Edwards had a terrible game but let's not right him off just yet. Still very young and is learning.
McClean on the other hand.. Absolute drivel. He's so bad it's embarrassing. Can't believe Rowett thought he'd do a job.
We've got no actual left back or wing back. We've signed numerous centre half's. Brought Bruno back in from the cold as Lindsay is up there with the wankest signings of all time, turns out Bathh is just as toss and we're now relying on a Spurs loanee and Bruno who Jones signed players to replace.
We've had Duffy in who was instrumental in Sheffields season.. Can't get a sniff. Hogan who can't get a sniff.
It's just a shambles. And I was a supporter of Jones but watching it tonight was painful.
Etebo and Badou I thought were fantastic but unfortunately for them pair, the rest of the team are absolute dog shit

Wasn't really a win was it. It was a lucky penalty shoot out in the cup
Brentford was a result to build on, and we have to put in a performance Friday but crucially, get the result. It's no good having hard luck stories again.
3 points no less.
I want him to stay but it's becoming difficult to even fight his corner. A win on Friday simply has to happen or its hands up for me, can't defend him any longer.

Thing is though if we by some miracle beat Forest, that buys him more time for this fucking pitiful charade to continue. Isn’t he now statistically our worst EVER manager? On the flip side, the team that played vs Brentford with a 2 man strike force, wins against Forest convincingly and we start to put a run of games together All is forgiven? Likelihood it will happen is low i admit

Hughton isn't going to take the Stoke job when he's turned down numerous other championship sides.
Us being one of the worst, why would anyone think he would take it?

Taking the piss?!
The same Mame Diouf where a ball gets played to him and bounces off him ? The same Mame Diouf who throws his arms up in the air when he makes yet another fuck up and whines for about 10 minutes after ?
The only position Mame Diouf has ever remotely looked like a footballer, is the right wing back position.
Never do I wanna see him up top again.

Not even sure why I'm thinking about it. But here goes
Badou and Etebo in the middle. Without fail.
If Powell fancies playing a game for us and repaying the 60k a week he's on then I'd have him playing... But assuming the wind has tweeked his hamstring.. Duffy plays behind Gregory.
Id keep the terrible footballer and thick cunt that is Jimmy Mac well out of the team as well
Butland
Bruno Carter Vickers Collins
Edwards Clucas
Badou Etebo
Duffy Gregory

First half was absolutely terrible. But 2nd was much more positive. If Etebo had shot... We win the game.
Let's not forget Brentford have been very solid and don't concede many.
Good (Ish) away performance and we should and deserved to win on the whole.
The players are clearly behind Jones, Badou surprised me again, he was very good bar a few wayward passes.
Next week he simply has to get the team right. Badou Etebo in the middle is 100% the way forward now.
Ince needs to come out, totally ineffective in that position. I'd go Duffy or have Campbell on with Super Jon Walters.. I mean Gregory.

I find it unbelievable you don't understand my post It's clearly a question of everyones opinion. I'm not for one second saying I'm happy for us to go down. I'm saying would it be a total disaster? As in a question.. You know, those things people answer with their thoughts The thing is some questions don’t need to be asked for you to know the answer. Such as is: Is a good idea that I put my hand on this gas job that is alight? Or shall I try putting my foot in a meat mincer? Got a fair few discussing the possibility of such scenario. Which is a realistic one, unlike yours

Are you high? Of course it would. I recall some saying how they were looking forward to the Championship...thats worked well aint it. ? Again, another person who hasn't quite grasped the post. It's a question, something that given the current circumstances may well happen.. So gauging opinion and fellow fans thoughts No I'm not high, I don't do drugs.

Was thinking on the way home as I drove past the Brit... If worst came to the worst and we ended up going down again, would it be a total disaster? How do we plan for that? Leicester went down there, Wolves went down there. Sunderland are still down there... Had to rebuild. I don't think we're quite Sunderland material but all the same.. What will it take for the Coates family to finally ring wholesale changes? We never got the changes promised after Hughes was sacked and if we can't stop the rot we'll be firmly up shit creek with half a bastard paddle by Christmas. If we went down, does it destroy us or do we do what Leicester and Wolves managed to do? Would be interested to know what happened with said clubs Seriously? Why not drop out of the Sentinel while we are at it. Unbelievable!!! I find it unbelievable you don't understand my post It's clearly a question of everyones opinion. Don't care how good he is. He doesn't want to be here.
If Nath brings him back into the fold, The message that sends out to the rest of the squad is unquestionably negative.
Take Etebo for example, the lad was sold the dream of getting back into the Premier League immediately, shon at the World Cup, did very well at the African nations... Is he stomping his feet? Nope.
He gets paid a handsome wage and gives 110% every week, keeps his head down and says all the right things.
The LAST thing we need is Badou getting a sniff, he might be a better overall footballer than what we have, but if anyone thinks he'll be remotely interested then you're mistaken.
As someone said above, have him scrubbing the bogs.

