How is him being shit down to his attitude? So it’s ok to slate the young lad for it based on fuck all but not the senior pro who doesn’t give a fuck based on years worth of performances. Standard You didn't answer the question. How is him being shit down to his attitude? Also where have I slated the young lad? You haven't got a clue why Verlinden isn't being selected but it would be sensible to assume it's for non football reasons if he is so much better than what we have.

You asked the question. The fact that you don't buy it is of no consequence. Why do you think such a talented player isn't being selected? Because the manager doesn't think his attitude or application are up to it, or doesn't think he's as talented as you do I would suspect...... The talented player question was rhetorical,I haven't seen enough of him recently to comment on his ability as others do.

That would really undermine his management credentials. I don't buy that, as manager he picks the strongest squad available to him. There's no place for that and no benefit, you put players there on merit. Not if he has a stinking attitude it isn't! Ah Vokes’ attitude when he’s waddling around doing fuck all is marvellous. Utter nonsense. How is him being shit down to his attitude?

The rumour is it's an attitude problem and the manager must feel justified in leaving him out. Why even have him on the bench then if his attitude stinks? Make a point!

I’m sorry but it’s pathetic that he isn’t getting when we look so bad going forward. He’s better than every attacker that started today. And I don’t care if he isn’t doing it in training (I think it shite anyway) because who cares when you’re watching Vokes doing this week in week out? He doesn’t need to playing yet here we are. It’s absolutely pathetic management. Not if he has a stinking attitude it isn't!

He's been fit for pretty much 4 months now. If he was putting it in in training and looking the part, MON would have played him much more by this point when you consider the minutes that yesterday's men like Vokes and Ince have had and the fact we've got all the attacking zip of a comatose gerbil Clearly there is something he doesn't like about him. The rumour is it's an attitude problem and the manager must feel justified in leaving him out.

I'd be shocked at 50k myself .However, We went balls deep for promotion under Rowet and got his main targets price irrelevant, and Ince came from premier and would of wanted similar wage ,as would Volkes, What Huddersfield paid I don't know. Too much!

Pickering made more assists than any defender in the football league last season including the premier league, and is continuing in the same vein this season. We would be bloody mental if we didn't go for him if we have the chance. He certainly has the potential to play at the highest level and I think we may struggle to match Crewes valuation of him due to ffp. Can he defend though? Yes he has good defensive stats, his weakness is that he doesn't win many aerial duels.

Well they are in a much better position financially since one of their directors was paid off last year but I seriously doubt we'd have a problem getting him for a reasonable fee. www.cheshsire-live.co.uk/sport/football/crewe-alex-director-charles-grant-17850114Hope so!

What! When Fox is injured (which he is at the moment) we have no senior player capable of playing left back properly. This means MON has been forced to move from a back 4 to a back 3 with wing backs and this is having an effect on our attacking options. We haven't played with a back 4 all season? In fact we haven't played with a back 4 under O'Neil's leadership have we? Pickering made more assists than any defender in the football league last season including the premier league, and is continuing in the same vein this season. We would be bloody mental if we didn't go for him if we have the chance. He certainly has the potential to play at the highest level and I think we may struggle to match Crewes valuation of him due to ffp.

But that ignores the facts that first MON seems very willing to back youth and second has every incentive to pick Verlinden if he improves the team. The fact he has signed a new player who appears very similar to Verlinden feels like the end of this story. He has only made 13 appearances for Stoke City, mainly as a sub and while there were a few promising signs it seems having seen him play for about 100 to 200 times more minutes than any of us on this board, MON doesn’t think he is the solution that the team needs. Time to move on I don’t think they do seem similar. Verlinden has end product. This new fella has all the question marks over him around that. And the new fella is a speed merchant, Verlinden has a turn of pace but is more about skill. They would compliment each other really well tbh. Hopefully they will get a chance tomorrow,

Verlinden is a top talent, you only have to watch the under 23's to see he sticks out like a sore thumb for being levels better than anyone else. The problem is, I can acknowledge as a fan of his that his decision making is still very haphazard and you've got to think that's the reason MON doesn't play him. That would be a sensible assumption. The manager obviously feels other players will benefit the team in a more positive way. There is no clandestine reasoning for not selecting Verlinden other than MON feeling that there are more effective players to choose from.

