He’s not foreign enough, next. Depends which part of Ireland he's from. I used to work with a bloke from Tipperary, couldn't understand a word he said. I'm from Ireland and I don't understand Tipperary either(Shane Long being one). Moran is very promising and would have been good for us but with little or no hope of keeping him at the end of the season.

The defence being more solid let's the midfielders concentrate on going forward Great stuff.

Develop which players exactly? Its fucked up Baker's Stoke career for a start, and it basically meant the end of Powell's Stoke career too. Two players who were doing well for this club until we introduced Smallbone. I don't think you can blame Smallbone for the fact that two other players decided not to give a shit.

I love the fact that I as a fat fucker join in chants against similar or in many cases slightly lighter people than myself.

Whatever happened has not been fixed since. Ground was hopping first half, optimism everywhere and someone stuck a pin in the baloon.

A portly friend of mine who supports Liverpool was at a match many years ago wearing a jersey with Fowler on the back. The whole Kop started singing"Fowler he is a fat bastard2 to him as he walked down the steps. He never ever wore the jersey again.

The Nzonzi Whelan combination was excellent, the 6 1 match is often quoted but I thought the 3 0 v Spurs a few weeks earlier was even better. Thank you for your service Mr Whelan.

I've been coming over to Stoke for years from Dublin and the more I come the more confused I get by the bus system. It would be very handy if you could get a train right to the ground but it isn't going to happen. The busses from Glebe Street are well run going to the games but I have ended up in Newcastle more than once coming back.

Every club makes mistakes but I don't believe that the Coates family have ever done anything that they did not think was in the clubs beasts interests.

I was at the match last night and the whole place were raving about him. Would love to keep him but Southampton aren't blind.

Just an aside, given the improvment in young Will do we have the option to buy on his loan?

I am from Dublin and have supported Stoke for nearly 50 years (blame TC). I normally get to 8 to 10 matches a season but this is the first season where I just haven't got the desire to go to a match(my 2 lads and Mrs also come) Its hard to know where our main problems are but for me there is no one on the pitch who seems to bothered when we don't win, this lack of desire is resulting in the fans turning on the players when things go wrong (we were always cranky in fairness but now we have a good reason). I was fairly optimistic at the start of the season that we had a squad that would be competitive but now I would settle for staying up.Am i being too negative? I have supported Stoke for 60 years and like you no longer attend (health reasons) and i feel the missing link for us a local lad to drive the team on (Nick Powell is not a captain) to lead by example. p.s. what part of Dublin ?step mum was from Ashtown by Phoenix park. Not as upmarket as Ashtown. I am from a place called Drimnagh.

The supporters that attended last night are kicking off about the stadium having no water on sale. Many of them resorted to drinking that tap water. Absolutely disgusting in this day and age that people get treated like that. Some shitting this morning I would imagine.
