Well said Ted, and i wish you well in your rehabilitation.
I'm not a fan of Pulis the man, but his management this season has been (I am happy to concede) nothing short of excellent. I truly believe also that Peter Coates knows that this is our shot and is preparing to procure the players that we need in order to achieve the unthinkable.

To be honest, it's just pictures of grown men dressed up.
They've taken the picture of Leon Cort getting rogered by Salif Diao* off

Don't want to wee on the bonfire but he's not signed it yet. He will though won't he? For some reason, Fuller seems to really like it here. I blame the manager ;D

"A steward stood over it throughout the second half"
For £5.50 an hour and a pie at half-time? I'd have told them to fucking do one ;D

Best stop dodging those Salads boyos, isn't it.
You can just see the Stoke-hating Sentinel hacks sharpening their tools - "Fat Bastard Stoke Fans wreak havoc on innocent Seaside town*"

Or we could bring back Adam Rooney from his loan spell, switch Cressie up front and play Philips/Pugh on the left?
Akinbiyi is/was wank. He was the first time he was here, and time will not have improved the situation.
I think the argument is academic anyway. I reckon Sidibe won't go. Would you?

I hate Pulis. He's a dour, boring, uninspriring human being, who appears to have courted controversy everywhere he has been as well as playing a style of football that can barely be described as "archaic".
However, we are 4th, we are the 4th highest scorers in the division (if you think we are shit to watch, you should listen to the Wolves fans down here bleat on about their team), the team spirit is high (it doesn't really matter about whether we hate Pulis or not, the players clearly are buying into him) and we are about to spend some serious cash in a concerted effort to reach the Premier League. In short, it is the best time to be a Stoke City fan in decades.
I don't like his methods or his football, but we have serious ambition on reaching the best league in the world. Surely that fact alone should be enough to galvanise us as supporters?. Football is a results business, and it appears Pulis has found the formula. As i said (and will not change) i despise Pulis the individual, but if he gets us Promoted it will be the greatest single achievement of any Manager that this club has ever had, including Waddington's League Cup win in 1972. On that one fact alone we should all get behind him.
I'm still going to Belgium though

I have nothing to add to this in terms of content, i'd just like to applaud JoeinOz, who is absolutely fucking smack on the money.
Not only is he dirty, but at the highest level he is limited. Loved the fact that Eboue left his foot in, very British.
Serves him right.

It's Premier League syndrome.
Every time a team goes up, a certain percentage of arseholes attach themselves and then profess to be experts on the beautiful game because they have seen Chelsea live. I have a lot of Baggie mates who understand perfecty what we are all about, and not one of them is looking forward to Saturday.
If one of their fans is seriously suggesting that a player won;t play because we're a bit rough, that's utterly pathetic. We might not be pretty, but at least we've got a set.

I bet when they bought him they thought he was a footballer.

Soi,
He was going great guns until an incident when he was at Shrewsbury - he set a firework off in someone's face. You are right however, he was one hell of a prospect
Nobody except the uber-wank will touch him now.

It had sentimental value to him as well. It was the one Prince Philip bought him to run Diana off the road in Paris.
He's going to be fucking gutted.

I'm not sure that given the fragile state of the world in which we live, we should be encouraging anyone to pull up trees.
Perhaps a re-jig of our medical could see potential players plant some trees, or go on a survival weekend with Ray Mears, or something.
Whatever the outcome, Richard Hughes can frig off.

It's probably entirely altruistic as well. They won't use the money for drugs or anything.

I don't understand the Karma thing, so i'll leave it be.
Simmo yes Fuller yes, possibly Shawcross and Diao.
The undead one would have to pend about £30 million to give us any chance at all of staying up. We are not a good squad of players.

I like it here, but would welcome a move back to a fully functional Rivals(esque) board.
A lot of my "cyberbuddies" have fucked off because a big pair of swinging jugs is likely to get noticed by their respective managers, so they don't come on as often. Also, as fornie said, i miss the banter with other supporters.
