Bolton took 250 there last week. At the price, and with nothing riding on it, I reckon under 1K could well be possible. Anyone else spending the weekend down there?

Jonnynico- He was ahead of play when Tuncay struck the ball. It was still deemed the same 'phase' despite the ball hitting the post.

I know Kitson didn't have a clue Jamie.
Totally agree about Abdy- is finishing has been appaling this season. We really do miss Ryan at set pieces.

Kitson's miss was indeed dreadful BUT he was offside. That said, he should still have tucked it away.

Arsenal have one better striker, and he has been out for most of the season. Despite his recent goalscoring form, Bendtner is shite.

Horrendous miss. Criminal infact. As was Abdy's.
Don't get me started on Tuncay's walk down the tunnel- disgraceful.

From someone at Adidas. I suppose nothing is 100% accurate until we all see the article, but I'm pretty confident.

Just had it 'confirmed' that Adidas are our kit supplier next season. Not exactly ground breaking, but news nonetheless.

Yes Tom, you are right. An England scout told my cousin at the Stoke v Man City cup game that Shawcross was ahead of Lescott in the pecking order and basically ruled Lescott out of the running for South Africa.
However, alot has changed since then and I highly doubt Ryan will go having not played for such a long time. It's a shame, but hopefully over the next 2 years he can push on even further and maybe even be a regular by the time Euro 2012 comes around?!

Although it is sad, I think they have made a tremendous appointment by getting Simon Davey in as gaffer.

Cracking run of form, just at the right time. They could really rue that loss at home to Crewe (which was never a penalty) though.
I went last week in the directors suite against Dagenham and, I have to confess, they were very organised behind the scenes. Very impressed with the set up.
Also liked the way Bill bratt celebrated with a bottle of Newcy Brown in his hand!
That's enough Vale bumming for one decade though...

If they are so intent on getting a new striker, do you reckon they might be interested in Mama?

Simmo is staying for another year mate- he's signed a new contract Would be good to get him out on loan with a recall clause for emergency.

I highly doubt Arsene Wanker would sell us any of his 'stars' Grapey, but I wouldn't mind us taking a look at Johan Djourou (if he can regain fitness).

Just a quick one on Diarra. He swapped shirts with Sidibe after the friendly in Austria. If memory serves me right, he looked good in red and white stripes

Perhaps we don't need to change our left back then? I don't want to start another Collins debate, but I think he is developing into a pretty solid player (shoot me).
