All things considered it was the injury wot done it for him. He’s never got remotely close to that one good season he had for us People forget the quality of the defence protecting him at the time too. Never managed to improve on his distribution either. Useless at kicking but I struggle to recall him being able to throw the ball out either. If he had stuck to Rugby his kicking would have been faultless.

It was evident he still believed he was a Premiership goalkeeper. He either doesn’t realise or doesn’t wish to acknowledge just how far his stock has fallen. Premiership his first interview at Palace he was wittering on about England like he hadn't just spent 12 months finding new and ingenious ways to let the ball into the net. The other keepers are out of contract so he will likely start as number 2 next year but he really needs to concentrate on getting into the palace team and forget about England, I hope he manages too turn his career around as he does seem a genuinely decent guy. I don't think his long time girlfriend/fiancé who he cheated on would agree with you there.

Have the club revealed the nature of the Collins injury and return date or is it 'Top Secret' like the Campbell injury? Fractured metatarsal apparently.Campbell has articular cartilage damage.I've read it somewhere so it's hardly top secret. Just because they are professional footballers, they are still entitled to confidentiality with regards to medical issues, and if they choose not to disclose the exact nature of an injury then that's their perogative.

I've no idea but its just weak as piss stuff and just daft. Its Cameron Jerome I’ve just seen his incisive punditry Can't believe the comment "Fair play to Naughton" How the fuck can he be giving praise to a cheat, personally I think simulation is disgraceful and these cheats should be villified not praised.Cunt!

Clever from Swansea player ..I wish brown could make runs in behind like that and give the referee a decision to make If a Stoke player did it he would be booked.

How the fuck didn't the Sky interviewer not even mention it when speaking to Steve Cooper? The pundits couldn't even admit it was a dive and obviously wasn't a penalty.

You're not seriously using 1 appearance in an end of season Premier League game to prove he's Championship material !? Honestly, I want every young player we've got to come through and be an asset for us, but sometimes we've not got much other than wishful thinking to go on. Players can always develop and prove you wrong, but if he's not starting regularly for a League One side at 21, I think the chances of him making it here are slim. I don't think there's objective evidence to prove it one way or the other. So it's going to be up to the manager if he wants to use him or not. It sounded as if he wanted to in pre season but then Mikel arrived and he changed his mind. Now I'm a Mikel fan, but there's a fair few on here who will question whether that was a wise decision. You don't know what's going on inside the club he's loaned to, but you can look at some of the loan players we've had in recent years. Take Hogan for instance. He never established himself here, but as soon as he left, he kept scoring. He hasn't been getting in the starting line up since they signed Surman from Bournemouth in January. Don't know if that's a fair comment on his progress.

Martin O'Neill swapped Mike Sheron for Keith Scott. Yes but he didn't run like a big girls blouse! Well no! He just didn't run.

Mate of mine simmilar Got it in May last year, was on a ventilator. Got through that. Then in again with long covid. Now has heart failure. It's a real fucker. I got my vaccine Thursday... Diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis on Friday loads of hospital appointments now coming up, managed to get myself booked in tomorrow lunch time for the first jab, had to sort it myself our GP surgery have been fcuking wank, 5 doctors in the building 4 receptionists on desk appointments are over the phone, waited 40 mins. from 8am trying to get through to book an appointment cut off twice got through to be told no appointments left, had to be booked in with an out of area practice who actually sorted out blood tests and x rays within days, I have a good mind to sue the fcukers for negligence. Every sympathy with you mate,I was diagnosed about five years ago and it was a real struggle until my medication was sorted and started to work.God knows how I would have coped with all this disruption. It's an illness that can really test your patience at the beginning, but you just have to stick with it,and I'm doing fine now. You will get really good advice, and there are plenty of good forums for fellow sufferers. You can always Pm me if you need an ear.

I don't think , if available , he would come . The financial mismanagement of Stoke city is off the scale ,epic . Not since Peter Risdale went loony at Leeds United has anyone created a financial mess on the scale of Stoke city . If there is an FFP clampdown we are absolutely totally F#cked . If the FFP rules stay the same ( best case scenario) we are up to our necks in it If the EFL completely scrap FFP and write to Denise to tell her , she can give as many millions as she likes to Stoke city , no questions asked ( zero probability ) then we are just about okay , if we can arrange for some shady geezer to make about dozen unwanted footballers disappear . Slaven Billic knows this , everyone in football knows this , he won't be coming. Is Billic really that good? He certainly hasn't done too much of late, has he? Sacked at West ham and only got promoted because of Brentfords capitulation.

