How do you get to watch games at St G's, can you park and get in free? For some reason I imagine security guards and them not really wanting civilians there. St G's is basically a hotel surrounded by football pitches. I went on a paid tour with my mate a couple of years ago to see the sports facilities. I've subsequently visited the hotel & bar area for free, and then had a wander around the Sports area for nowt. The only thing that I didn't get to see second time around was the inside of the player rehabilitation building. Worth driving onto the hotel car park & having a look around. I would expect that security arrangements might be tighter when the England team are there.

He needs to be give a chance and encouragement......................HERE!!!!! I agree or mega money for him, make a profit at least, the lad has talent just seems like a fish out of water at Stoke, i don`t think we have ever built a team to accommodate him we wanted him to adjust,he reminds me of Alan Hudson in his languid style Imbula couldn't lace Alan Hudson's boots. I can't believe that you made a comparison between our best ever player & one of the worst, possibly the very worst buy ever at £18M.

Can only assume he's off as soon as the Delph deal is done, which is a shame given the last few weeks The sooner he goes the better. No Premier League side can afford any passengers.

Who are these bloody players? also if they were any good would they be joining us? No! we fucked ourselves well bad when we forced Tony out. I thought we'd go down in 2015/16, so only bit premature. im sticking a tenner on relegation ..... a "tenner". Wow, that's real commitment. If you are so certain why not go the whole hog & re-mortgage your house ?

Bet365 reckon Huddersfield, Burnley, Brighton. They will give you 7/1 on Stoke City if you think we might take the plunge. 7/1 ... an opportunity for Broken Biscuit to put his money where his mouth is and become a millionaire.

I'd keep Imbula, I think there is still far more to him than we have seen so far ... well we've seen nothing so far, so you're probably right. Get rid.

It's a squad game these days (not just about a starting 11).
I was never impressed with Young as an outright winger & his diving attributes, but more latterly when I've seen him play wingback, I thought the he was OK in that role.

I'm sat here excited, i want it soon. Why do Stoke always make us wait for 40 plus pages before officially signing a player The announcement is probably done, just being uploaded from a 28.8k Dial-Up Modem on a Windows 95 Machine, we'll get it by Thursday I'd better fire up my Sinclair Spectrum now then.

West Ham are a slightly bigger club than Stoke, although I will just leave this here... Current consecutive years in the top-flight. Stoke City - 10 West Ham - 6 All-time years spent in the top-flight. Stoke City - 62 West Ham - 60 *Year totals include the upcoming season. Yes, but West Ham won the World Cup in 1966.

I was at the ground on Monday and a bloke there said the builders are ahead of schedule and will incur a £10,000 a day penalty for each day they go past completion date. Although he was only directing traffic on the car park 😀 If he's directing traffic on the car park, then he probably knows more about what's happening with Bruno than the transfer team do.

As a Hammer I'm baffled as to why you guys don't think moving to a club with a bigger fanbase, bigger crowds, more resources, more trophies in our history plus the attraction of living in London isn't a step up for Arnie seriously, yes it has the tourist attractions and a lot more terrorist attacks, but it's so expensive, and it's a right shithole in places, and they won't actually live in London but the surrounding commuter belt. Cheshire is the countrys richest county and offers what these multi milionaires want at a better price and has easy access to Manchester airport I wouldn't live in London for a gold pig.

Actually, it doesn't - it says post hidden. I see their replies, but I can live with reading others castigating the negative nincompoop. You mean all this time... Aaaaaargh! Thanks other Oatcake posters who said you could still see blocked posters' posts in quotes! I'm IT illegitimate. Please will someone explain in simple terms how I can block Bycars Benji.

Eyes rolling back into his head and everything. Hopefully the season will be over before he regains the energy to type. Your really rather ungracious when " Benji " is proved right , yesterday's comment that most likely neither will sign ominously closer . My support for Stoke city remains undaunted but right now I'm struggling to sit in the same stadium as " next level " " hit the ground running " " non stick Tony "' FFS, you're referring to yourself in the third person now. Very Donald Trump.

Surely the only reason we didn't take him up is that we didn't want him? Can there be any other explanation? The option was there at a reasonable pre agreed price and we decided not to take it up. Perhaps we saw zouma as a better option. Baffling we haven't signed him, but I can't see why else we wouldn't have. At the moment, I can only think of two other possibilities: • Stoke feel that they've been gazumped by Porto & effectively told them to stick the deal where the sun doesn't shine. • Porto are trying to use the Palace talk as a lever to force Stoke's hand. I suppose this depends on where the Palce talk originated from (Palace / Porto / agent).

I guess in this day and age, we might be lucky enough to get that sort of money.....I'm not convinced he's WORTH it myself When jack cork is going for £10m then arnie is probably worth £30m! I thought that Jack Cork is the "Six Million Dollar Man" because of the way Swansea were able to rebuild him after his near fatal injury sustained at Stoke.

Another small but clear statement of intent was to keep Haugaard despite the fact he is one of the worst goalkeepers I have ever seen in a Stoke shirt (other than perhaps Gordon Marshall) and allow Daniel Bachman to leave. Clearly a decision based on easiest fiscal scenario and not for footballing reasons Is Bachman any good? You ain't seen nothing yet.

Wouldn't trust Sky sources as far as I could throw them - but wouldn't be a massive shock if Koeman was interested having managed him for 3 years. www.skysports.com/transfer-centre09:41 MARTINS INDI REMAINS IN PORTUGAL Bruno Martins Indi remains in Portugal and is training with Porto, according to Sky sources.
Stoke City remain interested in doing a permanent deal for the player after he spent last season on loan at the bet365 Stadium.
Sky Sports News HQ understands another Premier League club have made an offer for Martins Indi, while Schalke are one of a number of European teams interested. That what happens if you prevaricate in a market like this people talking Bruno and zouma clearly have little exoerirbce of our transfer team , the least surprising outcome now would be if neither signed exoerirbce??? I'm in Greece at the moment & none of the locals have ever heard of the place.

After today's match, fuck him off if he's being a lil' viennese bitch. Those youngsters N'goy, Campbell and Verlinden showed me the grass is bright on the other side, plus we've got that Egyptian wonderkid who deserves minutes too. Get a good fee of £25+ for the 29 year old and build on for the future. We don't need egos, we need goals and set up play. "the grass is bright on the other side"...... brilliant ! I'm sure that Charles Jefferson would be proud of that mixed metaphor You've obviously "seen the green at the end of the tunnel" ...... only joking matey.

Some different stories going around about the size of the bid🤔 Journalists in plucking numbers out of the air shocker. If this is all about maximising the transfer fee, I would just like to place on record the fact that Arnie is the most consistent player that I've ever seen in 43 years of watching Stoke City. His commitment, pace, ability to tackle & track back are second to none. Not to mention dying for the cause by playing through injury. ..... there, that should jack up the price by a couple of million.
