Hugely dissapointing season. Not sure what’s happened but if we get 40m for him the worlds gone mad. Another one of the Twitter brigade caught up in his own fame perhaps. I’d be tempted to drop him but for Grants injury.

Said the same weeks ago nowwhere near the player he was at the moment indeed I’d say he isn’t as good this season as Grant was last and that’s not that brilliant

I'd be surprised if he started as No. 1 in the World Cup.

He’s having the kind of season Asmir had before he left. Head somewhere else.
Galling to see him preening on Football Focus and talking about England. He still can’t even kick properly, is he putting the work in in training?

I'd be surprised if he started as No. 1 in the World Cup. Not a chance. It'll be Pickford and I've thought it for a few months now.

Extremely poor again today. Overall, nowhere near as good as Asmir or Tommy for us in the Premier League.

I'd be surprised if he started as No. 1 in the World Cup. If it's between him and pickford, he'll start as no1. Butland is rooted to his line because he's terrified of making a mistake that will cost him his world cup place but yet again, we've conceded 2 goals he should have dealt with. Our best players, or so called best players are just as wank as the rest of them.

At the minute it feels like every shot on target is a goal.
And don’t get me started on his distribution with the ball at his feet.
I’m not a fan of this arrogance that he seems to show, knuckle down & do the simple things lad.

That £40 million in the credit column is looking less and less likely. Could be down to about £15 million if things carry on like this much longer.

Snap their hands off for 40 big ones. He's good, but not that good. I won't lose any sleep at losing him, Allen and Shaqiri, even though I like them as players.
They haven't been good enough to keep us up, have they? Take the money and spend it on players that have pace and power. We could get 5 decent players and shape a team with the money we make.
That's assuming we want to and the Chuckle Brothers can actually identity them, mind.

Had smoke (rightly) blown up his arse for so long, now thinks he's destined for better things. Sorry Jack, but you've got a long way to go before you're a number 1 keeper for England. I'd take Tommy in his prime any day.
Showing his distain for the fans said it all to me, fucker thinks he's better the everyone else. Gone from being a very humble young man, to a cocky bloke.

There was an Everton corner in the second half that was played in 4-5 yards from the goal line and he was rooted to his line!!!
That's evo-stik goalkeeping!

You have to call a spade a spade.
When we've needed our big time players this season they have by and large let us down, and Butland has big time over the last few weeks.
It's one of many reasons why we are deep in the mire.
His head is clearly elsewhere.

Our bargaining power will be shot at the end of this season. Unless there is an auction, we’ll get hosed.
He’s not been at his best. Poor decision making and his kicking has gone backwards since his injury.

Should have done better with both goals, as much as I'd like him to be number 1 because I like the guy - he's not playing at the level of Englands number 1 keeper.

Another player whose reputation outweighs his ability.
If anyone's daft enough to give us £40m we shoudl snap their hands off. I'd probably sell for £25-30m.

He's not as bad as Pickford, which will be in his favour come the World Cup. Had our players been more alert, Pickford would have given us two easy goals by spilling tame shots. If he was a foreign goalkeeper, Everton would have given up on him months ago.