Just looked like a good goal to me. If we had a striker on form we wouldn't be doing to bad. Very true Campbell’s injury has cost us massively.

Chester and Batth way more at fault. They were like the fucking chuckle brothers. Souttar poor for it for sure but MOM to that point imo. Souttar was superb,Tymon was nowhere to be seen on our left defensively, and in hindsight it was worth risking a red card for ND rather than replacing him with the invisible man.Awful player and getting worse by the match.

They were and Ronnie Moore ex manager was one of them.I wonder what the Luton fans thought of our commentary yesterday with moaning Mick and bumbling Nigel. Ronnie Moore is a scouser. Wasn't him. Sorry,it was Les Payne,Matt Goodwin and John Breckin.Ronnie Moore was mentioned and assumed it was him.

He was pretty toss and low on confidence Strange when we have the much better Clarke on the bench. Whats up with that? From what we've seen Clarke isn't any better. Brown can at least stand up against a challenge and his use of the ball is no worse than we've seen from Clarke. Granted his first touch can be a touch <ahem> heavy, but the way some folk can't wait to pile in at the first glimpse of anything less than perfect is a bit sad. We have won convincingly and I think it's strange that straight after the game someone can't wait to reopen a thread to lay into him.

See he’s done his customary fuck up and goal gift today. Hopefully he is gone for good in the summer as he can not be anywhere near the first team. He's wank. File in the same folder of wankness as Lee Gregory and Ryan Woods. You don't rate him then!

He's bloody quick as well for his size, those long legs of his don't half cover the ground. He's so comfortable on the ball too, what an asset he has become. I was thinking the same when one of theirs knocked it past him and tried to go around, I just hope he finds his feet in the oppo half, he realy should be dominating more on corners. Agree, but tonight I thought our corners were mostly bloody awful, and I was hopeful that Thompson would have put more good deliveries in tonight than he did.

Souttar motm all day long, but Brown did improve massively in the second half and actually looked a little like a footballer in the end. He's bloody quick as well for his size, those long legs of his don't half cover the ground. He's so comfortable on the ball too, what an asset he has become.

I really like the look of Norton, getting stronger by the week, got a bit of Powell about him. He could quite easily replace Vokes on the bench. A traffic cone could replace Vokes.

Interesting. He seems to have a good record of 1 in 2, even though lower lower level. Mark Stein scored a shed load of goals in the 3rd division and went on to do it in premier league. Ivan Toney scored shed loads of goals in the 3rd division. He's now doing it in the championship and he'll go on to do it in the premier league. A good scout will know the limits of a player. I know nowt of jephcott but my miserable Plymouth supporting pal thinks he's the best player they've had for as long as he can remember, probably since Tommy Tynan That's some statement Graham Taylor described Tynan as the best finisher he had ever seen,if he's as good as him and we get him it's happy days. Two bloody big ifs though.

Not agreeing or disagreeing mate, I'm just saying how it is for me and giving the op my take on things. If he chooses to stop watching that's his peErsonal choice and absolutely nothing to do with me.The fact he started the thread suggests he wants a conversation on the subject. But honestly. I wish I could stop watching. But I can't... Explain? Passion mate!

Unfortunately I can't have that mindset, come Tuesday I'll be sat in front of the screen desperately hoping for a win.Rinse and Repeat, I've been watching Stoke long enough to know nothing comes easy with us and if I was watching for pure entertainment value I would have stopped forty odd years ago. Isnt the fact that you are 'hoping' for a win against a team with -12 points at the beginning of the season and no money spent an indication that you actually agree though??? We shouldn't be hoping, more expecting and stained with anything but. Instead we are going to watch 'in hope' that we can avoid defeat against the mighty... Sheffield Wednesday... Who themselves have had 3 managers this season Not agreeing or disagreeing mate, I'm just saying how it is for me and giving the op my take on things. If he chooses to stop watching that's his personal choice and absolutely nothing to do with me.The fact he started the thread suggests he wants a conversation on the subject.

If anyone says anything other, they are lying. In the past dozen games only Blackburn away were we remotely decent. MON football is officially now dreadful. Not sure he knows how to stop this poor run. I hope Stoke manage to stay up but it’s not only dreadful football, it’s relegation form.
