We just need someone to revitalise the players...anyone, someone different to motivate the squad for us to scrape over the line.

I think well over 90% of Stoke fans, whether with heavy heart(like me) or jumping for joy, would like to see him gone. Gerry Francis to take over unless there is another better suggestion. Someone who'll play the right players in the right positions.

westpoint, no we won't. We can't beat our relegation rivals at home so where do the points come from?

I asked the question of where the points were coming from three or four games ago...and still nothing...we will go unless TP goes. Even then, it doesn't look good but something, anything to get over the line. Would 3 points be enough???

Would be the best result of the day...we have no chance of staying up otherwise...probably don't anyway but if we don't act now it'll be too late. And this coming from a Rimmer. Sorry, Tony, your time is now up.

I cannot stand Stoke-free weekends. I love the Close Season, a chance for mind, nerves and wallet to recuperate but weekends off during the season are pretty horrific. Those two early season International breaks, just after the season is up and running are purgatory. Designed by people who clearly don't like football. This...except if we have just won and there's a two week break to enjoy it.

I never want Stoke to lose a match in any circumstances...even with Alan Ball in charge! It just ruins my night/weekend, etc. The high you get from a win should know no bounds...and i don't care how we get it.

Why did we play at Villa on a Monday night the night we went down?Anyone know? Something to do with Villa getting to the final of the League Cup. Either they had just played it, or it was the following weekend? That'd be a late League Cup Final.

I think we are in serious danger of going down. No points on Saturday and we are close to being swallowed up.

Bottom up, I'd say:
QPR Reading Stoke City
Pressure is mounting with every game and we ain't getting the luck needed at the moment.

Kightly Shotton Beggo (Purely to fund new signings) Adam Ness Crouch Pennant. Need 7 or 8 really good signings in the summer or we could face a real relegation battle, We already are, like or not.

Whelan, Crouch, Kightly, Owen, Sidibe, Edu and Ness for starters. Not that we'd get a penny for them...wage bill cut though.

36-37 should do it. Wouldn't be that surprised is someone stayed up with 34. Win against West Brom and we should finish in the mid-40s again. If we lose that one it could be nervy few weeks. We simply should not even have to contemplate it given the resources at the managers disposal ...and our position at the start of the year.

And so it keeps going on until we get sucked into this with our worst run since our return. I'd take any kind of return over the next two matches, something, just something. It's almost a Pulis way of thinking which is a worry.

Let's have a go BEGOVIC SHOTTON CAMERON SHAWCROSS WILSON SHEA NZONZI ADAM ETHERINGTON JONES JEROME 1-2 us Can Shea play on the right? I like this line up but no way it'll happen so 3 - 0 to the Geordies and more pressure lumped on us