This was everything I'm beginning to hate about today's modern game.... The faking of being fouled!!! It seems today that nobody wants to stay on their feet, if they're struggling to keep advantage of the ball, down they go!!! There was very minimal of touches from Powell on the Bournemouth player, but because their player didn't have full control of the ball in order to clear it.... Down he went!!! It's a very poor, cheating and tedious tactic that's involved heavily in today's modern game!!! Bournemouth have never been any different have they? They employed the same tactics in the premier league conning the ref, time wasting etc. Howe has left but his sidekick is carrying on the good work.I really don't think they know how to do it any other way.

How is it? Do you not think the side I put in the OP is the one he’d pick if everyone was fit and we had a cup final tomorrow? Any changes would involve Smith or McClean. Both played. The vast majority of his best players were fit for the game tonight. I would love to know how that is bollocks. The three players missing are integral to how we play offensively and irreplaceable in our squad, losing Fletcher 25 minutes in was also a massive blow.It beggars belief that this has to be pointed out.

Your like a stuck record, and to say injuries are no excuse is simply retarded! The record is correct. And he has 8 of his best XI playing today. 9 if you want to include Bursik. Which I would. That is no excuse. Bollocks!

What a load of rubbish, anyone can see that all we need is a couple of attacking options and with Mikel, Allen and Clucas we will climb the league We’ve got an attacking option that he won’t use. He doesn’t want to win games. Your like a stuck record, and to say injuries are no excuse is simply retarded!

The sooner Vokes and Ince are gone the better. If MON persists with these duds, then he should go too. MON has had long enough to realise that the punters are dead right about these two flops. Powell is also terribly over-rated, while Clueless only plays for himself and is in his own little world. Even Mikel is over the hill and probably cashing it in on one last payday. Its always the defence that has to do the hard yards and then they get the blame when we concede. Vokes is simply, utterly useless. He plays, we lose. Simple. Nobody is daft enough to sign Vokes or Ince especially on the money they are earning and there lies the problem.

Not yet, not as goalscorers anyway. Doesn’t need to be a goalscorer just a wide player. The obvious answer is Verlinden and it’s absolutely fucking bonkers that we haven’t seen him there. Yawn!

One mistake and the usual suspects are out in force Don't know what the fuck he could have done with that cross. He certainly couldn't leave it and had to try and get something on it,just unfortunate. We need to look after the ball better than we are at the moment.

Why blow up early as we were in a threatening position. Very strange that, also the assistant has flagged us offside twice when we obviously weren't.Perhaps the refs feeling the cold.

Cousins didn’t deserve to be dropped, Thompson should have made way if Allen was starting Has he been dropped? or is he being rested due to the fact he has played alot of football recently.Think he's played every minute since Mikel was injured hasn't he?

Most people care I would have thought. We wouldn’t be 7th without them. So I care. Were would we be if we put more emphasis on winning games of football rather than just not conceding? Coventry, Derby, Shef Wed, QPR, Cardiff.. Not scoring at Coventry was due to not taking the many chances created, and in all fairness too Coventry, some manful defending. We would have beaten Cardiff but for a missed penalty and a serious injury to our leading goalscorer. We should have scored at least two at Qpr,Tymons effort was kept out by a lucky deflection off a defenders knee that hit the bar and bounced out and Powell missed a header from six yards out.To win football matches you need to keep clean sheets especially when so many of our offensive players have injuries,it has bugger all to do with not putting an emphasis on winning games. Our philosophy at the moment has to be "If you can't win then don't lose and we have done that well in recent games
