I dont think we are any worse now than we have been all season so for that reason I expect us to get another 14-16 points

Head and shoulders above everybody on the pitch last night. We won't get him but we should push the boat out to sign him and build a team round him. That finish against Reading for the first goal was majestic, just stroked it into the corner. Presses well, wins the ball and his corners last night and free kicks were the most consistent seen this year.

The gaffer will be given at least one summer window, just get behind him Even if he took us down? Wouldn't make any sense. Hope it doesn't come to that but even if it doesn't he's done nothing to impress so far. How would it not make sense? He just brought Sunderland up and they are now sitting 6th. Won't come to that though.

Who could we get instead? Then if he doesn’t do well within 6 months do you have another name in mind? We could put all future managers on 6 month rolling contracts, that way when the fans want rid it won’t cost anything… Did you think that one up all by yourself? There will be a queue round the bloke 👍

Appalling line up Appalling subs Appalling tactics Appalling transfer window Defending a 1 nil defeat. 19th in the league and dropping. Absolutely wank, Neil. Awful today - got just about everything wrong Typical overreaction

Absolute shambles. More loans than Provident. Harry gone and replaced by a crock who won't even be fit for a few games- it's not like we luck out with injuries at the best of times but at least it's company for Powell in the treatment room. We need players who can hit the ground running as, make no mistake, we're in very real danger of a relegation fight. Absolutely sick and tired of this club. What you need and what you get in January are two very different things. We will be ok.

We lost that game in the first half We lost this game because of the players MON brought in. I'm pretty sure we lost it because they are a much better team!

There’s loads of thick fuckers on here that want give him more time , probably 10 years or so 🤷♂️ 10 years in Dartmoor! There's also loads of thick fuckers who want to keep sacking managers when it makes absolutely no difference. Never mind the fact that no other manager is going to touch us with a barge pole.

Totally undeserved, almost everything has fallen for Sheffield today, every referring decision, second half we were much the better side, just lacking that vital break. We are 27 games in and 21st in the table. I guess we've been unlucky and lacking that vital break for most of those 27 games. Cant score, its as simple as that. More shots, more posession, more passes and still lose 3-1

If a Spanish manager who had won loads of trophies has a manager a British one who had won fuck all, both applied to become Stoke manager, Coates would go for the Brit, that's what is wrong with this club. In what Universe would a Spanish manager that had won loads of Trophies ever apply to become manager of this club? seriously

Spot on,pathetic comments about him Not really. Today has shown why we are where we are. Gayle, Delap and Brown were all dogshit and missed far too many chances they should score. Bullshit the only thing we learnt today is that we made it through to the 4th round

I can understand why he is keeping Delap on because this is an ideal game to try to run into some kind of form and get some confidence but he doesn’t seem to know how to look up when he’s got the ball, which was the main reason I didn’t make it to pro level. Can’t believe he’s made it this far from what I’ve seen. Yes Man City are always signing rubbish players 🙄

Always thought it was about the M25, because I think the M25 was opened around the time the album was released🤔. No, he was heading home, for Christmas. Not a bad road if your in love with a Stainsbury girl. Surprised no one thought to do a comedy version with Sainsbury Girl

I dont believe there are any bad players in our squad, you just don't get to this level without talent and ability. What we have is a lot of players playing badly. For me that's down to confidence and belief based on the culture at the club. Changing a culture in any environment is one of the hardest things to do. Until someone manages that we will always be struggling. TP managed it but it took him several years to get it right, there are no quick fixes here.

Watching the players warm up they were pinging the ball about to feet no problem. The minute the whistle blew they were like Rabbits in the headlights. Until someone manages to change that culture of fear and losing we will never perform. Should be looking at Sports Psychologists not managers.

He didn’t do a lot wrong last night, mainly because he was barely involved other than the odd token chase down. Really poor signing overall. No idea what he is. You must have watched a different game than me or you have an agenda. I thought he was the best player on the pitch in the first half, he was everywhere closing them down.

The midfield we currently have isn’t enough for what’s required in any kind of competitive midfield. Some have good points, plenty have bad points but I can’t see a combination that works. Laurent - good engine, can tackle, big and strong, carries the ball well, best of what we have. Baker - great at set pieces, has a knack of scoring goals but probably against public opinion I’m struggling with him. As a captain I expect so much more, loves a simple 2 yard pass to a centre half but don’t see him influencing a game, controlling a game in any way. Smallbone - not good enough yet. Might be in time but not at the moment Clucas - had his chances. Not happening Thompson - got a good cross on him, can play on a few positions, not sure he’s good enough Powell - creatively the best we have. Plays every week if he’s fit but that’s a big if. That group of players isn’t good enough. We’re seriously lacking in there. Laurent is about it. We need a destroyer to break up play and we need someone who can dictate a game and change the tempo. Until the midfield is addressed it doesn’t matter who is up front, no service means no goals. It was good enough against Sheffield United 👍
