodgers Rowett O'Neill Pearson To not spend Giggs Strachan Koeman Mclaren For what it's worth, I don't think there's anyone else on the betting markets that is worth mentioning. In our household we have bets on Strachan and a minimal bet on Rafa. And we don't bet....ever. I’d go both balls in on Brendan Rodgers. Like him as a character and as a manager. Knows the league well. Just how “balls in” are you willing to go on that. I’ll wager a handsome sum right now that he won’t be packing in one of the cushier jobs in football to come to Stoke. Name your price 😄

His Stoke City story was a game of two halves. Sure, the second half was a turgid, disorganized mess and will be remembered for the far too regular drubbings at hands of the big boys.
With that said, let's not rewrite history and forget that the first half was a breath of fresh air and we were treated to some of the best football we've seen from Stoke in living memory. The 6-1 annihilation of the scousers to ruin Gerrard's farewell party. Taking Arsenal apart and going into half time with a 3-0 (should have been 4-0) lead. Somewhat fortunately beating Manchester City at the Etihad with that unforgettable Diouf goal, and then absolutely outclassing them at our place with the "BMX' frontline at it's absolute peak. Several wins over Chelsea, including that sensational last-minute winner from Assaidi. Beating Spurs at White Hart Lane courtesy of a magical goal from the little Catalan genius, and getting our first Premie League win against the shit.
I wish it could have ended differently, but sincere thanks for some outstanding and cherished memories, Mr. Hughes.

This idea that we’re completely fucking doomed, when in reality, we’re a couple of wins away from the top half of the table. It was time for him to go, and granted, the decision should probably have been made a few weeks ago, but now it’s done and we need to look forward. Coates hasn’t destroyed us, and to suggest that is the case is, with all due respect, utter bollocks. It would seem you’ve been around the block enough to know we’ve been in far, far worse predicaments and also to know just how much Coates has done to rebuild and revitalize the club in the last 12 years or so. Sorry to butt in, but we needed more decisive leadership in the summer. Hughes was quite obviously floundering and the summer's transfer business compounded the problem. The Coates family have definitely brought us back from anonymity but they either became complacent or failed to follow through with the necessary investment in the club or perhaps they lost sight of their original vision...... who knows which except them and their close confidants? Replacing the manager a few weeks ago would have been more astute in retrospect but the summer was the correct time to make that decision and it should have been done then. I think Hughes had enough credit in the bank to be given a chance to correct course after the summer, and Coates has never been the "trigger happy" type. He's rightly, in my opinion, given Hughes the opportunity to turn things around, and now he's pulled the trigger, albeit a few weeks too late. The transfer business was a disaster in retrospect, especially given the system that Hughes decided upon after getting that business done. With that said, I still don't think Coates has "destroyed us" and we're in a position that is salvageable even at this late stage. The real test of Coates' mettle is what happens over the next three weeks. He needs to make the right appointment and then provide the necessary backing.

I doubt it because realistically he is unlikely to work in the Premier League again. And I would imagine that he is already a rich man even before his payoff. I’d happily put a few quid on him managing in the Premier League again..... I'll be amazed if he's not back in a Premier League manager's seat by the end of the season. The merry-go-round just keeps on spinning.

A few weeks off in timing can hardly be considered “destroying the club”. Let’s see what happens over the next three weeks before castigating a man who’s done more for this club than anyone in living memory.

Fuck that. We need to go into EVERY game looking for a positive result. This idea of playing weakened teams agains the “big clubs” needs to end right now, otherwise what’s the fucking point of even fighting to stay in the Premier League? Up until the last 18 months, we’ve been the team that you most assiciate with bloodying the noses of the elites, and we need to get that mentality back, sharpish. I’ve got zero fucking interest in seeing Stoke City roll over for the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea or any of the other shit house clubs that think they have a divine right to beat us. If we’re going down, Inwould rather is go down kicking, snarling and biting that seeing us lay down for those cunts. I see my sarcasm didn't translate very well over this whole web thing... Perhaps a little winky thing or something would have assisted 😉 Emotions running high and all that malarkey. Sarcasm or not, I stand by my rant 😆

I wouldn’t be opposed to Rowett and think he could be a great appointment, but we need to stop with this nonsense that we’re already down. We’re a couple of wins away from the top half of the table, and if he doesn’t see that as a bigger opportunity than what he’s currently got at Derby, than he’s not the right man for us anyway.
We need somebody who’s going to inject some positivity and confidence into the club. With the right appointment and a couple of shrewd additions in the window, we should have more than enough about us to stay up and we can build from there.
We’ve got a chance at a fresh start and this defeatist “we’re already down” bollocks is helping nobody.

Fact. And I've wanted him out for ages. Glad you all finally agree with me. As much as Hughes needed to go, I guess the downside is that we now have to listen to insufferable cocks like you and crapslinger harping on about how we should all bow down to your knowledge and foresight.
