Don't blame the statue on the sunshine, don't blame it on the moonlight, don't blame it on the good times, blame it on Al-Fayed...

Think last year's tickets started at about £75, not entirely sure though as didn't go. Was really hoping it may of been the Seahawks there this year, maybe a rematch of this years play offs against either The Saints or The Bears.

In all seriousness, seeing as we are relying less and less on the long throw, and more and more on playing proper wingers, it may be an idea to widen the pitch slightly.

I'll take a wild stab and say our home matches will be LWLW and our away matches will be LDWL, in which case it'd be 10 points. Sorted!

We should pick another England manager, from the Championship and have him pick a "B" team made up of only champioship and lower players! I'd fuckin love it, love it I tell ya! No more big time charlies, plenty of players wanting those three lions on their shirt! The home nations are pretty much stocked up on championship like players anyway so we dick them all! There is no reason why Fabio couldn't manage them but just take a load of fringe England players as you suggested, would be a great chance to experiment with up and coming players or different tactics etc.

Sod it, I'm off to work. At the end of the day (quite literally) if we haven't signed anybody this January then it isn't the worst thing to ever happen to the club. Last Jan we only made one signing, this Jan we have made one perm and one loan. Granted we have sold Tuncay, and I'm sad to see him leave, but it was only a matter of time before he did go, and in Carew I am sure we have got a player who will score some vital goals for us this season, even if they aren't as flash as the ones that Tuncay is capable of scoring. Summer is when we step up a level, Viva La Stoke City!

We're just lucky that he didn't bring out one of his 'music centers' that Pulis mentioned, or they would of never of got him to stop pulling shapes.

In fairness, a lot of shops have stock take in January. Is a bit of a coincidence though, although I suppose their logic is that Mondays are generally the quietest day of the week, when it comes to retail.

We got slated yesterday bb for saying about Phillips, if ever you want an impact sub who has a good scoring record it's that man Like I said last night Phillips is a fox in the box who puts away the chances that we miss week in week out I know if we signed him it would look like we were scraping the barrel a bit, but if there really aren't any better strikers available this transfer window then I think it could be a good bit of business. When you have a great footballing brain like Kevin Phillips does, age and mobility aren't as important. As you say, it's about scoring by being in the right place at the right time, something that Phillips knows all about.

Kevin Phillips has just scored for Brum. I was just going to post that. Perhaps he is what we need (puts on tin hat). As a temporary stop gap on loan till the summer we could do a lot worse. Then come summer we can try and find a long term solution.

If you don't own a season ticket for your club, but are willing to spend more money than one would cost you on something else club related (such as a tacky tattoo), then you are a dick...

This thread is full of shit. Andystoke43172121651 whatever his fucking name is talking absolute dogwank. We all know you're talking catspaff so please shut up. March with his usual OTT crap, trying to convince everyone that he knows everything and is always right, using ridiculous arguments like "you pay his wages then. " What the fuck does that even mean? AHHHHH, we need to do something on the transfer front. ;D

Anybody here think a Fuller/Sunderland deal of some sort wont happen? I don't think it will either. The bloke will never pass a medical in a thousand years, but he's worth too much to us to let him go 'on the cheap'. Also Sunderland aren't exactly desperate for players, so they won't do a West Ham and take a risk on somebody if they don't have to.

I've heard a few people on Twitter mention Stoke have been looking into signing Kasper Schmeichel. This would only happen if Asmir was leaving surely. You'd think so, maybe we are just looking into replacements now so that if the likes of Chelsea or Manchester United come in for him in the summer we will have a replacement. Alternatively Sorensen may be off as he can't be happy with sitting on the bench, especially as he is now no longer the Danish number 1 keeper. Chances are though there is no truth in what I have read on Twitter.

March is right, clubs should only sign players who have played in the Premier League. Like Spurs did with Bale, Liverpool with Torres, Chelsea with Drogba, Arsenal with Fabregas etc. etc. So, you want us to sign Robinho (£32.5M), Shevchenko (£30M), Veron (£28M). 3 of the most expensive signings were flops. Signing a player who has never played in the Prem is ALWAYS a risk. Are you prepared to gamble your own money on the player's wages? The return will be ten fold if the player is a success? You still haven't answered my question about what type of players you think don't have a risk attached to them?
