It might, but if we get 2/3 games called off and others don't, then we also have to fit those 2/3 games back in somewhere. Is this due to players testing positive? Not seen anything come out of Stoke regarding players having Covid. |

Puts the team at a disadvantage as well as with them self isolating they won’t be able to do any team training, albeit they’d be able to do individual training.

There is no transparency will these Covid tests,is it not strange clubs including ourselves can say they have 6 cases but don’t name them.Maybe it’s just a ploy to get injured players back.All games need to be cancelled then no one is gaining a advantage.Clubs should name the players with Covit and if they are not vaccinated stop there wages.

I would imagine it also throws doubt onto the Boxing Day fixture for definite, and maybe even the Derby game on the 30th. Potentially left playing catch up and down towards mid-table.

They can’t disclose names because of patient confidentiality unless the player gives permission. I agree a player should be sanctioned if not vaccinated, assuming it’s company policy. |

I'd imagine they do have to give proof in order for the game to be postponed. That doesn't mean the club are going to (or should have to) name them all to us though. Just because you don't know their names (which you have no right to), it doesn't mean the club haven't been transparent with the officiating bodies of the sport. |

Slight problem with this approach - vaccination is largely ineffective aginst the Omicron variant. Boosters boost this to about 70% effective, but that doesn't mean you won't get it. |
