I feel we need a upgraded Ray Wallace type a bulldog of a midfielder. A Roy Keane if you like. Play alongside Allen and Fletcher and weve got a dream team.

I think a 411211 would be better GK Rb. Ch. ch. lb Dm Cm Rw. Lw Am Cf

I think a 411211 would be better GK Rb. Ch. ch. lb Dm Cm Rw. Lw Am Cf I think you just created a formation that already exists its 4231. I wouldn't go 442 personally. I think if you have genuine wingers it leaves you light in the centre of the park which is suicide. The only other way to do it is to just spoil in the centre when not in possession and go over it with the ball when you get possession deep. We all know what that looks like it has very limited potential and if that's what you're going to do why ever get rid of Pulis? I think the 4231 suits our squad better apart from maybe our strikers non of whom are ideal lone strikers. I like the 343 of Chelsea but we haven't got the wingbacks for it neither do we seem overly interested in acquiring them. We don't seem overly interested in doing anything we just seem to be hoping to survive. We may have some amazing deals lined up but I just don't buy that we have anything major that hasn't managed to find a way out and non of what we have been linked with seems very inspiring or imo likely to improve us vastly.

He keeps signing midfielders with very minimal physical presence does my head in.

If not LMH will have to pull them off at half time.

Sometimes if a bad spell, quicker the better

I think if you are looking to penetrate deep
you must be prepared to have someone cover in behind and come from deep that way too.

Oh yes Bill he is not afraid to pull any man off. He has taken a coaching badge so he can teach some local 16-18 year old men some new tricks. Hes bloody dedicated Bill

Its frustrating at the moment watching. We need to smash the balls into the box, its not pretty, but it's VERY effective!

I think deep penetration has some major issues. I'd favour a slow build up around the box with some probing before an all out assault. then a ball croseed out to the edge and an attack in the rear following on to a full frontal attempt with the desired outcome and a score with full celebration.

Yes i watched Sharon play football before i knew she travelled to Lesbos if you know what i mean. Oh she was like a terrier in the box , she could get in the area as fast as lighting and be out with a result in no time. Trevor likes to get in from behind with no messing and hit em where it hurts
