Could Sidibi do a job there? He played really well when getting picked earlier in the season. Another reason why we never should have brought Cundle in! We should rather have given Sidibe more playing time. Cundle brings nothing to the team,a totally ineffective player. So weak I think he would struggle in a Lads and Dads team.

I've got no problem with players that add more to the team that their own personal performance or goals, the biggest example being Mama. I'm surprised the ref booked him for time wasting as I thought it was his 2nd touch Why were Middlesbrough allowed to time waste throughout the first half until we scored without even a word from the ref? Their gk even took off his gloves then had to put them back on before he took a free kick. Another player had to retie his laces. I don't think refereesunderstand that wasting time isn't just a case of reducing the time the ball is in play, often a tactic used when a team are ahead but just as much about slowing down the game. It was obviously a deliberate ploy by Leeds to disrupt our impetus and flow and the ref allowed them to do it. They were time wasting when 2 down the thick fuckers.Thought they were dire in the second half.

The issue was binning Bonham off when he was doing absolutely fine….. The trouble is Bonham wasn't good enough. Hence the last two managers wanting someone else. The second bit of trouble is his replacement isn't good enough. Bonham is average, probably better than Iverson at the moment. But Bonham does have his share of calamity moments.. Your as good as your last game. The manager stated before the Leicester game that this was his chance to stake a claim.Despite losing 5 nil, none of the goals were Bonhams fault and he made 2 superb saves that saved us further humiliation. If you’re going to make these statements then stick to them. Iverson has been worse than Bonham in all areas imo.

Unfortunately I concur. The error from Hoover was obviously horrendous, but why on earth, after winning a free kick on the halfway line near the touchline, did we decide to play the ball back to our goal, instead of making them defend a ball in their half.Absolutley brainless. We only win when you’re milking🤣🤣 Fuck of you.🖕(Sideways)

Stevens is the only proper left-back we have at the club, and has generally been a complete and utter waste of a signing... He's been out with injuries more than he's been in, which makes it all the more staggering that we never brought another left-back in, the recruitment in key areas has been an absolute joke!!! Thompson has filled in a space that's not his natural position, and generally done it commendably.... Injuries or suspensions apart, I'd be tempted to keep him in the team even when (if) Stevens is back!!! Absolutely.Stevens is as slow as turning milk.

I don't like to blame refs mate but he is an absolute look at me wanker. Shouldn't be near a football pitch. He was an absolute wanker. However, we shouldn't let that cloud how utterly wank we are as a football team. Wank ref or not, we are fucking dreadful and I'll be amazed if we stay up. Unfortunately I concur. The error from Hoover was obviously horrendous, but why on earth, after winning a free kick on the halfway line near the touchline, did we decide to play the ball back to our goal, instead of making them defend a ball in their half.Absolutley brainless.

A very insular view to take. Personally I take an interest in many things and I’m fortunate enough to consider things beyond the end of my own front garden. Well if speculating what goes on in other peoples houses years after it did or didn't happen is what you take an interest in then fill your boots. Not for me. 😂😂

What talent? Ricardo Fuller always looked like, mentally, he was 5 seconds ahead of play. Campbell looks like he's 5 minutes behind and about a comfortable with a ball at his feet as he would be a rattlesnake. The two shouldn't be mentioned in the same conversation.

This argument is pointless, but can someone please remind me of the last two occasions that one of our forwards actually scored a goal. He used Brylcream and smoked a pipe And ate Shredded Wheat.

No! They didn’t pay £17 million for a player with absolutely fuck all resale value. Neither did we unless £2M was for added exaggerated effect. We paid £15M for Wimmer in a deal that could have reached £18M but didn’t. The exaggeration was certainly not for effect more of what my search engine revealed. There is no mention of £15 million with add ons so that is the figure I quoted.I also believe we got bugger all.

Is “physicality” your new thing? Gooch is nowhere a starting left back. Apart from being right footed he is not a good defender, poor at closing down see Plymouth for example. Stevens is the best left back we have. Against a team with a proper right winger, Thompson will be badly exposed - at Watford against their average winger he was constantly on the edge Steven’s isn’t available He is. Was on the bench on Saturday.

The Championship Wollscheid and Wilson. Always on the verge of a calamity, even when there's no danger. Rose a 4th Choice CB at best. Good on his day but dangerous most of the time. McNally has been a huge disappointment for me. Christ only knows what he was doing for their first yesterday. Wollschied was no where near as bad as some try to make out.Excellent in the air, could tackle and his distribution was good. The ridiculous running style was his downfall.

