The Ramadan derby. Must admit I was looking at this as an straightforward home win to bounce back from Fulham but I've just seen what a good start to the season they've also had. Should be a good game. Souttar was in Vietnam as of yesterday, are we expecting him (and Allen) to be straight back in? Sima possibly on the bench?
edit also I've always waited 5 games to pay any attention to the league table, as we're 5th after 5 games I'm gonna lump on that and say that's where we'll finish.

We'll win, Fulham are a cut above anyone else in this league. Routine 3 points.

Tough game against a team unbeaten away so far Hopefully a repeat of last season’s 4-3 win 👍

Potential banana skin. They haven't started too badly at all and are unbeaten away from home. Have arguably had a tougher set of fixtures than us.
Talk of regulation victories is just arrogant nonsense.

Souttar in 'Nam ? Sounds like one of those soldiers you see on the news from time to time who has been hiding in a forest for decades because no one has told him the war is over!

Tough to pick a team straight after the international break - not helped by 'Arry being over the other side of the world and our new wunderkid maverick forward not actually having met any of his team mates yet. Thommo and Allen started for Norn Iron and Wales today, at least in home games.
We may not play a couple of the team that started v Fulham due to a need to rest them (and we do play again in midweek) after their travels. I can see Fox for Souttar (move Wilmot to the right and play Leo in the centre) and Sawyers to get a start, possibly, with Sima on the bench at best, if at all. If Powell is fit, I can see him returning, possibly at the expense of Vrancic.
Bursik
Wilmot Østigård Fox
Smith Sawyers Allen Powell Tymon
Fletcher Brown

You can get 4/1 on a Huddersfield win which seems pretty generous as they have started the season very well.

This is why I hate international breaks. Wrecks your teams plans.
I assume Powell’s still out so I’d go with
Bursik
Wilmot Østigård Fox
Smith Sawyers Clucas Tymon
Vrancic
Fletcher Brown

The next five games will tell us an awful lot about the progress or not we have made was Fulham genuinely a one off galant world beaters or have jaws jait knocked over two or three slow starters
The next five show when www air against our peer groups form last season amd that’s a very fair lot so test of ate we set for a season fo progress or another meander to 55 points or so
Tomorrow isn’t gong to define anything and it’s a very right game after an international break but 5 games against our peers will tell us a lot 6 points or less as we were 8 or more real progress for me

Doubt Souttar/Sima will be involved even on the bench.
Bursik
Ostrigard / Wilmot / Fox Smith / Allen / Sawyers / Tymon Vrancic Brown / Surridge
(If Powell’s fit for bench) sub with Vrancic, if not Clucas and move Sawyers up
Fletch sub on for less effective of the 2 up top
Doughty for Tymon (or Smith if him and Ostrigard still haven’t sorted themselves out)

Be interesting to see how Huddersfield approach this having smashed Reading they could come here looking to attack - hope so tbh, more space for Powell, Vranic e.t.c. -
however managers will be aware how well we have started & we might start to see visiting sides park the bus

I think it’ll be tougher than some are giving credit, but I do expect us to grind out a result, just not as routine as we might like.
Hopefully we steamroller them tho 😂
