we just sacked a bloke that would virtually guarantee a draw at Liverpool... How would a draw have been virtually guaranteed? There is of course absolutely no knowing what the result would have been otherwise. It's pure conjecture. Looking at it solely on its merits, we were beaten by a better team today who were bang on form Virtually guaranteed a draw, ..........look at the stats against Liverpool whilst under Pulis I thought Liverpool played really well and we were lucky to only have 1 put past us.......thank you Mr Begovic you were outstanding, I thought we were wasteful with the chance to take a point when it was presented in the 88th minute, and Liverpool playing well against Stoke are hardly Bang on form, it was first match of the season the same as ours with a team gelling.

I thought Pieters at Leftback was one of the brightest spots of the afternoon, not knocking Wilson at all as I thought he was supurb at LB but it was nice to see & know that we have a LB that wants to play LB and a midfielder that looked as comfy in his role knowing that is where he wants to play.......
Personally I think Pieters could go on to be a massive crowd favourite based on the second half performance.

As I mixed and chatted to the fantastic Stoke support yesterday on a pre-match piss-up around Liverpool the same old question was asked time after time followed with the same old answer...... Q - "how do you think we will do today" A - "My head says we will get dicked but my heart is hoping for a draw, it is probably the best we can expect here today" Well guess what, we just sacked a bloke that would virtually guarantee a draw at Liverpool because he played for a draw away from home. I suppose we lost looking a little bit prettier in the Liverpool siege so it keeps the ugly football critics off our back. On to Palarce then.

Best part of the game for me was the women firing tee shirts into the crowd at half time.........
Come on Stoke bring it on, get some classy Longton type birds in hot pants walking around the pitch throwing tee shirts.

If Beggo wants to go let him, I cant blame him for being ambitious and wanting to play for a succesful team that continually wins major honours, lets be fair he will win the square root of fuck all here at Stoke,.............
Plus.........
......Some of you on here have a short memory, he had not been playing for Stoke long when rumours circulated that Chelsea were interested, next thing he does not want to play for the club away at Shrewsbury on Tuesday night as his head was not right and Tommy stands in for him, then this year just after Christmas Beggo goes through what I would class as his his worst period between the sticks whilst playing for the club, just around the winter transfer deadline closing date.....coincidence, err no I don't think it was....winkey smiley thing goes some where around here.
For me he can go for both reasons, one because I am greatful that he is one of the most outstanding young keepers in the modern game and he played for my beloved club and deserves success, and the other reason that he played for my beloved club but had his head turned...Twice......another winkey smiley thing goes here.

Thats rich, get back to supporting the club...........a club that has been well supported over the last 5 years, a club that has enjoyed the best spell in its history, a club that was being run on an even keel since promotion, a club that has had some of the best players in its modern history wearing the red and white stripes, a club that was getting more media attention in a month than it would previously receive in a year, a club that has seen its world wide image grow, a club that supplied its longer serving glory starved fans a little taste of success, a club that has been tainted and torn apart by infighting amongst supporters due to the vocal minority.
Yeh lets get back to supporting the club......some of us never have stopped believe it or not.

Im Loving this,
when I said that all this non renewal bollocks can not be blamed just on Tony Pulis or his brand of footy, and I stated that people were using renewal figures to back up their argument for a change of manager and to force the issue, plus I also highlighted reasons for people not renewing such as uncertinty of prem football and the likes I was told by RAF it was "pure speculation"

Well with the man who allegedly held back our season tickets sales now departing, a chance has arisen for all the protesters who haunted the message board with the gloomy outlook that they would not renew until Pulis has gone......your time has come, get yourself down that ticket office and buy with confidence boys, all the bored kid stories, all the hoofball accusations, stubbornness & the lack of ideas analogies have now been removed, your wish has come true………watch them ticket sales soar.
I think the theme was along the lines of 18K this year early bird……… 22K last year, go get em and fill ya boots yall your arguments and stumbling block has been removed
loads of Winkey smiley things go along here

