Any idea when pre season announced hoping weekend in Belfast if play there At the recent supporters Council meeting ..announcement was said to be imminent ..so should hear back end of June 12 hours before the first game 🙂 No home preseason games this year due to work on the ground .. as improvement works due over the next 4-5 summers , this season likely to be the one that restricts access to the ground the most including suite updates , and of course the matter of installing new seats in the West Stand and the toilets being refurbished in the South and East stands .. so although I prefer aways , hopefully for those that don’t it’ll only be this year or perhaps alternate years of no home friendlies

Hopefully we'll have a good few localish away games booked. I enjoy taking my lad to new grounds without the risk of him getting piss wet with beer at half time.

Would love a friendly with Copenhagen. Great City but a bit pricey. Only a short flight away. Great people the Danes. I have worked in Denmark a few times, they love footy a good drink and a good laugh.

www.echolive.ie/corksport/arid-40869914.htmlCORK CITY are in negotiations with Stoke City to face the Championship side in a friendly this July. As part of their pre-season preparations Stoke plan to have a training camp in Cork the first week of July and hope to arrange a friendly against Colin Healy’s side. Although a finalised date has yet to be agreed, it is believed that the weekend of 8-10 July – a weekend when City are without a league fixture is the preferred date.

Apart from the embarrassing number of England fans it was a superb weekend. Met Thomas Gravesen in a local night club after the game.

According to Cork City FC they are playing Stoke in the first week in July as Stoke are in Cork for the week. A decent spot if anyone is looking for a short trip.

not like you to be negative Well he’s right .it is original ..91was the last time ..and even then that was for a mid season game ..you have to go way back for a pre season game ..perhaps it’s also important to reinforce links with clubs we’d genuinely look to recruit from or loan development players to Cos let’s be honest , St Pauli was for their commercial Benifit as was Orlando ..perhaps it’s times we started building true partnerships would I have liked what seems to be the in vogue trip Australia ..yes ..though probably not this year with care responsibilities, but certainly in the future .. but I’ll ( hopefully ) if I can manage it accept a couple of days in Cork
