It's true,it was on Radio Stoke. Stated he had come out of the home end. And that the stewarding was basically shit as it took ages before anybody actually reacted to drag him off the pitch.

The Brit will mysteriously burn down one night. The club directors will then build a new stadium on the big green in Bucknall, thus meaning I can walk to home matches.

I feel a coalition coming on again. Swinson would sell her soul for a ministerial limousine...... There was a quote from her I saw earlier that said she is ready to be PM!

Not really, if you read through this forum you'll find that not everyone has got carried away with thinking that Gregory is the Messiah. I think he's been hailed because of the shiteness of those who surround him and applauded predominantly for his effort which we are finding will only get him, and us, so far. We have the makings of a decent midfield but none of them score goals, so they depend on someone else to do that, or even get into positions to do that. No-one is showing that capability. He's been good this season, his finishing isn't great but he's been good. It's more than effort, his hold up play is exceptional. Our midfield of Badou Clucas and Etebo is the best is the league. I agree they need more goals. Clucas shows the capability to get into those positions I'd say. Something like: Badou Clucas Etebo Powell(Duffy/Allen depending on game) Gregory Hogan Has shown promise in getting goals. Our midfield is the best in the league?? Your old man spouts bollocks but not as much as you!!

He's just a better engine than what we had yesterday. He's an appalling footballer. There is no end product with him. The mazy dribbles are exciting and get everyone going but they end with nothing. No shots on target, no assists and very few chances if any created. Badou is the big miss when he's not playing. The rest can take a long walk for me. Badou played yesterday. He was as bad as the rest.

Course you did. That nil nil away at Bolton really got the juices flowing. But the 2-2 away at Villa did?

I never thought it was that good a squad to start with. But bottom of the league. There is enough quality in there to be doing better surely? Of course-unfortunately we are bottom of the league and this squad isn't doing much about moving us away from there.

Yes. They are just not very good. But that squad should not be bottom of the league should it? There is something toxic in the club, every player and every manager that comes in immediately becomes a worse version of themselves. I want to know why and I think we have got to the point where we need a new CEO with a fresh pair of eyes who can do a full overhaul of the club philosophy. I never thought it was that good a squad to start with.

But that isn't the way it runs! If it had been at the front it would probably have been going backwards near the finish. They aren't machines and it's record speaks for itself. That's fair enough, Coop, but why does Jamie Spencer ride virtually EVERY horse like that? Looks great when he wins, but surely some horses he rides need to be more handy? I avoid him like the plague! 😁 Spencer does my head in as well. As does Ryan Moore!

Irrespective of whether it's at the front, the race was over two miles, and considering it was the favourite, he gave it far too much to do. I know they're not machines, but that was ridiculous! Like is said,it was flying at the end, plus I don't study the form from the past that much! It will be interesting to see how it runs next time out though. Tom Marquand, who rode it is an up and coming jockey, who I have a lot of time for, but he gave it too much to do. Another thing I don't like is front runners. All in all, I'm just frigging unlucky! Should give up in all reality! It's my one and only vice nowadays. Other than Stoke I have no other interests, only moaning. I take after my dad for that. He could moan for England! It was only favourite because of the money that came in for it. It was anywhere between 10-12/1 in the morning and Yamato was favourite. The Racing Post analysis of the race said he was only as close as he was because the apprentice on Yamato slowed him so much. Looking at the form Yamato would have been my pick.

Fair play, but if you'd have seen it, it would have won easily if he had got it up with the front runners. It was actually flying at the finish. Had a small amount on Taylor's tip today, and a small amount on Pricewise's tips. Hoping for better luck! P.S. Do you have much luck with them, Henry? But that isn't the way it runs! If it had been at the front it would probably have been going backwards near the finish. They aren't machines and it's record speaks for itself.

It's painful to think about the pig's ear we've made of this since relegation (it was bad enough before). When we were relegated, we came down with a number of high-earning players who it's proved impossible or at least difficult to shift. Mauritz Bauer, Kevin Wimmer, Bruno Martins-Indi, Erik Pieters, Badou N'Diaye, Gianelli Imbula, mame Diouf, Saido Berahino (there may be more i've forgotten). None of these guys were wanted, yet all would have been on decent money and most of them still are. Thinking about what we've done with them is absolutely painful. Mauritz Bauer- not the best full-back in the world, but would have been an Ok back-up to Edwards this year while we sorted out other, more-pressing positions. Alright, we've managed to get his wages (or some of them) off the books for a while, but we now have Tommy smith on board as well, who looks no better than either Edwards or Bauer and cost us £4 million. Erik Pieters- This is the worst decision I've ever seen. Pieters was an OK defensive left-back, competent and steady, and someone who would have been absolutely fine as first-choice LB for a few years at this level. Now starting in the Prem for Burnley every week, for the sake of us pocketing £1 million for him. As a replacement, we have an OAP who Burnley let go. WTF? Kevin Wimmer- Signed for a preposterous fee, and not good enough for the Premier League, but I'd be amazed if Wimmer wouldn't have been a better option than Baath, Lindsay or CCV. Never mind, we're effectively paying all four of them now. Bruno Martins-Indi - Another we've been trying to get rid of, yet as soon as he's come back into the team, he's proven that he's actually our best defender. Badou N'Diaye- I don't blame the club as much for this one, seeing as he was the one chucking his toys out of the pram, but now he's back he's showing his class. Gianelli Imbula- If N'Diaye's back in he fold, why couldn't we have done more with Imbula? We've been paying most of his wages (you'd imagine) for the last two years. I know his attitude stinks, but he'd have absolutely smashed it at this level. Instead we're now paying Ryan woods and Jordan Cousins, as well as Imbula, to do whatever the opposite of smashing it is. Mame diouf- a bit of a carthorse I know, but was it good business to spend £12m and £9m on two strikers in Afobe and Vokes who probably aren't even as good as him now, even at the age of 31? Saido Berahino- he's the one exception to the point I'm about to make as he's quite clearly got a screw loose. Basically, in most cases these players weren't good enough for the Premier League, but BMI and N'Diaye (and Pieters arguably) have shown that the Championship's a different kettle of fish. They're all on decent money, but with the strategy we've taken, not only are we having to pay THEM, we're now having to pay the completely new team we've signed to replace them, who might all be decent lads and conscientious pros and all the rest of it, but the problem is that they're fucking shit at football. If we were going to take the view that we wanted the Wimmers of this world out of this squad, then surely it would have been better not to go signing replacements until we'd found buyers? If we couldn't find someone to take them then we should have played them...not signed a load more, even shitter players on top. Our squad now resembles an overflowing portaloo that one bloke started crapping in to and it's now been shat into by three or four others. Even Dynarod can't deal with the fucking mess that's been left. Whoever comes in as the next manager, if I was Coatesy, i'd ban all incoming transfers until we've got rid of 90% of this shit we've accumulated. Get the Under 23s in if we have to, but we can't keep adding and adding and adding, it's getting ridiculous. Well said Neil.
