Well with the man who allegedly held back our season tickets sales now departing, a chance has arisen for all the protesters who haunted the message board with the gloomy outlook that they would not renew until Pulis has gone......your time has come, get yourself down that ticket office and buy with confidence boys, all the bored kid stories, all the hoofball accusations, stubbornness & the lack of ideas analogies have now been removed, your wish has come true………watch them ticket sales soar.
I think the theme was along the lines of 18K this year early bird……… 22K last year, go get em and fill ya boots yall your arguments and stumbling block has been removed

Let' see the moaners put their money where their mouths were. I somehow doubt it. This time it won't be the right manager excuse.

Yes, it'd be great for there to be a big post-Pulis bump in sales. Show the board our support. They must be feeling a little anxious.

This is something I've been meaning to put up for a while. There were 100's of "I'm not watching any more of this shit till he's gone"
Well come on. Get down there. I'm going give the box office a call, ask how busy it is. I expect it'll be pandemonium.

A bloke at work hasn't renewed,he was one of the "when Pulis goes I will renew" brigade. When questioned this morning he is now "I'll wait & see who they replace him with"!

One thought on the subject of season ticket sales that occurs.
I would imagine that the falling sales in the early bird window was one of the factors the Coaters family will have noted when debating the rights and wrongs of replacing the manager.

I think half the folk in here claiming not to have renewed did. And most of the others never had one in the first place
Now the prices have increased the ones that didn't will claim poverty.
When in fact this seasons ticket sales are a closer representation of future season ticket sales. The premier league novelty has well and truly left by mutual consent.

I'll be honest, last night i was looking on SCFC direct for prices however they still have early bird prices on there. Does anyone know when they are back on sale and where i can find a price guide?
Me and my mate promised we would jump back on ship if were to go, exciting times!

The problem a lot of those fans now face is, the early bird price promotion has gone. Perhaps the club could do a small 7 day promotion dropping prices close to the early bird to see what reaction it brings.

And if they have any sense they will do whatever it takes to get those fans (and more) back on board ASAP. I wonder if, once the new manager is appointed, it is too much to hope that they'll have another week of early bird sales? EDIT: I see the poster above has had the same idea.

Under Financial Fair Play rules - if there is a resurgence in season ticket sales - wouldn't it be prudent to now go ahead with the corner extension and possibly raise our income level a stage further.
If we did increase income we could invest a bit more on players.

As I posted at the time I didn't renew because of the manager/style of play. I fully expected to take the hit on the increase in price when they went back on sale and run the risk of losing 'my seat' , not get a seat at all or have a season off.
Now I'll renew. Just want to know when they go back on sale - anyone any idea?

I'm sure that'll be now back on the cards for next summer dependant on any surge in sales, too late in the day for it to be this summer now.

Aside from the comments of those whose financial security is secure , there are many thousands who regardless of who the manager is , simply cannot afford to watch their beloved club. Many of these people would love to watch their favourite football club but sadly can't due to the ridiculous price of tickets. One matchday ticket represents half the food bill for many young couples and if you've got young kids , then it's virtually impossible.
There's many on here who live in a financial 'bubble' that is a world away from what is the reality for many Potteries families.

If you take into account the price for going to a match against what you could do with your family for that money its just not viable in any way for most

Totally not because of the finance lost btw but because of the image problem it presents for the brand bet365

If we appoint Martinez, save yourselves some money and, buy one of those half-season tickets because our season won't start 'til March.

That's not the same as the 'i'm not going while Pulis is there' brigade, don't be surprised if we don't sell many more season tickets.

Good More or less immediately, there was a lot of excitement on here after to 2 good "have a go" performances at Chelsea and Man. Utd., and I seem to remember that we were virtually safe come Christmas. Short memories some people. Pulis has left the building, onwards and upwards with Martinez or Hughes,eh?

Im Loving this,
when I said that all this non renewal bollocks can not be blamed just on Tony Pulis or his brand of footy, and I stated that people were using renewal figures to back up their argument for a change of manager and to force the issue, plus I also highlighted reasons for people not renewing such as uncertinty of prem football and the likes I was told by RAF it was "pure speculation"
