Its not that though is it We are struggling to meet FFP requirements because the stupid fuckwit was handing out stupid fucking contract deals and the club let a couple of crap managers spend the warchest on very ordinary players. So now we have shit Turkish clubs dictating to us. Its fucking shit Rotten to the core how is Scholes still in a job ? Knows where the bodies are.

Got talking about this at work today: if you were to list, in order, the worst five inter-club rivalries, specifically where the fans really hate each other with a passion beyond reason, what would be on your list. Either foreign or domestic or both. I think our top three out of both foreign and domestic came out as: 1. Celtic and Rangers 2. Fenerbahce(sp?) and Galatasaray 3. Boca Juniors and River Plate We couldn’t get a consensus on the next two, although Partizan Belgrade and Red Star, plus Barcelona and Real Madrid came close to completing the top five. Perhaps not too surprisingly, Stoke and Vale didn’t even make the top ten Barcelona-Real wouldn't even be in the top fifty. Spanish footballing rivalries are tame to non-existent. I agree on Madrid v Barca Sevlle v Betis is very tasty though.

Rival for promotion? Or genral rivalry?
Rivals has to be both ways, unless it's this season and then for me Brentford, poss Watford.
If you say Derby, they would say Forest If you say Forest, they would say Derby If you say Wolves, they would say WBA If you say Millwall, they would say WHU
If you say Vale, they would say Us. So it's Vale. Even though we aren't rivals in football terms this year.

Not sure about this, however whenever he's played against us, he's caused us problems. ( not sured if he's even scored) I always worry we have to keep the ball away from him and stop the crosses.

I have registered on this forum to vent my spleen for the most part of the total capitulation of scfc in the last 5 and 6 years, its at a point now where serious questions need to be answered by Tony Scholes or somebody at the club. And they really do need to be answered.... Tony Scholes Alledgedly - Upon relegation we offered new contracts to certain squad members to keep them on Premiership wages well other members of the team had their wages reduced? Is this true Tony Scholes and what did you expect that to achieve with regards to team spirit, morale and motivation? You would have to be stupid to believe it wouldn't have a negative effect in the dressing room and on the pitch. Alledgedly - Rumours of players contracts not being supplemented with a Win bonus, is this true? How long has that been the case, 6 years or more by any chance? I'm led to believe most clubs offer win bonus and other bonus incentives. Furthermore, add that to the first point about player contract relegation wage issues. Is this true Tony Scholes and what did you expect that to achieve with regards to team spirit, morale and motivation? Also, my own belief is that our managers are being told that certain players have to play regardless of form because they are a financial asset to the club. Is this true Tony Scholes and what did you expect that to achieve with regards to team spirit, morale and motivation? New start with O'Neill great, but if things above his control don't change, neither will we He won't care a jot about anything you put on here. Send letter to club. Though he will be able to justify all his actions, these type in people always can.

If they try to push the salary cap, it will just make a premier league 2 happen sooner.

Sankoh is considered to be one of the most outstanding talents in Dutch football. The striker, whose roots are in Sierra Leone, has been a welcome guest almost everywhere in Europe with his small army of advisors and confidants in recent weeks. When it recently became public that he had trained at Chelsea, the move to VfB seemed a long way off. But the caravan, which has also met with interest from AC Milan, Atalanta Bergamo, Tottenham and other European flagships, is now turning to Stuttgart, according to kicker information. Sankoh, who was U-17 European champion with the Netherlands in 2019 and already played in the U 19 and U 23 at Stoke, is to be introduced to the professional team via the VfB II regional league team. A talent at a bargain price. [/i][/quote] So he signed because they give him a caravan?

Isn't the line that they play for you? I wanted to kill Powell when he played for Wigan You can tell he's had schooling by Rooney and Man Utd, I don't mind him drawing fouls etc., but he does some moaning on the pitch and at the ref. Wish he'd cut that down.

Shithouse IF NEEDED all day long, i.e Liverpool and Man U particuarly away. Arsenal all the time. However Golden Rules Don't do a Eddie Howe, be a ultra shit house, and pretend your Barcelona. If guilty of shithousery. Don't complain when teams do it to you. Never dive. That great Barcelona team was a master of all aspects of football, shithousery included Yes, bad example.

No but they sound more exotic, so you'll get alot more credit with the media, and if you have a British manager with a Northern or working class accent, be happy wth all the stereotypes coming your way.

Fuck Me! MON has performed a miracle! He derserves time and it's going take plenty of it to turn this fat oil tanker around.
He need a few windows if we expect him to make a whole new team in one, we could risk the crashes as before.
The difference with MON is, I believe we'll progress whilst getting team in place.

