In fairness we hardly expected any different they are on a different level at the moment. We worked hard but it must be depressing when you chase someone down, win a tackle and pass to Jese only for him not to give a single fuck as to what happens next.

Had this discussion with the person beside me on Saturday. Where's Stephen Ireland he has more energy than Fletcher, Stephen Hawking had more energy than Fletcher.

Penalties are missed by even some of the greats but the fucking reaction to the rebound will haunt me even from the distance of the Boothen end.

I was depressed yesterday I'm getting out the Radiohead cd today. Suicide should never be an option mate. 100% mate but a good weep goes a long way.

It's hard to believe but he's getting worse. Opinions eh, personally think he's the one player who's upped his game since Lambert arrived. As a defender he's okish but he never ever ever beats the first man with a cross.

A bit of a bigger song repertoire (had to look up the spelling of that) wouldn't go amiss either. Land of hope and glory Home of Stoke FC etc etc And we're not bloody cricket fans; dump the barmy army crap and bring back 'red and white' And dump the 'we hate Vale' bollocks. Imagine hearing West Ham chanting 'we hate Orient'. We'd think they are right fuckwits As a longstanding Stoke fan who lives a long way from Stoke the Vale thing never meant much to me other than not one of the people I work with or am friends with knows where Vale are from. They are irrelevant and we should probably just ignore them.

I suppose the only comfort is that at least MON wants the job. Does he? He does

Do we seriously need this manager? If you went on the Danish match alone you wouldn't put him in charge of parking at the Harvester but to get that far he organized a team with not much ability(it hurts me to write that) to a plavoff and before that to the second stage of the Euros. He has a good reputation of getting the most out of ordinary players which suits us at the moment.

If as it looks like O'Neill is getting the job it would be good if he brought in someone who knows what Stoke is a bout with him.Rory Delap would fit the bill.

I'm in a dilemma here as an Irish Stokie I have seen close up what O Neill and Keane can do which is basically a well organized but hard to watch team, there is no doubt that many of our players need a good kick up the hole and short term these two would be capable of doing that.

Burnley's biggest plus is that they seem to be able to replace players who are injured or suspended with players who are just as good.
