Flores decides he can’t do it on a wet windy Wednesday night in Stoke. Palace, West Ham & West Brom pick up victories, Arnie and Joseph score and stuck with the thought that we’re going get destroyed on Monday night! Someone give me hope

Someone give me hope Tough times ahead for sure At least we stuck to our ultimatum with Flores He didn’t meet our deadlines, imagine the much greater uproar if we had given him 4 or 5 more days and he turned us down Just like player signings we can’t force anyone to join us The players need us more than ever

Perhaps we just dodged a bullet - the man clearly had little gumption or integrity if he had agreed to join and then capitulated over night. Could have been a very good day.

Not everyone’s had a bad day, Mark Hughes is probably sat at home in his pants with a massive Cuban cigar and a very fine glass of red wine with the biggest daftest grin you’ve ever seen...

I suppose the only comfort is that at least MON wants the job.

I don’t think results are all that bad. West Ham and Palace should have too much on paper to be inlvolved in a relegation battle. The rest of the sides didn’t really gain any ground despite relatively easy fixtures. Southampton threw a 2 goal lead away, Huddersfield and Brighton get sucked into it that little bit more.
Even if we lose on Monday no-one will be really out of sight.
What we have to do is take a decent return from the four fixtures after that. Realistically we’ve got to be looking at a minimum of 8 points

I suppose the only comfort is that at least MON wants the job. That's not a comfort, its a fucking embarrassment if that is the only level of potential manager we can attract to the club

Someone give me hope Just imagine the pure joy of managerless Stoke nicking a 1-0 win against the Shit at Old Trafford on Monday night, with Berahino scoring a last minute winner. Sometimes hope is all you have left.

Come on we’ve had a decade of Premier football, we have sixteen games left, two wins and we’re back up there challenging for a top half finish. The new Manager can quite easily turn things around, yes I’m worried but it’s no where near over. If we aren’t expected to win on Monday night let’s get behind the team whatever the score let’s be positive and get rid of that awful cloud of gloom and doom that is sitting over us. I can’t believe the number of people who think it’s all over and have given up. These are the sort of people yo would never want with you when the chips are down whatever the situation. Can you imagine these guys half way up a mountain when extreme weather comes in “We’re dooomed, we’re doomed” Get some back bone man and let’s go for it.

All down to the owners to back MON now and give us some hope. If MON gets 3 or 4 of the right men in then we can fight back.
In relation to todays results. Could have been worse.
For me our direct competition to avoid relegation are
WBA, Swansea, Brighton, Huddersfield, Newcastle, Bournmouth, Sothammpton and Watford. You can forget Palace and West Ham their investment is beginning to pay off. It's no coincidence that those at the bottom are the clubs who've invested least.

Another plus - even though we've dicked about ridiculously, there's still a lot of dealings to be done in 2 weeks of a transfer window?
