Trying to think of I’ve ever been more naffed off/ disillusioned/ bored / uninterested in SCFC than I am now.
My first game was in 1990 as a young teenager.
Sad state of affairs. Surely we’ll have something to cheer about soon?😳

We’ve become a meme of a football club.

Yes and I've watched some shite.
I'm not as disillusioned now, because at least we do have true backing now (forget FFP for a minute) Back in the day we were this bad and didn't have a pot to piss in to try and put right.
Constant bad appointments and decisions worry me though.

Its not being disillusioned - its pure anger
Just How the fuck do you go from a world renowned club football team with real world class players gracing our turf and, 29th richest football club on the planet
TO THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in less than 36 months
and without recriminations to those largely responsible ?
its beyond me

I just can't believe the owners, the board, those that run the club, however you want to frame it, are putting everyone through this charade again on Monday, when we'll most likely be two wins from safety mark.
We most likely lose because we're shit and the manager is shit and he's a dead man walking.
We spunk a point? Well we're still shit and the manger is still shit and he's still a dead man walking.
We play like we did against Fulham, its a false dawn, we're still shit, the manager is still shit and he's still a dead man walking.
They are already clinging to a miracle to stay up in bastard October and when push comes to shove, it's utter cowardice on their part to avoid action and knowingly avoid the concerns of fans.
In these past few weeks they have started to sully all they have done for the club and the City over these past 12 years, Utterly indefensible and a total fucking disgrace. Shame on them.

I was was less interested at the Wycombe home game in the third tier when we couldn't get promoted under Brian Little and for the rest of the season with the exception of the Walsall game when he played the young lads.
I don't think we have underperformed as heavily as this in my time as a Stoke supporter since the early 90s.

The Brian Little season was worse.
However I have a bad feeling that our current plunge will take us to a level worse than Brian Little managed.

Before we were shit with no real money to get out of it.
Now we are spectacularly imploding despite having the money and infrastructure not to.
So no this is it.

The Brian Little season was worse. However I have a bad feeling that our current plunge will take us to a level worse than Brian Little managed. I remember all of the bad old days. The thing was though, that we didn't really have any high expectations. We just took the hand that we had been dealt, and lived with it.
This time, we have plummeted from the glory and glamour of the Premier League, having been very well financed. It didn't take any footballing expertise to see the problems that were looming on the horizon. Harry Scragg, and his mate Tummy Noggins saw it all coming. They predicted the arrival. They saw it arrive. They now see the desolation of what a few years ago, was a top club.
Yes, for me this is the worst that I have experienced, and I have never been more disillusioned.

We are heading to the third tier and no-one is doing anything about it.
I thought the slow motion train wreck might end after the first relegation.
I now cannot see us getting out of League One.

I'm certainly disillusioned but I'm also feeling extremely sad, angry, and upset that the fans have, mostly, all been able to see the disasters of the past few seasons unfolding before us, and yet the Board have just naively sat there and seemingly just let it happen. Coates's often quoted "what's all the fuss about" will become the epitaph for this sorry chapter in our history.
I've supported the club since the early 60's and have seen some real lows (and some highs as well) but as has been said by others, during those periods we never had any expectations, nor the wealth from having been an established top 10 Premier League team so soon beforehand.
This implosion is staggering by it's speed and severity, and it could all have been so easily avoided by the Board. To go from the players we had at our peak a few short years ago, and the wonderful performances and results that they produced, to the woeful journeymen, the "couldn't give a damn" dross that we have now is just bewildering and unbelievable.
The decisions, and also the lack of decisions, made by the Board have sent us careening on this ever increasing downward spiral where we are now extremely worried if it will just stop when we drop into League One. Our current situation seems unlikely to keep us in the Championship, and yet the Board members still sit on their hands and watch another relegation unfold before them, and do nothing to arrest the decline.
Their statement which said "lessons have been learned" has been shown to be an empty, meaningless gesture to placate the fans as they are following the same methodology once again, with the same result looking an ever more likely outcome. The desperately needed root and branch clear out was in fact nothing more than a little bit of light pruning, with little or no real change or improvement being made.
The often quoted, and often viewed "meet the Board evening" video with John Coates and Teflon shows alarmingly what incompetent idiots we currently have running our club, and the prospect of things turning round and improving anytime soon seem non-existent as long as these clowns remain in charge.
For John Coates to openly quote (and obviously be proud of it) the "recruitment process" for our current car crash of a manager shows the naivety, inexperience, and incompetence that has gone completely unchecked, and is sending us hurtling towards yet another relegation.
The club desperately needs another experienced, no-nonsense manager who can stop this happening (there is absolutely no time to lose) and turn our beloved club back onto an upward trajectory to give us all hope and something to cheer about once again, and yet there is no word from the Board - nothing, nada, zilch.
The Board will let this continue (they're showing this by their constant inactions) so it is once again going to be down to the fans to start voicing our disapproval and demanding change and improvement.
To do nothing is being as complicit as the Board in the club's demise.

Dither and delay sums our current board up.

At the moment it appears the Board support him based on 2 wins out of 4.
Each match now becomes vital for him, if he loses the next 2 I don't think he will survive, if he gets 3 or more points I think he stays.
Not sure with a policy like that the Board could say anything that would help.

Butland, shawcross, etebo, badou and Federici aside they are a disgrace to their profession and their shirt...and I'm not particularly referring to how shit they are at football.