Didn’t work at all and I noticed Burger having a go on more than one occasion Hate saying this as they're only nippers and is it really worth moaning about but our ball boys don't seem very good. Wasn't really moaning about the ball boys, but the system of a ball in each quadrant was missing. They were pretty useless though.

Cundle and Bae were excellent in the first half but both Faded in the second half. The interplay between the two was excellent considering they haven't played together before. That can only get better. I don’t disagree and maybe as two 8’s not as Bae out wide, then there is a question over Baker but maybe due to the demands of the role, we need options in there to cover the 90 mins. We haven’t really seen Schumacher’s palms for forward and wide positions yet, so maybe Bae is filling in out wide? He made one change from the side that beat Rotherham, replacing Haskbanovic with Bae.Hask contributed bugger all at Rotherham and this was the correct decision imo. Would have been unfair to leave anyone else out tbh.Hoover maybe?

Yeah. My feeling was we needed to win yesterday to give us an outside shot at the play offs. That's an even bigger mountain now sadly. However the main aim for the rest of the season is to keep playing this front foot football and getting better at it. Top half would be a good season. Schumacher is going to keep improving us, I'm really confident about that 🙏 The problem is this run we’ve been on has only seen us win 2 games in seven, against a Birmingham team in chaos and rock bottom Rotherham. I’m not digging Schumacher here as it’s obvious he has had a positive impact I’m just saying there is a lot of work to do as our usual frailties are still apparent. I’m not sure anyone can question that? The signing of Cundle is interesting, perhaps the first decision he’s made that I’m not sure of, perhaps he plans to alternate Junho and Cundle in his high octane system once he has his targets in. I think everyone can see Junho out wide isn’t ideal and we need more support for the forward line. Cundle and Bae were excellent in the first half but both Faded in the second half. The interplay between the two was excellent considering they haven't played together before. That can only get better.

Looked great last season but failed to live up to it this one.. pity! Hopefully he can recover his initial promise given he's likely here for a while. On a side note I hope Cundle isn't one of those players that proves to be a manager's favourite for no apparent reason as he has to justify his inclusion not just have it by the default of favouritism. Thought Candle and Bae played very well together in the first half but both Faded a bit in the second. They both created plenty in the final third but it's the finishing that's our bug bare at present.

He’s top class hopefully he didn’t pick up an injury towards the end. How is it that the ref didn’t see that as a foul. The ref didn't see a lot really.Didnt see them kick the ball away twice after the whistle had gone, didn't see several fouls, and when he did he didn't see any that he deemed to be Yellow.Even pull backs when the player was in a strong offensive movement. The assistants were as usual worse than useless.

To add a bit of context, Man City U21’s are not actually very good surprisingly. They are rock bottom in 16th place of Premier League 2 with only 1 win out of 11 It's not that they aren't very good and more that their U21's team is made up of mainly u17 and u18 boys. We also fielded Campbell and Wilmot in our team last night. Tezgel and Lowe themselves are mere youngsters but going overboard because he's scored in what was effectively an u18's game is a bit daft. Is Tezgel even 18 yet? Yes Lowe is a day older than Tezgal. As you say they are still very young.Lowe won't be 19 till September 18th this year.

Rotherham being "the aggressor" all game with 0 shots on target? I dont know what game he watched. Must be salty.
Thought he summed things up pretty well tbh. There seems to be a bit of discussion regarding the free kick award, but it was a clear pull back on Thompson by Clucas.

Comments from Spiderpuss: "do one". Sadly a player that sums up the modern era and what we saw in the Chelsea side last night. Tattoos and hair-dos but little else. Makes you appreciate the Salah's and Bellingham's of the world doesn't it.Some of today's players are so bloody vane. When they walk out on the pitch,I sometimes ask myself "Am I at a football match or a fashion parade"

I blame the bloke who signed him, and the people who sanctioned the deal. You didn't have to even scratch the surface to find out what kind of character this waster had. Yep! Due diligence was sorely lacking in this instance,to the point of negligence.

I’d dock him a point for keeping Wesley on the pitch for as long as he did. The plan was to stay in the game which we did for 80 mins until their 3rd goal so it’s a solid 7.5/10 from me….. I'd agree mate but as static as Wes is he had more movement in him than Mmaee. Mmaee was dreadful today.

If the only alternative is Johnson for the Rotherham game then he needs to start….. It’ll be Thompson if anyone. Gooch and Stevens maybe back too? Neither will be available on Saturday according to the manager.
