Think he should have kept his Job, agree with Gods, he lost Suarez, and to be honest...the players have not performed...i think he is a very good manager

Can't believe how well we have done this season, and remember we have had a fair share of injuries
look at the table, look how much Liverpool spent pre season, they finished just 8 points in front, Spurs just 10 points, and the massive spend my Man U , just 16 points more
I don't know how we do it

wow, just 4 replies, yet other disasters get so much more interest and are much more talked about. Hillsborough disaster, RIP of course, complete respect and sadness for those who died, but the Bradford fire gets little mention which took I think 56 lives. RIP

Totally agree with the original poster, although I have not listened tonight. They ARE biased GRRRRRRR. A couple of weeks ago they were spunking over this Crewe Vale relegation fight, and if im not mistaken, you know how they have the commentary of the goals at the end of the show...they played Vale...they played Crewe...they did not even play Stoke who should have been first.Stoke are in the higher division. We had to suffer a few years of Vale supremacy with Radio Stoke and The Sentinel when they were higher than us, fair enough I reluctantly agree. Radio Stoke are really getting on my nerves these days..and its not just about 'poor old Stoke'. ITS NOT RIGHT

fair enough, but whatever happens, u cant predict what will happen with ur kids. If my Son followed Vale, i wouldn't like it, but would respect them for their choice, although I would be pestering them to support Stoke

I was sitting in block 24 at the back of the Boothen end, and at about 70 minutes there was a hugh buzz around the corner section, Hull were 1-0 behind to Ipswich (I think) and that 'buzz' never went away continuing to the first season in the Prem. Staying up that first season was amazing and will remember it till the day I die.

Been a lees than average season for Bego, but still made many many great saves. We must try and keep him in my opinion

Stoke fans singing 'wheres your mamma gone' to Lampard in the Boothen End was the worst I've heard, disgusting that was

He used to sit close to where my previous seat was, at the back of block 24, so I haven't seen him for about 3 years

LL..... I remember when it used to be all....I know what you mean, it was ace, but maybe the footy stuff needed to be separated?
Ive been a member on here since 2004, and the Oatcake in its early days (on-line) was superb.
but having said that, its a great fourm, it is

britsabroard, I agree
Like somebody else said, other clubs have a few forums, and you don't always know which is the main one. Everything is here, we have odd minor forums, which I won't dismiss but this really is 'the place' for findind out the latest stuff about SCFC.
Also some people have said its not as god a it used to be. My opinion is its never been better, and a lot of the in-fighting has gone

I think so
But I might be wrong. Obviously I'm, going to be biased, but I struggle to see better. I often go on forums , especially following a game
Also, when we get visiting supporters here, we disagree, but we don't tend to give them total condemnation , we have banter, proper banter and we often quite
complimentary to the opposition with a subjective view. Many fanzines just seem much more aggressive and dismissive
All I would say is , well done fellow oatcakers

I went West Brom yesterday, and their stadium is quite nice , but maxed out, apart from knocking that side down where the players walk out, and re-building
Our stadium could be quite good, and I think we could develop our fanbase
I can't understand why we can't develop the stadium a little bit, surely there must be a business case for it, even if it takes a few years.
This is not a dig at Peter Coates, he has surely overseen the price freeze on season tickets , and the free travel for fans on away travel is amazing, absolutely amazing
Please Peter, can we have a bigger stadium?

hi Fellow Stokies
My Dad passed away today
My Dad took me to my first game in 1969 v Man City. I was a Burnley fan, my nan knitted me a claret and blue Woolley hat, and then my Dad took me to my first game....and it was in colour, the only time I had seen football was on a black and white telly
As it transpired, I was mesmerised by the full colour, the green pitch the sky blue sky and the sky blue Man City abd of course the Red and white of Stoke. I was in the Boothen end seeing the splender of the old Stoke end in its fullest, scarves etc
I was then hooked.......my Dad took me to the semis of 71-72 and the league cup final
In the mid-seventies, my Dad would finish his shift on Saturday midday or later and on the spur of the moment would say , hey Dave, we are going to .....
I went my first full season in 1971-72 season, never missing a match, and it went on until around 1978 when things changed...etc meeting a partner, and then struggling for money
But it became re-juvinated in the early 80's when we had chamberlain and Thomas, we would go for 4 pints in the staff of life I would go to the Boothem end and my dad would call at the mobile chip van and bring me chips to the boothen end
Notts County......when we went up....we left....we never saw the goal, but we were so so pleased we went up
my Dad went the FA Cup Final with me...and he was 81 and so well in health
Sadly 2 years ago he became ill
I'm sorry to share this with u, but my Dad was a true and true Stokie
God Bless Dad
One o

I like this The psychological effect on Bojan will also need careful management and I have confidence that the club will give him all the support that they can both here and back in Spain. He's 2 days nearer to his return since the injury as we speak , he is nearly 3 days since his injury Stoke will be ok, maybe a slight struggle, but look forward to seeing the little fellow in October, and I can't wait, what a star he his. take care Mr Hudson....sorry Bojan
