When your attacking tactic is to lump the ball forward aimlessly, your 5’5 winger isn’t going to be involved.
He was a passenger & he just looks thoroughly fed up with the absolute dross that surrounds him.
He’s a luxury player & unfortunately not what you need when your scrapping, but if you take him out the squad, then we’d have been relegated way before now.

Fuller to actually bring some quality into the final third. Strong as a ox & has magic in them boots at times.
N’zonzi to bring abit of calmness & ball retention ability, instead of this hoof & hope nonsense that we have to put up with.

Criticise Cameron all you like, but the joke of a left back cost us the game. Absolutely bottled it when he should have put his body on the line and taken a boot in the body from Andy Carroll. He wasn't the only one to turn his back on the shot. Indi Fanny'd out totally. At least Pieters tried to get to Carroll. Ok let’s blame the two Dutch blokes then. Just an absolute bunch of bottlers. When two of your back 4 can’t even take a hit in stoppage time when you desperately need a win then you know you’ve had it. Fed up of this lot.

Maybe but for me Pieter's had a cracking game. Tired at the end methinks. As for Cameron the idea was to allow Allen to get in behind Crouch but because Geoff was so far off the pace (or shit if you prefer) Allen ended up mostly battling at the back. Cameron was a passenger & there’s no defending him. But if Pieters has shown some balls instead of turning his back then it would have been different. Just so frustrating. Had enough of the lot of them.

I’m absolutely sick to death of this team.
Don’t care for any of them at all.
By some miracle we get in front, yet we just haven’t got the bottle/intelligence to hold on for 15 minutes. Cheap free kicks, hoofing it when we can be composed, bottling tackles. Just please let this season be over soon.

That passage of play was beyond shite from Diouf and sums up exactly why we are struggling. For a top flight club to have such quality in the final third is utterly embarrassing Indeed. Seeing crouch come on and play centre half for spurs was equally embarrassing. We really are crap in the forward department Ha ha I was thinking something similar. At one point we put a half decent ball into the area and Crouch got a real good defensive header & sent it back to where it came. Useless

He needs to get off social media, knuckle down & work hard on his kicking, catching & command of area.
The annoying thing for me is his demeanour. It’s a fine line between confidence & arrogance. Just seems like he thinks he’s better than us, when unfortunately for him that really isn’t the case at the moment.

The problem is consistency.
Danny Rose and Ramadan went into a tackle, Ramadan looked to kick abit of ball and the man and Rose went down like he’d been shot holding his arm. They get a foul.
Not long before half time, I think it was Sanchez from them swung a high boot and was head height of Ramadan. We don’t make a meal of it and nothing is given.
It’s the lack of consistency for me that frustrates & makes people get on at the referee. As let’s be honest, probably 90% of the fouls given today were the correct decision.
Which brings me on to another point & the complete indiscipline we show at times. We give away so many silly fouls & it’s just daft. It cost us today and it will keep costing us. Prime suspect for this is the utterly daft Eric Pieters.

I haven’t seen the goal again, but at the time I did wonder where the left side of the defence had gone.
Where on earth was Pieters?

Another Choupo Moting bashing thread. If Choupo Moting has that 5 on 2 break, we would have taken a point today. And if Choupo had been on, we'd never have got that equaliser, he's never chasing Lloris down and taking a bang for the team They're both shite, but at least Diouf works hard. Choupo Moting is out with an injury where he got flattered by the keeper and scored isn’t he?

Those around me, and there were plenty, were moaning about Shaqiri and what they saw was a lack of effort on his part. They were quite right to challenge his lack of effort as well, apart from the one free kick WTF did he actually do? Apart from that the rest of the team ran their knackers off and like you say the bloke with quality couldnt have cared less He pretty much created our goal.

We put so much into the same, but unfortunately we will be relegated due to a severe lack of quality.
Special mention to the two in midfield who were absolutely fantastic.

Choupo Moting is nowhere near as bad as many people are making out on here.
He’s abit flashy & is active on social media. But if you look at what he’s offered this season overall, then he’s been alright. Scored some important goals & has abit of quality.
I see some posters saying they prefer Ramadan, but he isn’t anywhere near Choupos level.
We are a better team with him in it, than without.

The funny thing is he says “if the club get relegated” Yet from what I’ve seen, a year in the championship might do him the world of good, as he’s not cut out for top flight football at the moment. It would be nice to see someone say, “if the worst happens and we go down, I’ll do everything in my power to get us back up.”

Atrocious footballer, how he gets game time god only knows. The competition is Crouch & Berahino. That’s your answer. I’d go Choupo Moting upfront if for for the rest of the season.

Without a doubt Choupo is the better player. It’s not even close. People can criticise Choupo for maybe not being 100% effort, however atleast he can take a man on, score a goal or create something.

Absolutely brain dead Badou.
If by some miracle we have half a chance of staying up & it goes down to goal difference with Huddersfield, then that moment could be pivotal

Hardly won a header & couldn’t keep hold of the ball. No threat at all on the counter attack due to being so immobile, other than that he was fine. Always going to be tough with just 10 men and so 1 less player to support him He made some good defensive work at set pieces So we kept him on Just so he could do abit of defending at corners. He was supposed to be our main attacking threat, yet he’s more of a hindernece, as his lack of pace/strength just stops any momentum

Do you blame the player or the managers who have not replaced him and continue to use him as the go to man ? It’s not the players fault that he is way past his best. It’s the managers who continue to pick him who are to blame. Paul Lambert is just another dinosaur parading aroundas a manager. We lacked any bottle in the appointment & are getting exactly what we deserve

His decision making is terrible.
Dribbles when he should pass, passes when he should dribble.
He needs coaching properly.

Let's not beat around the bush here. Paul Lambert is a bumbling idiot who doesn't know his arse from his elbow. The dithering over making the first substitution when it was clear what was coming was something Messrs pulis Kemp and O'Connor would have been proud of. The sight of Shaqiri gesturing to the bench that (presumably) there was no forward outlet because crouch couldn't run and Lambert gesturing that he couldn't hear him was embarrassing. The selection of Johnson (who actually played very well until, predictably, his legs stopped working) ahead of arguably our fittest player was the decision of a lunatic. Just sack the useless twat now. He's fucking hopeless. We should have stuck with our previous manager if this useless c**t was the best we could do as a replacement. Oh...and why would you not recall bojan when you play that useless twat Jese? We have 3 or 4 dangerous counter attack’s that’ broke down simply because we have a near 40 year old immobile striker upfront. The change should have been made 15 mins earlier, but no we dithered & left it too late. Don’t even get me started on Jese. A disgrace & a player I never want to see in our strip ever again

At the minute it feels like every shot on target is a goal.
And don’t get me started on his distribution with the ball at his feet.
I’m not a fan of this arrogance that he seems to show, knuckle down & do the simple things lad.

If thins aren’t going well for you, atleast put 100% effort in.
His first touch was awful, bottled challenges, couldn’t pass & Just generally walked/jogged around.

Trying to draw our way to safety.
A draw isn’t the end of the world, but the manor of it is very disappointing.
Sick of negative managers.
