It's Ryan fucking Reynolds and Rob McHelenney who are the potential investors.
2020 is a completely bizarre year for everything -

Maybe he's got Wrexham mixed up with West Ham and thinks he's getting a bargain?!

He’s just sold his gin company for millions £460 Million to Diaego, seem to own a few gin companies. If he wants to thrown money at the club, fair play to him, just seems such a strange one.

Decent-ish actor, probably most famous now for playing Deadpool in, err, Deadpool. Not someone's films I'd go and rush out to watch though. I'll be honest, haven't a clue on the other bloke who isn't Reynolds. He's been in stuff I guess

Anything that gets more people to watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is good in my books. Decent-ish actor, probably most famous now for playing Deadpool in, err, Deadpool. Definitely my favourite comedy programme of all time and I’ve watched enough of them. I urge anyone who hasn’t watched it, to do so. It’s on Netflix.

I didn't know it was on Netflix, and I've been meaning to sign up for a while. I'll get on that pronto as I've only seen the first 4 series of Always Sunny - one of the reasons I wish it was more popular so it was more widely available. Father Ted is my favourite comedy programme, but Always Sunny isn't far behind. It has those moments of hilarious genius all the best comedies do.

You’ve got another 10 seasons to catch up on then mate! It’s been renewed for season 15 as well, which will make it the longest running sitcom of all time.

They looked into the history of Wrexham and were drawn to it's blue collar heritage.
They want to help them get back into the league and film it all.
The fans are excited. They should be. Thongs being what they are the club could fold without it. Like loads of others.

If you don't know who Rob McElhenney is then you're missing out. The creator/star of the longest running comedy of all time 'it's always sunny in philladelphia'

Oddly enough this makes a bit of sense to me. I used to have a severe football manager addiction (been clean for about 5yrs) and I always ended up starting with Wrexham in the conference. They’re a sleeping giant at that level with a big stadium and plenty of scope for building the club. Reynolds and his partner clearly see what I always saw except they have enough £ to play real life football manager.

I am sure they will want to spend as little time in Wrexham as possible. If they head out I am sure there will be a warm welcome for them at the gorgeous Boat Inn Erbistock. It has fond memories for me. In my twenties it was always the de facto choice where to take a lady to impress. It's been some time since I have been there I am sure it has changed, hope not too much though.

I like Ryan Reynolds a lot, but has he ever watched a football match in his life? I think hes Canadian and done quite a bit of philanthropy already during his career.
Could be good fun for the Wrexham fans.

Idyllic and way off the beaten track, so it's still a good option, especially if the lady isn't your wife
