Hellu! Logically, we will lose this one, 3-0 or 4-0, to Newcastle Utd. They have a lot of new interesting players. They won't be relegated.

Logically we should have beaten West Ham, football is a funny old game.
I really hope we have a go at them personally. They are playing away in Russia on Thursday to Anzhi Makhachkala and Pulis knows better than most how tough this can be considering our trip to Kiev previously. If he goes and has a go at them and we make them actually work hard for something against us then we could realistically get something from them.
I would like Adam, Jones, Jerome and Ethers all start with Jerome keeping his place, Jones for Crouch, Ethers for Kightly and Adam for Whelan. I think Walters should keep his place because I think he's better than Kightly.

With castle flying to and back from russia with a game in the middle then under pulis rules they should be knackered and be beaten easily??? If he dosent set out to win this game then i give up :/

If we keep it tight,2-0 loss. If we are sloppy,3 or 4 nil. Pulis out. ;D

Can't believe how bad Crouch is looking lately.

when we signed crouch I was very underwhelmed, not because he wasn't a good player, but because he is not creative enough when we are struggling for goals. add to that he is now on the decline and it confirms what we have all heard hundreds of times on this board, it was a very bad signing for us. love to see kj and cameron up top sunday, ethers and pennant on the wings, but its never going to happen is it. 1-0 newcastle, they will be knackered, but we wont be having a go at them like we should.

Newcastle should be dead on their feet after playing in Moscow tonight. Couldn't wish for better time to play them.
If we can't get a result against a team below us in the table in these circumstances will really put the pressure on us, in terms of both the media and fears of getting sucked into a relegation battle.

I am confident of a win on Sunday. Pulis loves getting a result when his back's against the wall and with Newcastle seriously disadvantaged with their Thursday night game, I reckon we will beat them.
I'm going for a 1-0 thumping. Charlie Adam

Knowing that they're coming back from a game in Russia and Coloccini is out. I'd expect us to sit back for 90 minutes and lose 1-0 late on. Things "won't drop for us" again.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if pulis puts a very attack minded team out on sat and if we get done 4/5 nil will have a little smile to himself

The toon have a tiring trip to russia and back and are not in the best of form recently. But forget that because the STOKE CITY charity roadshow is pulling up in toonland where the capped twat will park the bus hoping to nick a result but the truth is that we will go a goal down and pulis will then make a few strange substitutions hoping to keep the damage limitation down. Then we will hear the " nah nige newcastle are a smashing club and it shows how far this club has come " diatribe before pulis again lambasts the referee claiming newcastles 5th goal was offside

But Jons a smashing lad and if we get another penalty next week and he wants to take it then he can take it, were a family here Nige and we really need the sensible fans in force next week.

My brain:
Begovic Shotton Cameron Shawcross Wilson Kightly N'Zonzi Whitehead Shea Jerome Jones
Pulis':
Begovic Shotton Wilson Shawcross Cameron Kightly N'Zonzi Walters Whelan Etherington Crouch
2-0 defeat with the above team.
