If we lose tonight, which I think we will, we will be in the bottom 3 obviously and I don't think this manager or the team have the balls to pull us out of the situation. We have been in the same scenario before but have somehow pulled ourselves clear, this lot don't seem up for any relegation fight.i hope I am proved wrong but the signs are not good. ....not if Huddersfield lose as well.

Folk should closely at the table and Goals For and Against. It's pretty obvious that our biggest issue so far this season is scoring goals, not conceding them. SS was very clear post-Sunderland that he wasn't concerned with the defensive side of things. His focus seemed to be all about converting chances. I was amazed he didn't think the gaping holes at FB position were a cause for concern. He just seemed to dismiss the issue and got back on to talking about attacking. Brave man! p.s. I note that the Plymouth fans when referring to SS use $$ instead. Is using SS really that bad? Just asking. I just find it quicker to write SS than Schumacher or $$. I think they now refer to him as $$ because he came to us for the money.

I did wonder how he might react if he lost a few games. He's had a short but very successful career so far, not losing many games. He is used to winning, it will be interesting to see how he copes.

I watched the Hull game and you were all over them It was the worst game of football I've ever witnessed live. The stats may say we had more corners (every one of which hit the first man) and more possession (sideways and backwards passes) but we never threatened. Genuinely disgusting performance, albeit Hull weren't much better. The worry (for me) is that this is a downward trend. We are getting worse (in terms of performance) with each game. I'm not a reactionary person, but I've seen enough in 7 games to want the bloke sacked. There's a certain manager still available who has a good record of getting teams promoted!

N'Zonzi was a Rolls Royce of a player, but still not as good as Hudson. Too early to say where Burger fits yet.

I saw that game and the incident on telly. I replayed it at least a dozen times and could not see any intent by Shawcross to hurt or injure Ramsey. I didn't see reckless play and certainly not violent play. Seemed more a matter of an unfortunate outcome for a contested ball between too very fit young men. In all honesty, I didn't see an obvious red card (but not for me to judge). And thought that it was good to get Shawcross off the pitch. The injury was horrific and Shawcross was gutted that he had inflicted it, showing his decency. Horrible situation for both players. I didn't like Arsene Wenger's reaction to the incident then or later. I was very happy to see Ramsey's recovery and return to fitness. The ref said he sent Shawcross off because it was a bad injury not for the tackle, presumably for Shawcross's protection.

Peterborough would be mad to sell any of their players now as they are second in the league - unless they are desperate for money. Doesn’t always work like that. Players may want to leave if their heads have been turned. I know, but I would think Peterborough would do everything in their power to persuade them to stay if possible.

I am totally on board with the principle of FFP. Without it success is simply something you go out and buy. And thereby lies the problem without FFP. If all 20 clubs in the Premier League spent beyond their means to achieve success, there will always be 19 clubs saddled with enormous debts that they can't afford.

I wasn't commenting on whether they deserved to be sacked, just the sheer numbers involved.
I'm pretty sure a couple deserved to be sacked !!

It's ridiculous that Saturday's game against Birmingham will mean that there will have been 5 different managers between the 2 clubs this season! Plus we are only just over half way through the season!
ps it will be 7 managers including temporary ones!

Dennis is great!
He's very passionate about Stoke and very knowledgeable having managed so many games.
He's also got a good Stoke accent "get holt of the ball"!
Makes up for Nigel's "cirtles"!

I wish they would format it in the positions they’ll play to stop everyone guessing They're listed in numerical order by shirt number.

I worked for Staffordshire County Council for 31 years drawing maps of the region. <skip loves this> Is there an online archive of the re/drawn maps and boundaries? I'm sure there must be some on the internet somewhere!