I can't believe Lindsay gets anywhere near the team
He's absolutely wank.
This team will click and work when Jones puts Collins in with Bruno at centre back. Experience and youth.
Woods in the middle with Etebo
And a partner up top with Tyrese.

Campbell needs to start Saturday
And Bruno is a far superior option to Liam fucking Lindsay

I think his idea was to try and shut up shop against an extremely good Leeds side.
Back fired.
Heindsight is a wonderful thing, but he tried something, it didn't work. Players needed dropping.
We move onto the next (league) game and we go again.
When he gets the team and system right we've got the squad to tear up teams. More patience required.

Honestly, I’ve had enough of the crap he comes out with. He didn’t play him at all last season and now he’s realised Cousins is a bit shit and has his tail between his legs. exactly .. why sign cousins, and play him instead , for the opening game of the season , if he wants to play woods . Fuck me. The bloke can't win!! So, he signs a player HE KNOWS is a good lad, good engine and a potential asset. It's been mentioned Woods had some off field issues last season and it's allegedely all sorted. So he's come back this pre season looking like the player we originally signed who was feckin brilliant So, Jones puts him in. And you're slating him for it? Fucking have a word! Could be worse, we could have stubborn fuckers like Toxic or Rowett who played their favourites no matter what!

Just unbelievable. One game into the new season and there's actually a thread on how much time we give him.
3 wins in 22. Yep. It's shite. But when you actually look into it. He walked into a SHOWER OF SHITE. A POISON dressing room, players with huge chips on their shoulders. Divisions in the entire club.
Now, it's taken him this long to effectively sort out the mess that Hughes, Cartwright and Co left as Rowett clearly couldn't. We're at a stage when we have near enough a new team. A new philosophy and a new style.
We've played one game. Had Jack not had baby brain, or whatever the fuck it was. The result may have been different. Fuck knows
Either way, Jones will get plenty of time. Regardless of what some fucktards on here say.
Patience, and a bit of a reality check needed

So, whats the situation with the 15 million presumably that Cardiff paid Nantes?
Insurance have anything to do with it or what?
Surreal and almost unheard of situation to be in. But yeah, Cardiff pay 15 million and whatever the circumstances, said player goes missing / presumed dead hours / days later.
Very sad time. But I'm intrigued to know what happens to the fee etc...

Etebo is class. Clucas will get a gig on the left and McClean will be replaced by Etebo long term.
I'd probably hazard a guess he'll go unchanged vs Millwall.
It's good to have so much competition

Can't believe the grief this lad gets. He's absolute gold and the heartbeat of our set up.
Poor Ish first half but no worse than anybody else and half of the stuff he got shit for was because no bastard else would move or get in a position to be passed the ball!
2nd half Rowett had definitely told Butland to get Woods on the ball, when they tried to press Ryan dropped very deep to get the ball everytime and we played much better.
He made one or two mistakes but I certainly recall him atoning for them.

Crazy to think Bauer and Bojan cant get in this team, useless folk like Cuco and Benik play every week.
Berahino is head and shoulders our best forward and he's shunted on the wing essentially, and Bauer is picking up a fat cheque every week all the while Cuco can't fucking cross, defend or remotely look like a footballer.
Rowett is starting to puzzle me, especially with the Bojan cold shoulder situation that's arisen

I can almost guarantee this kind of trouble wont happen for a long time.
Knobheads attend every match, this was different because the 'stewarding' / 'policing' was a total shambles. They let full capacity in the away end unreserved! If there was any organisation (like at every other normal game up and down the country, where fans are removed from stairways, told to sit down and healthy and safety procedures are adhered to) then i'd suggest alot of last nights mither in the away end would have been avoided.
The police chose to simply stand between Vale & Stoke and they left the fans to there own devices, unfortunately, after alcohol and groups of lads get together, banter spills over and what happened, happened.
What happened was a total disgrace, people smashing up toilets and what not, shocking. But given proper policing, it simply would not have had chance to have happened, and if it did, then the police could have simply removed the main culprits.
Has it happened at any away day in the past 10-15-20 years?????? No!
