Relatively cheap, good quality squad player? 1in4 in L1, not good enough possibly? No idea as I’ve not seen him play Mr. Humpherys - he's free.

Well that final game attendance came as a surprise to all of us apart from 2 players who got 2 points for being within 500. Well done to wrighter and especially jeycov who I’m sure by her own admission has had a catastrophic season. Good to end on a high though mate😉 So many minus scores would suggest a change to the scoring system for next year is required. Full final table below 1. stokecitytalke. 20 2. westlandstokie. 19 3. mickstupp. 19 4. deeside2. 19 5. boppa74. 19 6. staffsoatcake. 19 7. wakeypotter. 18 8. thehartshillbadger. 18 9. leicspotter. 17 10. daz2631. 17 11. suck_the_mop. 17 12. 19notbeaten72. 17 13. Congratulations to stokecitytalke, you are now the proud owner of absolutely JACK SHIT. One to tell the grandkids for sure! Enjoy the Euros everyone and the all new and improved Guess the Attendance will be back in August. WOW! I can't believe I've won, especially after being over 2,000 out for the Bristol game! I've already spent the jack shit - many thanks for that. I'm in Scicily at the moment, so I'm drinking a toast (or 2!) to your good self for running the competition!

Will do again next season and will appreciate any tweaks to the current simple system. Any ideas welcome. 21 points after 22 games is relegation form so maybe a way of increasing the points Badge, many thanks for running this and look forward to next season! Just a few ideas about the scoring... Current scoring: Within 100 = 3pts Within 500 = 2pts Within 1000 = 1pt Between 1000 & 2000 = 0pts Over 2000 = -1pt Proposed scoring: Within 50 = 6pts Within 100 = 5pts Within 500 = 4pts Within 1000 = 3pts Between 1000 & 2000 = 2pts Between 2000 & 3000 = 1pt I don't like the thought of getting a minus point - would I be better off not guessing this week, at least I won't lose a point? I think that might put some people off having a guess? Feel free to ignore!

Ruddy difficult travelling to those week night games. Sky would no doubt be using red button option. No possibility of catching a few of those week day games on NOW as they don't do red button. Full Sky subscription not cheap! I've watched quite a few red button games on NOW.

Wolstanton was a two club village back in the day. Wanderers and Utd. Utd played on the lower marsh on a sloping pitch and Wanderers played on upper marsh, quagmire of a pitch, opposite the Cricketers Arms. Utd were the more successful team but both equally supported with crowds of 20-30 often attending. View AttachmentWanderers in the large check shirts I think. It may even be vs Utd because they played in maroon shirts. For those watching in black and white, Utd are in the maroon shirts! 😉

I had a perm in the late 70s. How is it working out? It's worked out now - it was 45 years ago! I was going out with a hairdresser at the time.

Ideally we can can win 3 of: - Huddersfield - Swansea - Sheff Wednesday - Bristol City - Plymouth And then hopefully some bonus points against: - Norwich - Hull - Baggies - Southampton We should be fine. The players just need to maintain the attitude and work ethic they've shown this week until the end of the season. I think we need 2 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. So - Norwich - Hull - Baggies - Southampton Defeats and the rest unbeaten with a couple of wins. Lots of teams down there have to play one another so I still think 50 points will be enough. Edit: having said all that, it wouldn't be good for moral if we lost the next 2 games!
