Is there any topic you won’t crowbar back to Alex Neil or Stoke, Benj? It’s a simple fsct and very rarely will you see me criticise the club off the field orvtte owners but Neil remains a huge issue When's your birthday benji? Maybe you could treat yourself to a new keyboard? The one you have must have about 15 keys missing?

Hate pens they’re brutal. Never fair. The playoffs should never be decided by penalties. In my opinion there is an obvious solution when a play off match finishes level - the team who finished higher in the league go up. At least today the right team went up. Imagine if Coventry had gone up on penalties having finished ten points behind. That would have been brutal on Luton I love penalties. I hate it when someone wins in extra time and deprives us all of penalties 😩.

I see nothing in Bursik to think he will get anywhere near the top. Any shot near to the corner he cant seem to reach or stop. Unless he is going to grow 4 more inches or have some springs implanted into his legs he will never save those shots. We should get rid of him otherwise it will become Butland all over again. Maybe if he starts afresh at a lower league he might get some confidence, but it will not happen while he is at Stoke. Totally agree. He's simply not very good. It's a shame, but that's that.

A lot of chat about the Morecambe game so thought I'd have a look to see how we've faired in cup competitions under Michael. Since then: 19/20 FA Cup - Brentford (ch) Loss 20/21 League Cup - Blackpool (L1) Win, Wolves (PL) win, Gillingham (L1) Win, Aston Villa (PL) win, Spurs (PL) loss 20/21 FA Cup - Leicester City (PL) loss 21/22 League Cup - Fleetwood (L1) Win, Doncaster (L1) Win, Watford (PL) win, Brentford (PL) loss 21/22 FA Cup - Leyton Orient (L2) win, Wigan (L1) Win, Crystal Palace (PL) loss So I make that: PL - 3 wins, 4 losses Championship - 1 loss League One - 5 wins 1 draw League Two - 1 win 9 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw. (Nearly half games against PL opposition) Before Tuesday the last time we were knocked out by lower league opposition was: Nathan Jones - League Cup v League 2 Crawley (19/20) Gary Rowett - FA Cup v League 1 Shrewsbury (18/19) Mark Hughes - FA Cup v League 2 Coventry (17/18) Mark Hughes - League Cup v championship Bristol City (17/18) Youd nearly think that O'Neil has made a habit of losing to lower league opposition in the cup reading on here. I hope we can keep you as a stokie gawa whenever it may be that Michael moves on. I really hope he succeeds and I really like his personality. And I enjoy reading your posts and pretty much agree with what you have to say. Yeah, just hope the stoke bug has bitten you mate. 👍

There are 3 sides miles better than everyone else (the current top 3). After that there's a scramble for 3 places between a lot of average sides, who are all going to drop plenty of points. We've had a bad week but we're still in with a decent chance of getting one of those spots, even with the flaws we have. Sorry trousers, tonights sessions on here hace been booked by the knicker wetters. I think the more patient and sensible posters will be welcomed back in a couple of days. 👍

Bayern, christhepotter, boskampsflaps, wearestoke80, theonlooker, questionable... They'll be back after the next loss/draw. Oh absolutely, and biscuits. Just another excellent by product of a great win is being spared their ridiculous physcobabble. Win win.

Oh God we did last night. No. 9/11 players that started last night we had last season and there was no excuse for the shite he produced in it. If anything it reinforced my point about what the real issues were. Thankfully he’s chanced tact. I have no idea if you have ever taught or coached or run a business but, having done all three, my experience is progress is never in a straight line and success requires analysis, planning and execution and most importantly, time. Having stabilized things, MON and team had to take time to assess the squad, develop a playing style, work to develop the players for the system (yes Smith, Tymon, Brown and Thompson were here last season but coaching has massively improved them and Allen is in a new role) and identify and recruit new players working with huge financial constraints that clever work by the CEO eased this summer using the Covid exemptions on FFP - he couldn’t get the players he wanted as his excellent recruitment this season shows. You and many others ignored the impact of losing Campbell and the volume of injuries after Christmas and were calling for his head (when you were not writing off half the team that started last night). The question you should have been asking all last season was “is there a better manager for this club given the circumstances we are in?” The answer than, as now, was no. How far we will go remains to be seen but we will achieve our potential under MON, something we haven’t done for a long time Bang on the money. Excellently put Chiswick.

I think they’ll be too strong for us tomorrow night, we saw what they did too Cardiff so we’ll have to be switched on. They’re backed by over 3000 in the away end so that’ll also give them a boost. Thanks for your insight 🤣 He'll have gone to bed in a rayt mood. Ha good

The next five games will tell us an awful lot about the progress or not we have made was Fulham genuinely a one off galant world beaters or have jaws jait knocked over two or three slow starters The next five show when www air against our peer groups form last season amd that’s a very fair lot so test of ate we set for a season fo progress or another meander to 55 points or so Tomorrow isn’t gong to define anything and it’s a very right game after an international break but 5 games against our peers will tell us a lot 6 points or less as we were 8 or more real progress for me Say what now?
