Just scored for Australia 👍 That’s 5 goals in 2.5 games now for Australia. Do we need to see how they get this return from him or are they playing pygmy’s

Definite foul, holding down his marker. VAR would have chalked that off !!!

Ironically Taipei's scorer translates as tall.

.... not watching as I’m getting ready to go to work. I assume they are playing it in Europe or UAE as we wouldn’t want to upset China again

Speaking of Aussie football, who would win if Chinese Taipei played Ernie Tapai?!? 🤔

Six more goals and he will equal Mark Vidukas scoring record. How did Mark Viduka a) only score 11 times for his country and b) only play 43 times? Were Australia just not playing any football?

Viduka was patchy for Straya I often got tbe feeling his mind was elsewhere. In some really big games he hid.

I personally think that his lack of aerial threat is one of his biggest weaknesses. A man his size, your hope he’d get more than one in a season. Obviously, our set pieces last season were also mostly crap as well, but I’d like to see him attack the ball more aggressively when in positive positions. He does well defensively in the air.

To be fair an Ewok would be the tallest in the Chinese Taipei team. Would like to see Trent Sainsbury the Oz midfielder play in the same team as Neto from Wolves.

Needs to transfer his goalscoring international form to club form This goal would never have been approved in England - these days. In the past it would.

I personally don't like the current plan of having him and Batth cuddle as they run up for the header. I get that shielding is supposed to make it more difficult but I'd rather see them not in each others way to be honest. One on the front, one in the centre and it may be harder to defend against. And yes, I think we did okay overall, but considering we had Batth, Powell, Fletcher and Souttar, it would have been nice to see us get a few more.

According to Chinese Taipei's football squad data, most of their defenders are between 5'10" and 6'2"! Their regular centre back comes in at nearly 6'4"!!
