I am not able to go to any football over the next month or so, recovering from an operation and therefore my recovery is being aided by the players continuing to defy all the odds and show they are now more than capable of reaching the play offs at the least.
The transfer window is coming up fast and it actually seems as if we might get it right this time, of course we all know that should have been done before now but not going to dwell on that at this point anyhow it’s gone and now is the chance for all at the club to put it right.
The biggest change seems to have actually come in the more positive approach on and off the field, how refreshing it was to read comments like good attacking football, passing to feet with looking a damn good side. It brings a warm glow to the heart to read such comments about us for once, when usually it’s all about how big we are, how direct we are and how one dimensional we are.
I hope this is finally a change in direction and that Pulis is going to see the advantages of mixing the game up, allowing the players a little more freedom of expression. This will make us even more dangerous over the second half of the season, sides who expect only a rugged up and them approach will suddenly be on the back foot and with some quality signings over the next month or so, we really can take one of those top two spots. I never thought I would be saying that about the manager, delighted to be proved totally wrong if it happens about him.
I don’t take anything for granted but I am just enjoying being a Stoke supporter, looking at the league table, we are only half way through and we all know a lot can happen but this really is one hell of an opportunity to gate crash the megabucks party they call the Premiership.
So Tony, even if we suffer a couple of setbacks don’t retreat into your shell and become negative, keep being positive and this season really can become a golden one.

Ted, wishing you a speedy recovery from your illness - the lads will need all the support they can get for that 'final push'.
I also think the positive karma you're describing is obviously well engrained in the players and surprisingly has even spread to (most of) the fans! In addition, there does seem to be a massive wave of optimism emanating from the club, reflected by the new feel-good factor most supporters are talking about.
Pulis has actually been here before though - last season for a month or two we played some magic stuff, albeit built on quicksand, which gave rise to a similar sort of optimism, only to see it snatched away with the return of the loanees to their clubs.
From what the club have said (and certainly a good start has been made) they're not going to let the same thing happen again, but just one word of caution - this IS Stoke we're talking about!!

Well said Ted, and i wish you well in your rehabilitation.
I'm not a fan of Pulis the man, but his management this season has been (I am happy to concede) nothing short of excellent. I truly believe also that Peter Coates knows that this is our shot and is preparing to procure the players that we need in order to achieve the unthinkable.