It absolutely beggars belief that a club owned by a global tech-based company has such an utterly wank IT infrastructure. It genuinely astonishes me. Me too, you would think BET365 have the best in the business??

Having met John and Peter a few times. Forget Peter for a minute, his record speaks for it's self. My meetings (social not business) doesn't put me in a position to give my opinion on how good John is at business or running a football club. It has however allowed me to form an opinion, that John is a down to earth nice guy, that loves the club. I also believe he's see it like a true Stoke City loving fan. He may be very wealthy, but I think silver spoon is well wide of the mark. I met whole family except for Denise. They are all down to earth Stokies. Im sure he is a very decent and nice person and has the best intentions, but that does not mean he has inherited his Dads (or Sister's) understanding on how to run a business. As you about Peter, John's record speaks for it self, 4 years of failure that shows no sign of letting up. Re John, Never said it did as I don't know. Re Peter, I've watched stoke through late 80's 90's pre prem shite. What he has done for this club still deserves huge respect. Without him we'd have been scratching around the 2nd/3rd tier for last 15 years, like the period before. Which as we know, he was also part responsible for. For me he still has credit and he's still plowing cash in. Also who else is there?

Jon coates is an extension of peter coates. He is the owner of the club. He and his family have backed their managers. Unless he's interfering somehow, how is he to blame? Maybe he's not fit to run a football club. Maybe he's picked the wrong managers. Maybe he's let his CEO have too much his own way. I said a few years ago that he could be the big problem at the Club. Little junior taking over from papa. Silver spoon blah blah... Nowt like petty rich family empire building. Having met John and Peter a few times. Forget Peter for a minute, his record speaks for it's self. Right chaps, time for abit of action. 1pm down the ground on Saturday upon the players arrival, show your anger and frustration at the players. Stick your PPE on and social distance. The anger ain’t ever gonna come across sat at home, it’s time to make a stand with 6 games to go. Why further demoralise a squad obviousley lacking confidence, doing the above will almost certainly guarantee relegation. THIS PROTEST AND WE'RE DEFINATELEY DOOMED!

Well it's not contract technicalitiee they'll talk about is it. "Wow grandad you played 10 years for Chelsea you must have loads of medals, they were ace." "Well..... I only played 2 games, but I did go on loan to Stoke" "Who?" Well assuming his grandkids are Dutch, they’ll probably more interested in his two Eredivisie titles with PSV. He’s had an ok career at a good level and won a couple of medals, I think you’re fixating far too much on the fact that he happens to have been contracted to Chelsea the whole time. It obviously suits him and the club, what difference does it make. Anyway I can’t believe we’re squabbling about the content of a hypothetical conversation between Marco van Ginkel and his future grandchildren 😂[/quote Is this a 5 minute argument, or the full half hour? 😂

I understand your point, but he's being doing this for 10 years. He's not going make it at Chelsea is he? It's not like Beckham or Scholes going out on loan. He's a career loanee. He'll never feel truly part of team with what he's doing now. Might not be his attitude. May be poor advice, or just wants Chelsea wages. Either way he'll finish football without 300 apps for a club. His Wiki page will look stupid, what will he say when grandkids ask who he played for? It’s a strange way for a career to unfold. But I’d imagine his grandkids will be proud that their granddad was a professional footballer who played in several of Europe’s top leagues - I don’t suppose they’ll be too fussed about the technicalities of his contract 🙂 Well it's not contract technicalitiee they'll talk about is it. I can, because I would want play each week for the club I signed for. If that's not going happen, I'd drop a league or change country if needed and come back stronger for a different Prem club. Player's like Debruyne get it right, that's because they have brilliant attitudes to being sucessful. Dropping leagues and changing countries is exactly what he's doing - just on long loans rather than permanently, which is the way Chelsea want it. It's not like he's sitting on the bench picking up wages, I don't think it's an attitude thing at all. I understand your point, but he's being doing this for 10 years. He's not going make it at Chelsea is he? It's not like Beckham or Scholes going out on loan. He's a career loanee. He'll never feel truly part of team with what he's doing now. What an odd career this guy is having. Never close to playing for his parent club. A series of loans where the motivation to impress doesn’t seem enough. Seems a waste. A waste maybe but you can't blame him, picking up Chelsea wages for, what, nearly 10 years now? I can, because I would want play each week for the club I signed for. If that's not going happen, I'd drop a league or change country if needed and come back stronger for a different Prem club. In my opinion, he doesn't get played because of his attitude on the pitch. I sit with good view of dugout. He back chatted MON. He then did it again after not making himself available for winger, or not getting down wing or something. He gobbed back again, he was taken straight off.