Sorry but I just think some stoke fans on here are so deluded its fucking frightening, I cant disagree with the comments on the flavour of Football served up but bearing in mind we are currently 12th in the premier league.....just where would you expect Stoke to be to have achieved your expected finish. Aah the good old 12th position Top toeing of the party line mozz but you missed ffs off the end His time is up mate Come on Fish, you know my thoughts our Tones a demi god of the footballing world.....seriously if the game was being played in the manner that you want so we win some away and we win some at home by playing open attacking football, where in the grand scheme of things do you honestly expect Stoke to finish in that league, if we finish 12th is that a disgrace if so where is your expectations.....top 8 finish, 4 places different, I don't think so. I am more than happy with the position just unhappy with the journey we took to get there, facts are facts mate, we are currently 12th and that is no disgrace.

If they announced before the game that Pulis was leaving, would you stay? No mate I wouldn't. Can't be doing with it. What is their to applaud? A manager who I can't stand, players on tens of thousands a week who don't give a shit? IMHO the club has under achieved this season playing some of the worst footbll ever seen in the top flight. Sorry but I just think some stoke fans on here are so deluded its fucking frightening, I cant disagree with the comments on the flavour of Football served up but bearing in mind we are currently 12th in the premier league.....just where would you expect Stoke to be to have achieved your expected finish.

I saw him running down the stairs shouting but obviously didnt know what as I'm in the boothen. I noticed there was a gang of about 6 lads that ran after him! Dead hard lads 6 on 1! Wonder if anyone will own up who they are because they're obviously pussys I have a feeling that you may be jumping to conclusions, I THINK the 6 lads were more intent on confronting the stewards that were arguing and shepherding the lad away in the tunnel leading to the concourse, I got the feeling that they were going to chuck him out for his outburst and aggressive demeanour towards the other fans that shouted him down, very possibly the 6 lads that indeed followed him out......it may be me who is wrong though as although I sit very close to the incident I had no interest to watch it any further.

He got a lot of booing & jeering when he started to shout Pulis out from the immediate areas that could hear him, the more I see and hear the more I think that the majority of supporters want to give Tone more time.....other than on here of course the home and voice of the Pulis out brigade.
I dont think his one man protest carried any cause to be fair as I thought he made himself look a bit daft, he carried his rant on way to long after he had made his point, he should have started it at the bottom of the stairs, said his piece and moved on.

Thank god the lyrics are very limited to that little ditty or Fail classic as they like to call it, looking at the majority of that unfortunate gathering of lost and destitute souls they would struggle with anything requiring a higher IQ than is required for a pre school nursery rhyme.
Steino diving .............. fuck me these were the days of Neil "the hatchet man" Aspin leading the Fail rear guard, no need to dive when that cart horse was playing.

Don't fool yourself in to thinking for 1 minute as them scruffy retard bastards want anything other than pain, misery and suffering for Stoke City FC, they have more loathing in their hearts for Stoke than they do love for the Vale, they don't even like mentioning that Vale are based in Stoke on Trent as it uses part of our name, they will happily tell you how they want us relegated, how they enjoyed watching us lose the FA cup, how the best part of their history was when they were TOP team in the potteries...............
Fuck em, unwashed inbred bastards, the sooner Fail park becomes an Aldi the better

Mozzer I know what you mean but some people don't like the truth,i have no problem with people saying sales are down that is fact, but it is also fact that they went up after 2008 so we still have a bigger fan base than before attending matches. Another point to keep in mind is that the numbers would have been higher if Stoke had been guaranteed Premier league football before the early bird closing date but as it stands we could still get relegated...... If we had won against West Brom, although mathematically we could still be relegated it would have swung a few more to renew.

