I am delighted with our front three of Powell Fletcher and Campbell. All 3 offer various qualities which we have been lacking since we dropped into the championship. Campbell's stats are interesting his 3 league goals have come from just 7 shots according to BBC stats. Contrast that with the current leading scorer Adam Armstrong who has 11 goals from a staggering 41 shots!! I have no idea how to interpret the stats other than suggesting Tyrese should shoot more!! having said that as others have pointed out his top the assists count. Promoted teams often have a striker hitting 20+ not sure any of our guys will hit 20 but expect Fletcher and Campbell to get close and double figures from Powell and Clucas will see us get close to 70 goals.

As the championship settles down a little It's not a bad time to muse over who will be there at the end. I am sticking with my start of season thoughts and go with 1) Norwich 2) Watford 3) Brentford 4) Swansea 4) Bournemouth 5) Stoke Others may be close Reading....... Defensively woeful mid table Bristol City.. Not convinced by them. 3 wins on the trot have put them up there but apart from ourselves all their wins have been against bottom half teams Middlesboro...Will be close and might bore their way to sneak into the playoffs but won't score the required 70+ goals for top 6 Millwall..... Rowett is the master of the drawn game (as we well know). Already drawn 5 this season. You simply have to win minimum 20 they won't I know someone often come from nowhere to get into the playoffs. But I am struggling to see who that might be this season. Anyone know where I might be able to have $1 bet on my top six? why do you have Swansea and Bournemouth both in 4th? Do you expect them to have same points, same gd and same goals scored? Well spotted Mr Pernickety but you should have pointed out that Stoke should have been in 6th place not 5th. Serious error by me and you for not spotting it. As for the joint 4th, last night I had just that dream of Swansea and Bournemouth having all their stats equal at the end of the season even red and yellow cards and shots on target. Bookies have offered me 10,000 to 1 odds on that stat so I have taken out a second mortgage on my Florida condo.

I hope he can keep up his excellent form and reman injury free for most of the season as he has become such an important cog in the team. The worry is who can replace him if he is ruled out through injury or ban? Cousin...please no! Thompson...maybe. Maybe it would force a formation change.

7 Thankfully he didn't start with the same line up as Swansea and the performance was better against a very decent side. Our two excellent goals deserved a point against Watford's 3 scrappy very fortunate goals. The bench looked weak and the return of Clucas Allen and Verlinden to the matchday squad would give him better options for game management.

Other than McClean at LWB happy with that. It's far and away the best front 3

He is an OK squad player that's versatile. But shouldn't be starting unless we have injuries. He is youngish so maybe he can improve. One thing for certain he isn't going to get you many goals so as a key player in a front 3...no thanks

1 for turning up. The team selection got what it deserved zip and no shots on target. He always says he picks a team to go out and win. I would love to know how he thought that team would win the game. We have some very talented players...pick them.

Play offs have to be the aim this season. there are quite a few on here who seem to think we are headed for a mid table finish. I really don't get that view. The stats under MON continue to suggests play offs. I know anything can happen in football, but we would need to have a serious un of poor form which hasn't happened under MON for us to drift away from the top six. Even the long term loss of a couple of key players is unlikely to have a huge detrimental effect as we have most bases covered. In fact I would be surprised if many other championship teams have such strength in depth. I am usually pessimistic where Stoke are concerned but it would be a huge disappointment and indeed a major missed opportunity if we are not in the promotion shake up.

They will have lots of success attacking our left flank and firing in crosses from there for Toney. Brown will spend most of his time in our half helping out a woefully inadequate defensive McClean.

More important than the change at the back is that the impressive triumvirate of Powell Fletcher and Campbell all start.

Hey Southgate some advice. Stop picking your favourites. Play the guys in form and performing. It's one of the worse 45 mins from England in a long while

Ha ha I was going to post exactly the same about Grealish. At times it really could have been the majestic Huddy driving forward. It's the first time I can say that I have seen a current footballer remind me of my hero. He doesn't have the vision and the close control of the man himself, but I have to say I am a huge fan of Grealish I hope he becomes a mainstay of this England team because Southgate has picked some absolute shite in midfield.

I disagreed with Bayern when he called our game against Wolves as meaningless. At the start of the season these early rounds are crucial for players getting decent match fitness. We gave seen how a number of younger players have used good performance in the cup to get a call for the championship match day squad. So far from meaningless almost crucial. I agree this bunch of shitehawks sponsors have demeaned the competition with dodgy draws carried out at 3 a.m UK time. At least they haven't done this this year. But both cups now are the sole ownership of the top 6. Just look at the qtr final line-up. Maybe Everton might upset the domination...i hope so.

9 from me. Great team selection and the right subs. I drop him a point for not getting Smith on earlier. Villa were clearly targeting Brown and El Ghazi was rinsing him regularly. MON did though change it before any damage.

Do you see this game as another meaningless game like the Wolves tie? Another one you think we are better off losing? Those comments from you sounded bizarre at the time and even more so now Haha. I honestly couldn’t give a shit if we lose or not and I’d still sack this competition off yes. The amount of positives that have come from these meaningless games suggest the manager the players and most fans apart from you would disagree. At this stage of the season it has given the manager a chance to rotate the squad and given some serious lift to players like Soutter Collins Tymon TOB who are now close to all being starters...so far from meaningless. Why not just admit you got it wrong?

I am sure they will want to spend as little time in Wrexham as possible. If they head out I am sure there will be a warm welcome for them at the gorgeous Boat Inn Erbistock. It has fond memories for me. In my twenties it was always the de facto choice where to take a lady to impress. It's been some time since I have been there I am sure it has changed, hope not too much though. Idyllic and way off the beaten track, so it's still a good option, especially if the lady isn't your wife Ha ha rumbled after all these years! Is the place still going I really hope so?
