Has that come from the club if right that’s pretty decent. I expect gates to hold up ok next season maybe round the 22/23k mark the real cliff edge comes the season after if we are no where near a promotion push

Surely you can’t get a refund because we’ve gone down. That’s just one of the slings and arrows. I’m as pissed off as anyone we’ve gone down but renewed because even though I will be moaning my bag off I’d still go most games next season regardless of division so make sense to keep my seat

Enough mocking this poster you piss taking bastards He's obviously talking metaphysically, and questioning Einsteins Theory of special relativity, about the fluid nature of time and space Congratulations Oatcakers, he's out thought all of you Mate - Personally, my answer would be to turn up in Oscar Wilde's drawing room in Chelsea on 9th February 1890 at 4.56pm and see how it goes from there Then it’s back to the reform club by Autumn to collect our winnings

considering what he was given hes done ok a squad of overweight unfit don't careless players what were you expecting from him He joined with a goal of keeping us up, he has won once in 14 a win rate of 7% and falling. He has failed and you don't reward failure. I understand the point you make he could only work with what he was left, but that was the deal he knew that going in and compare him with Moore at WBA had Moore been in charge a month earlier then who knows the relegation places may have looked a whole lot different

Some of us are old enough to remember when we decided to experiment with bringing big-named, ex-players in, giving them their first job in management. Mick Mills, Alan Ball, Joe Jordan... It never worked as well as when we brought in managers who had shown some solid talent for management. Pulls came via Gillinham, Bristol City and Bournemouth, Alan Durban came via Shrewsbury, Lou Macari came via Swindon and West Ham. I would expect that Coates will have worked out by now, that you don’t give the main job to an apprentice manager. And you could argue that Neville is someone who failed his apprenticeship. Mills was a first time manager. Jordan had been at Bristol City before and Alan Ball at Portsmouth. Wasnt Mills signed/employed as player manager had about a handful of games before hung up boots

Remember our 98 relegation I was at uni in wales so watched the Man City debacle in a pub in Pontypridd on my own stoke scarf round my neck trying not to cry into my pint but we went on. The Icelandic take over a auto windshield win play off heart brake, and return to the championship. This is my third relegation since my first game in 89/90 and through all the heart ache moments of sheer joy it drives us mad it’s irational but players managers even owners come and go but we will always be stoke the club is ours. So heads up we go again

I think a European league isn’t far off. Look at the gaps between the top clubs and rest of those in domestic leagues Man City PSG and Munich won their leagues at a canter and it’s hard to see how next season will be different. Isn’t it the case that the champions league was born out of fear of a break away league. At the end of the day money will see the top sides breaking away

The one comfort is that if Southampton do stay up MH will keep the job. We can then watch him dismantle the core of their team open them up to 5 goal thrashings and saddle them with a pile of shit that passes for a squad before doing one as they crash and burn

All this is well and good but it come undone when the undiable fact of us not being able to buy a win is taken into account. 0 wins in 12 why are we going to start on Saturday?

Fucking embarrassing reading these.. Lambert came in to a right mess, too big of a job for anyone.. he came into a squad that was unfit, weren’t playing for eachother, no confidence, no work ethic and not playing for the fans. Since he’s been here we’re as fit as we’ve been since pulis, the players work hard for eachother and look genuinely frustrated/gutted at times with what’s going on.. the fans are as close to the players now in lamberts short time than they ever were under Hughes. He’s came into a group of players which aren’t his and he’s got them working hard, no manager would have kept us up. We were too deep in shit for anyone get us out, on and off the field. This is a far bigger job than just getting results and he’s 100% the best man for it. Anyone who doesn’t want play for him or the club have been made the leave, anyone not carrying their weight has been dropped. Now you can either get behind him and have a proper look what he’s doing on and off the pitch or sit and moan about it! There’s more too football than what goes on for 90 minutes every week, a lot lot more!! Not really mangers live and die by their results at the end of the day its a results driven business, win and you can be forgiven anything, lose and your a loser! Lambert win rate 8% and falling.

There will be a lot to do to rebuild in the summer and it doesnt help being a World Cup year and the fact that the new rule of Transfer deadline day will be the day before the season starts . So if there is to be a decision on the manager and others it needs to be done ASAP as there will be less time to get things sorted this year. A very good point. We need to spend the next couple of weeks sounding out replacements, agreeing the transfer budget and getting a plan together and show Lambert the door Monday morning after Swansea (no real point now) We can't afford to lose a month of the pre-season dithering.

Don't think he gives a fuck tbh. He knows whatever happens he is leaving at the end of the season so thinks why chuck myself around and risk injury which could foul up my transfer

we needed a leader on the pitch, someone who had the nouce to manage the game. Get feet on the ball hold up play draw free kicks time waste ect instead what we got was pure panic, rash tackles leading to free kick after free kick, balls lumped straight back down the park to let WHU start a new attack and of course the defending for the goal. Someone above has used the phrase that we have forgotten how to win, they are right

He's also conceded the most goals in the league wasn't grant in goal for a few games? pretty sure we lost those games so jack MAY not have conceded most goals in the prem but it was mentioned by another lazy journalist last night. Fair point and it was a bit of lazy post on my part so we've conceded 64 of which Butland has conceded 57 only two teams have conceded in total more than 57 Watford (60) West Ham (59)of those clubs Hart has been in the WHU goal for 18 League games and Gomez the Watford Goal for 20 League games vs Butland's 30 league games this season. It follows therefore that Butland has conceded the most goals of any keeper

I don't feel like he has saved us a lot this year and that's part of the problem. When you're a team near the bottom of the league, you need your keeper to win you 6-10 points a season through keeping you in leads etc. I can't think of one game where he's done that this season and instead, I can think of 4-5 games where he has been directly responsible for us losing points. If he wasn't English, he'd be talked about as a keeper on a par with the likes of Adrian and Gomes. I look forward to us getting 25m ish for him in the summer before he puts in more performances which will drag his value down. He’s made the most saves in the league. He's also conceded the most goals in the league

I’d rather keep a brain tumour. what a ridiculous comment to make ,I knew someone who died due to a brain tumour and think your comment it just not right, even though you're saying it in jest it's so wrong my brother did lived with us and battled till the end. He's my hero and you would never have met a bigger Stoke fan it breaks my heart that he got to see us in the prem

a win rate of 10% and falling, 4 goals in last 8 games, 3 straight defeats, creative players banished from the club, Glen fucking Johnson seen as a regular starter, 4 points from safety and not a win in sight, yes of course we must keep Lambert!
