Part of me is thinking, obviously I want Stoke to win.
the other part is thinking I hope we lose in order to put another nail in TP's coffin.
Is that wrong?
How has this man let us lose so much hope in our fixtures?

Is it wrong?
Depends, are you a Stoke fan?
If so, then yes. It is very wrong.

That's always an issue when wanting a manager out.
The answer is ultimately yes it's wrong. The reason I say that is because there's a lot of good players who work hard on the pitch for us and deserve more than the unusual positions they play and the rank negative systems.
TP won't be here forever.
And besides its west brom!!!!

Would you rather see what happens next season in the Premiership or go down?
Of course there's the distinct possibility that Pulis will still be at the helm regardless..

I want him gone but not at the price of relegation. Stoke are our team not his

I'm sure alot of people see the point though do you really???? i think even the most ardent PHWs (hate that term) on here don't want us to lose games.......this place is getting more and more ridiculous by the hour if you genuinely mean what you say then you may be better to simply avoid the Brit from now on mate, you probably won't be very welcome by ANY Stoke fans with this kind of attitude

We have simply got to win.
Losing isn't an option to me.

Seeing as Pulis will still be manager even if we lose, hoping that happens is stupid as well as wrong..

Very wrong.
I keep saying that there are some 'supporters' than want us to lose. Threads like these confirm that.

Part of me is thinking, obviously I want Stoke to win. the other part is thinking I hope we lose in order to put another nail in TP's coffin. Is that wrong? How has this man let us lose so much hope in our fixtures? Yeah I totally get your comments even if I dont completely agree. At the end of the day we almost certainly arent going to go down. If we won and played well i'd be happy. If we won and played shit with the usual negative tactics then is that really of any benefit to the club at all? What is the point of that? All that would do is hide the cracks. If losing a few games from now until the end of the season was the difference between pressing the issue and TP being sacked and grinding out a few results through dire performances meaning TP keeps his job for next season, then I'd certainly prefer the former. I think a lot of people would too.

The only time I have ever wanted us to lose was against Bolton away 92-93 and I'm sure a lot of Stoke fans were with me on that.
However that was a case where we were already champions! Any other time, yes it is completely wrong! Would you really walk away from the Brit if we lost to West Brom with a sense of satisfaction??

I think it's wrong, especially when you factor in the precarious position we find ourselves in. Wanting to lose to WBA is pretty filthy too.

I'm sorry but there are some pretty self-contradictory concepts being put across here. Some people who have clearly stated "TP has to go...not the man to take us forward" etc etc are now claiming they want to see us win games until the end of the season which would have the effect (one would expect) of TP keeping his job. Where is the logic behind that? Maybe i'm being a bit too cynical in think the vast majority of fans who want Pulis out couldnt give a shit if we lost on Saturday if it pressed the issue (which it would).

You don't have to support the manager, a certain player or the people running the club but you should always support Stoke City.
