Feeling cautiously optimistic. I know we're only twelve games in but the lads are doing alright thus far.

Gutless again. Weak minded and pathetic again. All teams have to do is lean on us a little bit and we crumble like fucking pussies every fucking time So sick of this fucking dog shit.

We're in trouble. Played off the park in three out of four games. Mentally we looked fucked. Saturday is now a big game. I know it's only August and way too early to be making predictions but we need a win quick. Fans were right to boo the team off tonight. Buck your fucking ideas up Stoke.

Theres some right knobs on here. It was a guttsy performance that we were unfortunate not too win. Question the quality but not the effort. The lads gave everything. You're right mate. Can't fault the effort. But looking at the season overall, and the week after week piss poor quality, we have to admit that we're just not premier league quality. We haven't won a game for three months. It isn't a case of bad luck that we are where we are. We will certainly be relegated. I was convinced after the Everton fuck up that we were down so tonight doesn't disappoint a great deal. Fair play to the boys for having a go. We will bounce back from this car crash of a season. Stoke City will return to the big time once more.

For few minutes I thought Stoke City will have some luck for the first time but it didnt work again, it will never work if you cant defend for 5 minutes. We did have luck but we are soooooo wank luck isnt enough Harsh truth is that we simply aren't good enough for this league. "Bad luck" isn't the reason we're going down.

Let's be honest we weren't staying up even if we'd won this. It makes no difference. True. We were fucked after the Everton game. But it still stings when you concede a late equalizer.

The Everton defeat finished us off. It's QPR, Notts Forest and Leeds next season. I can see us cut adrift if not mathematically down before the last two fixtures in May. Sad truth is that this team is simply not good enough for this level of football. We look like what we will be next term; namely a second flight outfit. But hey, it's not the end of the world folks. We can bounce back if we work hard and play our cards right. Stoke is a great club with superb supporters. The Potters will rise again. And let's not forget that we've had some great times in the top flight. Who would of thought back in 2008 that we would have lasted for a decade in the premiership. We've taken them all on and we've beaten them all at one time or another. Stoke City is back on the football map. It won't take us another 23 years to get back to the summit. This season has been dog shit but I'm confident that better times lie ahead.

I cant blame Lambert for losing against Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton, but losing to Bournemouth in addition to draw against Watford and Brighton at home were not good results. Any way, the upcoming fixtures are the real deal and everything is still possible, Wins against Crystal Palace, Burnley and Swansea can be done and can be enough. The Everton defeat finished us off mate. We'll be mixing it up with Leeds, Ipswich and QPR next term. I do like Lambert though. I think we should give him a chance in the Championship as he could do a decent job for us. We have to give him a fair chance to put his stamp on the team.

39 points could be enough to stay up. After today I can't see us staying up sadly. This was a proper gutter of a result, and we've bottled too many key games this year. I fear the Palace and Swansea games could mean nothing by the time they come around. This has been a stinker of a season. Some of our players and others who work at the club have let themselves and the wonderful fans of Stoke City down this term. Going down will hurt us badly. Sad times

Can we do this? We have to battle hard and keep it tight at the back. Maybe some early substitutions will be coming.

We can win if we come with maximum aggression and get a bit of luck (with City having a rare off day in front of goal). If the weather is shitty and they don't really fancy it (they don't need the points and we really do) then something special could happen. I wouldn't be super shocked if we did pull off the upset. But then again 0-6 wouldn't massively surprise me either. We shall see.

This could well be THE GAME. Lose and it could kill whatever confidence the team and fans have left. Win and it could be the Launchpad to survival.

He have to keep fighting. This season has been dog shit but it's not a write off just yet. Problem is now we're going to have to win games against teams who most would expect us to lose against. We're going to have to win a few away games as well if we're to realistically avoid the drop. I hear a few people saying this one will go to the last game. Perhaps it will. But I fear for us after the last three games. If we can't have a purple patch then this will go away from us and we will be cut adrift. If the next say five or six games produce a measly points return I'd say we would probably be fucked before we go to West Ham. We would try to put a brave face on it of course, but it would be a disaster for us to go down. Sad times at Stoke.

Thought we were top draw this afternoon. Credit to Lambert and the lads for being up for the battle and showing some genuine commitment to the cause. Proud day and I hope for many more like this before the end of the season. Feeling positive about Stoke for the first time in a long time

Boxing Day 1988. Seven years old and my first time on the Boothen End. 3-1 win over City. Because I was just a kid I'm not sure if I really knew what was going on so much. Still had those horrible fan cages up back then (this would have been a few months before Hillsborough). I do remember the blow up pink panthers and the bananas One of my earliest memories of doing something where it was just me and my dad, so that stands out.

I do like Charlie Adam. Seems like a decent bloke. But we've all heard the right sort of noises coming from other Stoke players over the previous weeks and months, and yet we still witness a wank fest on the pitch. Words don't count for much if you can't back it up with action in the form of victories.

Yep 17th is more than OK with me. Could see the season going to the wire with the Palace and Swansea games being tense and nervous affairs to say the least.
