Anyone fancy a bit of fun to see if they can be the best predictor on here. Each week you select one team from either the Premier League or the Championship. If your selection win their game you are through to week 2. Game week runs from Friday to Monday fixtures. Unless I say differently maybe over Christmas if it lasts that long. Once you have selected a team, you cannot select that team again during the game. If any one mistakenly selects the same team they have used before they will be excluded that week and have to select two teams the following week and both will need to win. If anyone forgets to enter a selection, then they have to select 2 teams the following week and both have to win, if you forget to enter on a second occasion you are disqualified Each member should " Quote " his previous weeks selection so all can see whose left and what teams they have already used. For example:- Week 1 Team A Week 2. Team A (won) Team B Week 3. Team A ( won) Team B ( won ) Team C Once a selection fails to win that person is eliminated, can you be the last man standing? Great idea, but I've only just got to grips with ABBA taking penalties. My money's on the pretty blonde by the way.

I was relatively content with the 13m euros we were supposedly paying in the erroneous Sky report. If we're getting him for £7m, that'd have to be the bargain of the summer, however it's come about... Please let this be true. If so, I really can't wait to see the huge amounts of humble pie being eaten by a number of very vocal slaters of our club leadership...you know who you are. You'd need a low loader to deliver humble pie to Benji Broken Biscuit.

According to Schalke fans he has all the skills to be explosive and threatening, but can be lazy and inconsistent. Sounds a lot like Arni when we signed him. If he plays his cards right, and really picks up his game, who knows, he could get himself a move to West Ham in a couple of years. I suppose it all depends on how ambitious he is.

I think that it's flattering that our better/ more consistent players are attracting the attention of other clubs,..... it doesn't mean to say that they'll be sold or even want to leave.
Having said that, Shawcross' contract delay is a bit of a mystery. Burnley & others may see this as a potential opportunity. Again, it doesn't mean we'll sell or that the player has expressed any desire to leave.

Well if they dont start to shape up Bill, i will be urging them to be pulled off even during the first half. Sometimes if a bad spell, quicker the better I think they should get Trevor onto the coaching staff Colin. He wouldn't put up with any slackers. He'd pull them right off . I bet that he would stiffen up the back four.

N'Zonzi is no where near as good as Fuller, Stein, Hudson, Smith, Mathews & many, many others.

Thing with Judda was he was a great CH and I aint seen a better penalty taker. All his were low. but he's continued to be a fan. seen him so many times as bald as a coot (how bizarre). Legend for me He still attends Stoke home matches.

Clearly never ever going to happen , as the window spirals from catastrophic to farcical , bardsley , Whelan , walters , Arnie all gone and hulls reserve left back , a 33 year old Free and a bloke on loan from Chelsea for a maximum of one year is our currrnt idea of the answer . Players must be as bewildered as the rest of us . Benji, only one of those was a regular starter, the other 3 are well past their best-good servants but I think if we were still playing them as regulars then we really would have been in the shit . We have released some expensive (wage wise) squad players-Arnie being the exception. Hoof, you're wasting your time trying to talk sense to the Broken Biscuit. There's no point knocking if there's nobody in.

Last season he played: Right Midfield 12 Left Midfield 8 Central Midfield 4 Defensive Midfield 1 Right Back 1 Left Wing 1 Also - interestingly (for geeks like me anyway) - he only finished 6 full 90 minutes... either subbed on, or subbed off in the majority of games. My interpretation of the number of different positions he has played is a positive indication of how much he wants to play first team football. I hope that he joins Stoke City FC.

..... it says that Stoke have signed four players so far. Compare with Spurs who have signed none, so by your logic they are fooked. Spurs are signing germany u21 right back jeremy toljan for £3million ( From hoffenheim I think? ) . Which is exactly the sort of deal we should be doing I'm sure that Spurs will be fine. My point was intended for those who are obsessed with what it says on the SSN screen. Jim White gets on my t!ts.

When it shows Premiership clubs ins and outs. Stoke Ins. loan, loan, undisclosed,I want to see, X player £25m,X player £20m X player £15M so on and so forth on a couple of more players. ..... it says that Stoke have signed four players so far. Compare with Spurs who have signed none, so by your logic they are fooked.

I think Liverpool are a good fit for him. Probably would get some games there too. But none of the other big sides look a good fit - he obviously wouldn't go to Spurs! Outside of them, he's probably looking at a smaller club if he wants 30+ games-a-season, especially if he wants a chance in midfield ..... needs games if he wants to regain an England place.

When he signs no one is allowed to refer to him as "The Ox" as it is truly wank. Ok? He's "Chambo" as far as I'm concerned.

Great to generate as much interest as this and to help people contacting direct for a book, my email is probably best brianwdarling@icloud.com also I am on Facebook and also have a Twitter page GloryHunterBook so through any of these channels I can receive book orders. All the best to everyone. Thanks for everyone who has shown interest in the book. I am meeting Lou Macari at Trentham Gardens on Thursday at 10.45am to sign a large bunch of books. I am sure that if a few people (who aren't at work or off on hols) looked in at around 11am, he (and I) would be quite happy to sign and personalise a few copies. Whereabouts at Trentham Gardens ?

Yes, Hudson is way down the pecking order behind Sir Stan, Freddie Steele, Neil Franklin and Gordon Banks as our best ever player. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I'm not quite old enough to have seen Sir Stan et al play. My Dad was a massive fan of Freddie Steele. For my own part, I've been a season ticket holder since 1974, a purchase inspired by the mercurial talents of Alan Hudson.