Stoke city have sold 16500 season ticketsfor the 2013-2014 season that is an increase of 300% since season 2007-2008. Be Careful Farmer, you are going against the official Oatcake message board party line, any more of these types of comments and you will get the more radical activists getting you removed from the party

Very constructive...I can tell the schools are closed, who helped you to put that together...your nana But he's right tho isn't he! Why did you bugger off after Boskamp? He achieved roughly the same as Pulis did the season previously with a far smaller starting squad. After all its not about performances, or whether you like the manager, it's about results. Isn't it? I didnt say I buggered off...where did I say that then, point me in the right direction, What I meant to say was ......oh in a minute......thats exactly what I did fucking say.

Christ on a bike, doom gloom and misery, I have never seen so much pain and woe from supporters of a team not positioned in a relegation spot, half the Johnny come lately on here don’t know what a truly woeful Stoke team performance is all about, anyone under the age of 16 has never seen a bad season and anyone under 18 can’t remember one, yes we are not hitting the perceived entertainment value of the majority of supporters but the majority of whom would drift into the wood work if we started to score goals and become happy clappers, that’s the fine difference with a Tony Pulis side, same performance but win the game everyone’s smiling, draw or lose the game everyone’s bleating fuck all about the performance it is the result that matters, of course people want to be entertained including me but its football and nothings guaranteed, Tony Pulis should be held as a legend for what he has given Stoke/me in a painful football following career not hounded through the door like an antichrist to the game. To be honest I really hope the people who are stating that they are not renewing don’t as Stoke has always been a club with supporters not fans..and there is a difference, if you don’t like it don’t go you won’t be missed by me, I had enough under Boskamp and didn’t renew the year after you pays your money and takes your choice, I quite enjoyed having a row/block to myself when we got the 12K week in week out before the hangers on/premier league mercenaries appeared. I can’t believe we were not the best supported team in the lower leagues with 20K plus week in week out as I am yet to meet one of the glory hunting Jonny come lately as they all profess to being a stoke supporter for years, I dare say if Tony Pulis walks at the end of the season and we go down next season most will blame Pulis for the disaster This club has never been better placed, financially and securely, it won’t be Tony Pulis that will kill this club............ Another argument based on nothing but lazy 'johny come lately' stereotypes. Bore off. I did make a pact with myself not to reply to the posts that were the typical shit spouting bloatcake posts but here goes Not Lazy, not an argument......just my opinion which I know to be true, half the ground was empty week in week out when in the lower leagues, we hit premier league status and the grounds full every week.......johnny come fucking latelys...like it or not .......simples 8-12K average season at Vic, 12-16K on a good season at the Brit, premier league 22K+ errrm, perhaps they miscounted on previous years then. Same as I say it wont be Tony Pulis that rips this club apart, be careful what you wish for, we all wish for better and if change is required to get it so be it but an active movement to force the issue, leaving when we are half way through the second half, booing the team, cheering substitutions, chanting players names on the bench is neither positive or encouraging and when the club is back to where it was, skint, lower league status, no coverage or publicity, who will be there week in week out, NOT the johnny come fucking latelys thats for sure.......PVFC starve em out anyone. As for hypocrisy....I am not slating anyone for not renewing, as I say you pays your money you takes your choice, I did the same for a season, I didnt shout it from the roof tops my choice...still went the games I wanted saying that, what I am saying is that I am quite happy that the people advertising their intentions are not renewing, I couldn't give a flying fuck what they do I just wish they would go away as quietly as they jumped on the band wagon, I know there are people who have been loyal to the club for years who are sick to the back teeth of how we are playing, friends included but these are not the ones making a big song and dance about not renewing, sad day etc, well I have made the decision etc, Blah Blah blah, the larger majority of loyal long serving suporters WILL be renewing and WILL be hoping for change of play, myself included. One thing is for sure, the silent majority are here for the long haul and we wont rip the heart out of the club we love whilst we wait for what we hope for, season ticket holders or not. Stoke till I Die.
