Joe Allen is a superb example of a player giving his all on the pitch ..he gives 100% every game, heart and soul can’t ask for more, just wish everyone in the squad did the same...I’m fed up of hearing things like Berahino ..not fully fit yet ..!! Ffs ...how long does he want ? And what the hell else does he do all week ? A few early nights needed and less visits to the local brothels might help ....he’s employed to be a professional football player ...at the very least he should be 100% fit !!

Am I being a bit superstitious but our downturn in fortunes coincided with the renaming of the ground June 1st 2016. Coates put things right revert to The Brit again! I agree wholeheartedly....it’s either that or someone has the voodoo dolls out for the whole squad ...my monies on TP...

Shaq should have taken the penalty surely ? I mean Charlie Adam or Shaq ...it’s not rocket science is it ?.. clearly Jese wanted to take it as he had won it ...and according to his tweets he wants to prove to us how good he is ..and I think the game changed when he came on. Also when Berahino won his penalty didn’t Shaq step aside to let him take it ? ( could be wrong as memory isn’t the best )

Live in the Sticks ...most folk say hello to each other out here when walking ...you seem odd if you don’t say hello. Obviously if you’re lurking about dressed in a Chavy tracksuit we might Just check to see if you’re lost ....we tend to be more into tweed (clothing not perfume), wax jackets, wellies, deer stalker hats and flat caps... Do they say hello to runners out your way? certainly do ...we’re pretty friendly ...

Allen works his conkers off every time he plays ...I love his enthusiasm and his work ethic ....a good honest player ...gives his all for 90 mins ..I think he’d benefit from a bit more midfield support ..

They obviously came with the tactical approach of chuck yourself on the deck whenever you can even if you aren’t anywhere near the ball...it was infuriating to watch such blatant cheating, time wasting and general unsportsman like conduct..its not easy to build up any flow or rhythm with the continual stop start of the game. The ref should have got a grip of the match, maybe he was too busy keeping an eye on the crowd trying to spot the ruddy sniper lurking. Can’t stand cheats ... I’d be embarrassed to follow a team that behaved like that ..

Christ we struggle with organising the car parks ....could you imagine floating boxes above the pitch ! It would be like the “Jetsons” only a totally shambolic version, you’d be stuck in the box after the final whistle for hours whilst the marshalls organised traffic .....you’d need to pack shed loads of butties and drinks just to sustain you while you waited to exit the stadium ...😀

As mentioned elsewhere, the ticket site will not work on platforms that dont support adobe flash. Its something the club must work on as the product is end of life in just under two years. So that’ll mean looking at it in about 22 months time then I reckon...

Proper Nogger. 2 full backs. Right half,Centre half, left half. Right winger, inside right,.centre forward, inside left, left winger. (Me) Spot on,and we were taught to defend corners properly with a man inside each post. Me dad would be pleased to hear that .....it’s one thing that always bothers him about the game today ...why don’t they have a man on each post ! As for myself ...and footy I used to have to do a bit of scrapping with the lads to be allowed to play...they didn’t want girls in the team ...but as a bit of a tomboy I could put up a good fight .. And they let me play...the biggest stumbling block was trying to get into Lads n’ dads ...back then it didn’t matter if your dad did play for Stoke, if you were a girl you could bugger off it wasn’t happening.

If last night was anything to go by 'The Stokies' singing definitely had an effect on players moral and performance. i agree with you, but don’t take My word for it, I asked dad what it was like, he said the roar of the Boothen End was incredible and the support of the fans made an amazing difference to him and the other players. How could you not be inspired by your fans singing “we’ll be with you” and “when the reds, go marching in” and the rest of the songs ..dad said it was all the motivation he needed, the fans singing and their support do make a big difference. So we all know what to do ....sing, sing and sing some more ..the bearpit Spirit must return...bigger, louder and more intimidating than ever to the opposition.

The players seem to do a better job of scouting for new squad members than the scouts .....we could save a few brown envelopes stuffed full of readies by getting the info off the players ...a star chart in the dressing room should suffice as a reward for a decent recommendation..we’d save Peter loads of dosh and he’d reinvest it in better players .. Wouldn’t he ? Probably not ...

