Now that Charlie has been sent off, expect him to be sacrificed at some point for a more defensive player

I was thinking the exact opposite. Heavy first touches, terrible touch passes in the final third, can't really create anything. About all he provides is some good effort.

Agreed his first touch has meant we’ve played backwards. Not at all impressed by him. Glen Johnson has been playing better in my books.

He is a fighter, and he is better for the team in the relegation battle than any other lazy player. He did well in the first 30 minutes, then he started to help in the defense, and he wasn't good in the 2nd half. He used to play here in +30 and +40 degrees, I cant imagine myself watching the game in this weather, dont know how does he feel while playing.

Start him every game. He's fearless. Reminds me of a younger Neymar.

He's just not that good. He might have been in Egypt, and he might be again in the future, but he's just ok - I wish he was great, but he's average. Like all our players really.

He's got potential but he was crap after the 30 minute mark. Looked like he'd lost his strength.

Didn't think he played that well tbh, but he fought for it which we've massively missed, will come in handy next season.

Did he pass to a Stoke player at any point? Only one I remember was aimed at Allen, but missed so badly it hit Crouch.
A season in the Championship will probably be good for him

He doesn't like to cross the ball so was never going to really work today with Crouch playing.
Started off well though.
I'd still play him over Choupo (as long as Crouch doesn't play).

don't care if Choupo is lazy at times, he has actual skill. Same with Jese, same with Saido. Yet our manager plays a lamppost, and egyptian with a heavier foot than the Sphinx and drunken Scotsman.

Whoever plays gets criticised and the bloke on the bench gets bigged up, the fact is the majority of them aren't good enough and there's not a lot more to it.

If Adam didnt take the red card, if the 1st goal for Everton was cancelled because it was offside, the comments about the kid was going to be 100% the opposite. He did well in the 1st half, he was poor in the first 15 minutes in the 2nd half before being changed.
Choupo played the whole season, some games he didnt do anything positive and it was OK.
