Just postpone them all it's not fair on other teams. It plays into our hands as we'll have a few players back in the new year. If we stay clear of new injuries and suspensions...

Possibly wildly over optimistic here but the rate Omicron is spreading looks to me it will have gone through almost everyone who is going to get it with the next two to three weeks. So hopefully this disruption won’t go on for too long.
But probably best for English football to call a two week pause right now - number of cancellations is getting farcical.

www.efl.com/news/2021/december/efl-statement-covid-19-updateIn the wake of recent EFL fixture postponements due to COVID-19 cases at Clubs, the EFL has also provided guidance on non-fulfilment of fixtures, confirming that Clubs will be expected to play where it has 14 players including a goalkeeper available from the Club’s registered squad list, Under 21 players not on the squad list but have played one League match, or any other contracted player not on the squad list but otherwise would have been eligible to play. The EFL will assist Clubs in their deliberations. This guidance has been designed to help Clubs ensure the safety of players and staff, while ensuring that the fixture schedule can be maintained wherever possible. Where any Club states it cannot fulfil a fixture, a report shall be filed with the EFL, and the circumstances reviewed.

What is the vaccination take up of the Stoke and Championship players?
If it's 50/50 there's no fucking suprise is there. I think Prem platers now over 60% but that's taken ages to get to.

I think Prem platers now over 60% but that's taken ages to get to. www.efl.com/news/2021/december/efl-statement-covid-19-updateThe latest vaccine data collated for November has shown that 75% of players across the EFL are either fully vaccinated, have had a single jab or intend to be vaccinated. Double vaccinated players total 59%, 16% are set to get the jab, while 25% of players currently do not intend to get a vaccine.

How exactly is it going to “break the chain on covid”? The main point is it would be fairer if all games were postponed Less travel / interaction may help reduce the transmission

As fans we now have to prove we've had both "jabs"before we can attend a match...isnt it only fair that the club tell us which players are positive and whether they have had the vaccine????🤔🤔

There is no transparency will these Covid tests,is it not strange clubs including ourselves can say they have 6 cases but don’t name them.Maybe it’s just a ploy to get injured players back. All games need to be cancelled then no one is gaining a advantage.Clubs should name the players with Covit and if they are not vaccinated stop there wages. They can’t disclose names because of patient confidentiality unless the player gives permission. I agree a player should be sanctioned if not vaccinated, assuming it’s company policy. Why should they be sanctioned? Being vaccinated doesn't reduce their chances of catching it or spreading it.

So if say 6 currently have COVID we would be at exactly 14. What if someone else then becomes 'injured' in training?

EFL say if you have 14 fit players you have to play. Trouble is some clubs will lie so as to cover up because they have injuries us included.

If it is off us fans who are going need an official statement ASAP This. Has anything come out of the club yet? Or are we just working off what journalists are saying on Twitter? I'll be absolutely gutted if the game is postponed, but it sounds like the issues are at our end(?).

Talksport bloke now saying it will be off - so it must be a big outbreak if we're at less than 14 players available
