Always found that goals win games not possession

What do we reckon, 4 more points will be enough? It could be but would leave us exposed to a shock result. The Wigan situation is unpredictable - will they lose 12 points, will they go bust, will this case mean the Sheff Weds one is finally resolved? With our goal difference, 6 points would be solid 8 points clear of Wigan now

Such a waste. His first 6 months he was really good. Bossed the midfield, driving us forward, throw in a view MOM performances. Then from that summer onwards it all went tits up

Continue the current form under MON and we should hit 26 more points

Arnie was a great player one of the best for us,but Fuller is the best stoke player I've seen in my life time. Had this discussion on another thread and I’m with you. Technically I think Arnie was better. But I’m not sure that’s the only criteria for determining who was the best. As good as they both were, Fuller, at his best, was on another level. A genius. Arnie was great, I loved watching him. An outstanding talent. I accept my opinion may have been slightly coloured by my perception of Arnie as a bit of a twat and Ric as some kind of beautiful combination of Bob Marley, George Best, Morgan Freeman and God. That description of Fuller has to be the best yet - hands down. Strong work

Interesting that prior to the West Brom game there was a post on here pointing out that MON's points thus far had been accrued against bottom 5 sides. Following the West Brom and Swansea games we have now fully put that to bed too. On our day we can now beat anyone in this division. In our current situation surely picking up points off our nearest rivals are more important

Jesus if I was an opposition fan I’d be howling reading this. We might well still go down. As in, there is a very concrete possibility that we will be playing in League One next season. If MON has his head screwed on, which thankfully I believe he does, he’ll be hyper-aware of this, focussing on the demands of keeping us out of trouble and most certainly not getting all overexcited with fantasies of promotion. Maybe, but push for promotion or stay up require the same thing - winning games. Granted one needs many more of them, but the mentality should be the same. The performance yesterday showed many signs of a team being able to just do that

Couldn't watch today. It looks like we've battered them? Is that a fair assessment? Checked the Swansea forum and most of them on there seem to think it was a more than fair result beyond the first 20 minutes. Up the fucking Potters. That is fair - we gave them way too much room in the first 20 mins or so. We then stepped up the press and could have scored more. Great team performance

He needs to earn the trust first. It's no good happy clapping him because of what he did for NI. Many supporters said his 4-3-3 wasn't working and it wasn't. He's finally changed it and look at the difference today. It can't be a coincidence surely? His record so far states he deserves a fair amount of trust and praise. It's not been perfect and some selections may have raised questions, but a 45.45% win record from a side that had so much wrong with it is impressive. Changed formation today and it looked good. There is still a massive challenge ahead, but the attitude and fight seems massively improved from earlier in the season. Goals are coming and it's a great start to 2020, but it just that a start. That said the signs are more encouraging than they have in the last two years or so. 6 points out of 3 tricky festive fixtures us a good return. The manner of how the points were gained is massively impressive. Here's to the rollercoaster

Wonder if NJ will have the bottle to drop Jack on Saturday, and give Davis a go ? Jack"s confidence is shot Think it's more about good management. He doesn't seem to have the confidence he used to have and for his own sake needs to be taken out of the spotlight. Individual errors are giving us mountains to climb. He wasn't the only reason we gave away soft goals last night. It's just easy to point the finger at his part in them. More should have been done by the outfield players to stop / block the shots

Not sure Hogan would agree - two games, one goal. Hit the woodwork twice - making and getting chances Did he score the first today as well? I thought I’d seen he has claimed it but might be mistaken! Put it this way, you would never have seen Vokes and afobe do what Gregory and Hogan did for the second goal Hadn't realised Gregory had such pace - great look up before the cross too. More of that please

Inevitable. We're just a toxic environment for strikers right now. Not sure Hogan would agree - two games, one goal. Hit the woodwork twice - making and getting chances

The Butler Street roof is regarded as the catalyst that broke up a great Stoke team. As any historical analysis will show this is largely myth. However, in years to come will the signing of Imbula become the 21st century Butler Street? Rather the mismanagement of him. The first half season he did very well for us, including 2 or 3 man of the match performances. Watford away being one unless I'm mistaken. First full season no idea what changed. Hooked off at half time in the cup game against Wolves to never play for us again. Such a shame and a waste

Anyone who watched our strikers today can see we need this fella in. Not going to happen unless it’s a loan and especially now focus will be on a centre half We have enough cover at centre half

No, the stats don’t lie, one win in 10 isn’t the form of a strong side. Or if we’re talking about brute strength, we have some physical players but we also have a few featherweights. Unbeaten in four says we are getting there

We're coming from behind after a poor start and need wins not draws. Ahead twice you should win the game. You don't get points for a good try. Actually you do,we got 1 Beat me to it 😂😂😂
