Time for West Brom to lose a match.
Time for bet365 to be the 12th man.
Time for some shots to go in instead of wide or straight at the keeper.
Time to lift our game and play to our full potential.

Davies
Smith Ostigard Souttar Wilmot Tymon
Allen Powell Vrancic
Brown Fletcher
If Fletcher isn’t fit enough to start I’d be tempted to play Powell up front and bring Tymon into midfield with Doughty coming in at left wing back.

Interesting selection really, especially coming off a very decent performance.
You'd think he'd be tempted to chuck Fletcher and Allen straight back in, but it might be a step too far after 2 or 3 weeks with no proper training. Thompson didn't do too much wrong. And Surridge looked a bit brighter in his cameo. He must be tempted to give Doughty a go in a 3-game week too, who must be getting a tiny bit pissed off, as well as Tymon is doing.

I would be tempted to play Brown & Surridge for this one, West Broms 2 CB's are big tall lumps and would look to exploit the space down the sides of them. Doughty must be chomping at the bit, tempted to push Tymon inside and play Doughty in Tymons spot out wide..

Be interesting see how they go on against us with their headless chicken press they play with their 3rd game in a week. Pass through that and we could open them up. Keep the ball as much as possible and let the pillocks do what they do and chase after it all night.

Sounds like Campbell is on the bench. MoN specifically said TOB is off to play with the U23s as he needed more minutes. To be fair MoN is normally really careful on what he says and doesn't say. Previously both have been described together.

I've got a good feeling that we'll get a win tomorrow.
I'm looking forward to a decent atmosphere as well. Friday night against the Baggies under the floodlights is sure to stretch a few vocal chords.

Thought we were a lot better the other night than people on here are making out. Same team apart from Allen for Sawyers for me.

Tomorrow should see the return of Matt Clarke (who was excellent before he did a hamstring back in August) who will make it 3 big tall lumps. If he doesn't play the third CB will be Townsend, who does not meet the big tall lump template, as he normally operates as the left wing back. The LWB role will be given to Reach.

Watershed moment, last year against the top teams we had to score 3 to stand a chance of getting a result(win/draw). Against Fulham this year we conceded 3 and it could have been 10 if we were honest. Lots saying after our performance against Barnsley and Preston that it is play-offs at the worst, in fact, one or two from Preston thought Stoke were the best team they had played this year. Be an interesting game, can we keep them to less than 2 goals, and more importantly will we compete or be totally outclassed. I am going for 3-2 to WBA going into the last minute and then 2 goals for Powell in the last minute - history to repeat itself

We’re more than a match for them footballing wise.
But I think we’ll get beat by set pieces.
They are very dangerous from corners and set pieces and I don’t think we’ll be able to curtail that for 90 mins.

I'd like to see Davies replaced by Bursik. Didn't like the way he played out from the back against Preston and I thought Bursik would have stopped the Free Kick.
Having said that, this is as exciting a game we have anticipated since being in the Prem. Only wish I was across the pond to see it live with fellow Stokies. I'll be cheering from just outside Toronto. Go Arnnn Stoke!

I think they’ll be too strong for us tomorrow night, we saw what they did too Cardiff so we’ll have to be switched on. They’re backed by over 3000 in the away end so that’ll also give them a boost.

Blackburn put 5 past Cardiff game before. West Brom good at what they do. Hardly miles ahead of us in the table

How do you Brazilians feel about going all "caveman". Lepowski must be doing his nut or would he rather be promoted than play like Brazil these days?

It's funny to see teams changing their approach to games to avoid the frenetic press, but there is more to Ismael's tactics than emulating Our Tone's long throws and set pieces. The Capped One would be truly appalled to see the number of Albion players that join in attacks. The current WBA squad is inferior in playing abilities to previous versions, so the coach has to work with what he has available, which he has done to a remarkable extent.

So it's now appropriate to cut your cloth accordingly and play in a way that suits your players strengths? Tony Moanbray will be turning in his Blackburn tracksuit.