I was only talking about the stadium name change today ...things started to go downhill when we changed to the Bet365...the Britannia stadium had a better ring about it.. The bearpit and fortress Britannia were great names ...kinda doesn’t sound as mighty with ‘the Bet 365 stadium” in front of it .....the fortress bet 365 ..bit of a mouthful IMO Maybe we should change the name back to Britannia I agree, I think it should be changed back personally, whilst I know why it was called the Britannia...(building society and all that) the name Britannia is powerful on its own Like the Victoria ground ...it evoked a sense of pride, plus once named you shouldn’t just wade in and rename something for advertising and branding reasons imo. Britannia was a great name think we should have it back.

I'll get behind him whilst he's here, but Why do I feel like we should be shopping at Harrods but have plumped for Home Bargains instead? I think Harrods is overrated and overpriced ...i’d much rather have a bargain ...Lambo’s keen ...he wants the job and he certainly knows all about the squad ..and if he can keep us up he’ll be a saint ...a bargain saint but still a saint . Welcome soon to be Saint Paul of Lambert (if you keep us up) ......a quick heads up ...fitness levels need some work ..and pronto too ..👍

Scholes is PC's patsy, just like Hughes before him, and Moxey during his first reign. Only one man to blame. Coates Out. I read that wrong ...must be the lack of me reading goggles ...thought you were calling Scholes, PC’s ..Pastry....

You have got to question the negotiation skills of whomever is involved in this monumental fiasco... surely interested parties made it known to the club ? .*someone senior in the club arranges to interview them * we narrow it down to top 3. * we offer the job to our number 1 choice * if they accept ...happy days we seal the deal ..sign contract * we announce to all, whom the new manager is blah blah blah
You don’t tell everyone who you’ve chosen, in case they don’t sign or else you could look like a proper Charlie

Keane has pretty much been a pussycat since being involved with the Irish set-up, except in his dealings with the press, that is. The players like him, and look up to him, but it's O'Neill's team, and he's in charge. It's hard to fathom, but O'Neill wears the trousers in that relationship, and there has never been any suggestion of Keane overstepping the mark at any point. I really think this could work, with O'Neill's well-known motivational/man-management skills making the players believe that they are world-beaters, and Keane keeping them up to the task through a mixture of respect and fear. One really good thing is that, whoever it is that takes over, will likely have a full squad to choose from for the first time in ages, along with Bauer, who I can't wait to see in action. totally agree 100% ......it’s a bit good cop/ bad cop ..and some players need a rocket up their arse ..whilst others need the arm around the shoulder and a more inspiration/ motivational “you can do it “ kinda approach, Which makes MON/Keano a winning double act ...hopefully..

We Stoke fans appreciate a player who gives 100% and plays with pride and passion for our club. Ramadan is only young, but we can all see he plays with heart and soul, and we love him for that. With the right manager he will develop and grow into the player we have seen glimpses of on the pitch. He’s a good honest hardworking player, I hope he’s still a Stoke player for a good while longer, he is well liked by all here. I was a Mark Hughes supporter, but even I have to admit he had lost the plot and players such as Ramadan lose the confidence in their own ability. I’m sure a change of manager will be the confidence boost he needs.

According to dad ...goalkeepers have to decide which way they are going to dive to stand a chance of getting to anything in the corners of the goal .....this combined with a bit of homeswork on who will probably Take the penalty and where they like to place it should enable the keeper to hopefully go the right way and cover as much of the goal area as they can. Once committed it is virtually impossible to change your mind unless the penalty is hit Pretty slowly ...reading the signs, such as the drop of a shoulder will help but other than that they are pretty difficult to defend and often the element of luck is required...all you can do is hope you dive the right way. And do your homework 👍

Joe Allen has been superb, his work ethic is way above most in our side at the moment ...he at least gets stuck in forcing errors from the opposition. We don’t like it when the opposition hassle us and don’t give us time on the ball, closing down the opposition and breaking the flow of play is one part of his game that’s brill imo..if he doesn’t win the ball, he doesn’t stop and give up ...he’s straight back in ....one of the few players that does look fully fit .
