Whilst this is class.
I do feel especially since Bursik has come in I do feel MON has set the team up to protect him somewhat which has helped, does this include some of Butlands games too?
A great achievement none the less and shoes we are definitely on the right path.

It's about context.
With the situation MON inherited, and the current injury crisis, it's hard to be too critical of the manager. If the opposition don't score we don't lose. Stats are not the be all and end all of footie, but MON's current stats are very encouraging
As the 'journey' continues I am sure that all of us would be looking for a more expansive set up, with more goals for and better entertainment...I genuinely feel that this will come. Initially as players return from injury and, hopefully, more consistently if we can add some pace to the squad in January
Roll on 2021!

Clean sheets in 11 of 20 league games so far this season. Wonder what the record for a season is 🤔
Also got to the quarters of the cup without conceding a goal too.

Given how brittle our defence has been in recent years, its great to see!

Hwo gives a shite about clean sheets if we aren't winning very winnable games?
People are getting carried away with these clean sheet stats..

If you keep regular clean sheets and create great chances without hitting the target it’s easy to see what we need in January. MON is certainly no mug so I would expect to see a couple in if we can offload some of the deadwood...

I really hope we aren’t looking at these binary results in May and thinking what might have been.

I can accept a 0-0 as long as it’s because of injuries and doesn’t become Habitual
Fine, injuries in key areas I get it, but when we start getting players back... not being able to pass through the team will become increasingly more unacceptable
Pulisball without the target man is not something we should be aiming for

Coventry, Derby, Shef Wed, QPR, Cardiff.. We did try to to win the game today. Our finishing wasn’t up to much. Are you trying to say we’re the only club in the land who don’t put emphasis on not conceding. Just one of them days. Again I agree. I just find it all very frustrating to be honest.

Yes we did try to win the game. But agree we didn’t force it enough once the clock was ticking down and didn’t introduce enough.

Take today and Shef Wed, teams that were there for the taking if we showed even a modicum of attacking thought . If we'd of lost those games we'd be 2 points worse off and in no danger of those teams catching us. Win those games we'd be joint 3rd. Risk worth taking.

I’ll agree there that those should be won but we had golden opportunities today but it just didn’t come off.

All these 0-0s will achieve is safety - and I understand that's no bad thing based on the shite we've endured 12+ months ago .... but let's not kid ourselves that it's the kind of results that an aspiring promotion side should be happy with.

Not half way yet and a window and injuries to clear up. Is nice to be in the mix for the first time but you're right
