Sorry folks but after hours of lamenting; can't help but feel we are going down. Never mind, 4 years of memories I thought I would never see again. Drastic steps need to be taken to remove an incumbent. Enough from me. totally pissd off!

Very concerned and it is not looking good at the moment.
However, the main thing is it is still in our hands.

I asked the question of where the points were coming from three or four games ago...and still nothing...we will go unless TP goes. Even then, it doesn't look good but something, anything to get over the line. Would 3 points be enough???

We will get to 37 and that will be enough

westpoint, no we won't. We can't beat our relegation rivals at home so where do the points come from?

mate, i said to a guy today before the game i would take a shocking 0-0 draw all day. They were always going to score today, the season revolves around the Norwich game. We will beat them and 37 will be enough

I think it is far to late in the season now to sack Pulis and even if we did who would we get in ? Looks like it is going to be a case of sink or swim. Pulis has got us in this mess and he is going to have to get us out of it. A managerial decision will have to wait till the summer now.

We will beat them and 37 will be enough We have a negative manager who has lost the plot in tandem with a team that has lost its confidence and self belief and we conna score goals or keep a clean sheet. So where are these points coming from?

We need to start with Owen and change away tactics for last three. Just worth trying changes. Lost last six on bounce away.

Today we looked like a side heading for the championship. We had no idea at all how to break down a defence that has been pretty shit all season Villa played us off the park at times and it could have been 5 or 6 for them. Players who you normally can depend on like Huth and Shawcross looked like their confidence is shot to shit and it looks very worrying. Pulis has to be sacked on Monday because we will not stay up with him in charge.

Why wait until Monday?
I would have thought Monday would be the day to announce the new man.

I can see us getting a point against the shit then then points agin Norwich and Spurs. Maybe a point at Sunderland. Football is a funny game but FFS its better to get relegated next year than this

Yep, it'd be typical for us to get relegated, with the new riches at the end of this season!!

I still have some hope, although gutted after today.
If Tony plays Adam for 90 mins, we will see a difference. Just like when Fuller used to come on, we expected something to happen. I feel the same now when Adam runs on.

7-1 to go down still big odds when all considered, can only see 3 points against norwich.

We need to start with Owen and change away tactics for last three. Just worth trying changes. Lost last six on bounce away. He won't change his selections though that has been the problem. He is sticking with his favourite shite yes men championship standard players. Any half decent manager would have changed things around a while ago and shook up the team. What worries me is during the press Conf after the match he was blaming the loss on Whelan being out. That means its back to more dross and a heavy defeat next week. We need to be starting with the team that finished against Villa with the possible inclusion of Owen as a striker. We need goals.

Norwich obviously is the game to decide our possible fate. If We dont beat them then i will be fearing the worst. No draw either has to be 3 points.

Despite how disappointing yesterday was, having slept on it and looked objectively at the table and the fixture lists of the contenders, its easy to understand why we are still not favourites to go down.
Yesterday's result is now history. Lets move on from there. Safety is still in our grasp.
I like Swampys notion of a point against Man U (who would surely prefer to win the title at home rather than the Britannia Stadium) and a win against Norwich.
Today is a big day for us without kicking a ball, particularly a defeat for Sunderland, and hopefully bad results for the others.
Although there is a tone of optimism in this post, these are desperate times. We must continue to hold our nerve.

Highly unlikely we get a point from Man U game. A draw at QPR followed by a win vs. Norwich would give us hope. But a draw against Norwich and scrapping for a point from anywhere is how I see rest of season going. What worries me is the dressing room must be a depressing place right now.

not sure about the 37 point thing? Can't see us winning a game so I suppose I'm hoping for 4 draws - Norwich, QPR, Sunderland and Southampton? This seems even less likely than a win, so unless someone down there with us has a total mare, we may well be down?
