Saying that Derek Parkins performance at RB for us were by and large beyond awful. He did quite well in goal 😀 And to be fair, he was 56.

He certainly didn’t drive forward or look to pass it forward last night. My friend is a Hammers fan and swears by him Personally I still don’t get him- he’s nothing like a Busquets or Kante; if we play him we shouldn’t play Henderson or Phillips because the ball doesn’t move forward quickly enough. I would probably prefer him to Henderson or Phillips; although I think longer term Bellingham may well offer more. This is it. England play this negative over protective stance at home ffs. It’s Rice or Phillips or Henderson, not a fucking combo.

Heluva strike that was. I was behind the net and I've never seen a Stoke player hit a ball so hard - although Iwelumo once hit a volley that came close. Onto the A50.

Why the fuck would anyone want to "head down to Wembley" without a ticket? To skulk around looking for a pub that might be showing the match, then pay well over the odds for a few pints of watered down Carling? There will be hundreds of pubs locally where you can piss your money up the wall while watching the match without "heading down to Wembley". Gouranga. Because this is those smelly cunts World Cup Final.

After first half 0-0. A couple of very talented Australian players, according to the commentator. And they have two playing for Arsenal. Maybe they are the same? Twins? It gets even better!🤪

Well he came on in difficult circumstances (Arge pushing for a winner), had a few good touches and lay-offs, made two clearances from corners and had one good dribble going past a couple of players. Now he’s trending #1 in Chile and there are memes of him all over the place. Bet he never expected this a few months ago I watched it too. He did well. Diaz Brereton!

Did you know the tunnocks tea cake tour is perhaps one of hardest things in the UK to get tickets for. The waiting list may even be years was a while ago I was trying to get in . Maybe its like the Scottish version mecca. My first Mother in Law used to smuggle them across the Atlantic for me. How the fuck did she get the Scots in her suitcase? Unless it was the Krankie family, this sounds very unlikely to me.

Know its just part of negotiations but dislike this "undisclosed fee" stuff. Can't tell if we made much headway re FFP. (And I'm curious to see what we got) At least it's wages off the books The majority of transfers these days are undisclosed. Anyone know why? Yeah. They are fucking embarrassing.

Bit of a menacing air about the place. The Phoenix across the road was the source of all day sessions and off loading of hooky goods 'obtained' by Chavs from shops around Stoke. I was in the Phoenix one time when a chav literally dropped his trackies in the middle of the room to let all the 'goods' fall out before he offered them to all and sundry. On this particular day he had a Kenny Rogers CD, and a pack of ( formerly anyway), fresh meat. And no, it was not his pork sword. Big Sids disco at the Phoenix was a sight and got the punters squeezing through the door. I remember the barmaids always used to wear over powering perfume as well and bend over in a seductive manner even though they were the wrong side of 50. Great days 😀 The Phoenix and the Staff of Life, probably the smokiest pubs in Stoke on Trent.

Should have been a foul outside the box, he dived and swung his leg when he got into it. The foul continued inside the box. The law is that it’s a penno.

Delighted with the win but have to ask what we’re your opinions re the penalty? Taking off my England specs and viewing the situation as a total neutral, or an opposition fan , what would I have thought about it ? It seemed to me that he , Grealish, battled past his opponent but then cut across him and trailed his leg LOOKING FOR CONTACT and a PENALTY! If correct is this cheating or just a part of the game we now accept? Great if it goes for you, but bloody infuriating when it’s against. ⚓️ He was being fouled outside the box.The foul continued into the box. It’s a penalty.

They were great years. End of the millennium, end of 17 years of Tory rule . It was still just about affordable for young people. Great, optimistic time to live in London. I lived right in the middle of Camden Town. Did you ever go to The Steam Passage ? My passage was steaming after a heavy night during and post Champions League final at the weekend. 💨 💨 💨

Alpine pop was in massive bottles and went flat as fuck in about ten minutes. Panda Pops in small stubby bottles. Really sickly sweet and fizzy. Some of the drinks were really garish colours too. God knows what shit was in them. Hubbly Bubbly was a favourite in the heavy dimpled glass bottles. Fresca! The polar bear on the can. It’s frothy man. ( it was too and as sickly as fuck). That was Cresta. Awful stuff fresca was either lemon or grapefruit Realised after I wrote it and did a quick edit 👍🏻

Sadly Hanley has become a first class tip. Without major investment it is pretty much done. Really not true and very unfair on the businesses that are working their bollocks off to give Stoke something to shout about. Good to know. Thanks.
