I had a record shop many years ago and sold their first 12" single on some CBS Irish label I cannot remember the name now but it went for a fait few quid (couple of hundred).Cannot stand Bono now so I dont listen to anything by him or them. This is the one. www.discogs.com/release/1460039-U2-Three

Kiss of death I know, but when did we last win 3 league games in a row? October 2016 apparently. That's shocking.

Stop or help to prevent the causes of mass migration and the problem will be solved. It will never be solved through force. Sounds good. What are your proposals? Perhaps countries could get around a table and sort out their differences with a game of Uno? My proposals? You have economical migrants, war migrants, climate migrants, political migrants and many sub-categories. These are generally accepted as root causes for mass migration. Work on these and it will help.

I agree with most of what you say apart from "The armed forces never start a war, only politicians." My opinion is that without the armed forces, politicians wouldn't start any wars. I didn't say it fella 🤔 You're on a roll today though ... Bored ,Im off the pub.

The best one I can remember. Truly inspirational and humbling to listen to what has happened to people and their achievements. Also great to see all the young people. Prince William did his duty. My only wish is that those politicians who start wars would stand and watch all those who have served for their country march past. It might give them greater resolve to prevent a war. The armed forces never start a war, only politicians. Well said. I agree with most of what you say apart from "The armed forces never start a war, only politicians." Its just a pity that the human race learned nothing. Apart from bigger bombs were needed. WW1 was a tragic war.

The Sentinel Cup Final in May. Cmon now Dave stop it Didn't you know we're supposed to run the club down at every opportunity Ill give you that one, they do put teams into that comp themselves though. Im not here to argue or prove anyone right or wrong. What I will say is that if you talk to people who work in football you would understand. I have first hand knowledge of dealings with Scholes and he has not done the club any favours within the local football community.

I am specifically talking about local amateur football. For a quick example when was the last time Stoke let an amateur cup final to be played on their ground?

If Vale do good community work well done to them. But why say Stoke do none of that? I Bet Stoke do loads of good things . Stoke do a lot in the community - City 7s, £5 tickets for junior teams, football coaching for kids... I'm no Vale-lover, but it's good that they've upped their game on that side of things. Just because they're doing some good stuff now doesn't mean we're not. They do nothing for amateur football in the city Scholes was practically inapproachable and never wanted to help out. Maybe this will change.

Vale were brilliant the other night, they supported the local awards for amateur football teams across Staffordshire. The gave free tickets for the Liverpool game ,free meal, presentation of awards on the pitch, executive seats etc etc. Stoke do none of this, I was actually impressed.

What the fuck is going on? The leader of that country seems hell bent on kicking up a rucus. I hope Putin gets him to reign his neck in before some (even more) serious trouble starts. I think you will find that Belarus is Putin.

Are they having the "punch-up" market in Hanley this year? Not sure but you would do well to get out of Manchester or Liverpool's market without your wallet going walkabouts. It is literally xmas come early for them

Did you see the JCB announcement, Coke, re hydrogen technology? An excellent development. Thanks for that heads up. Brilliant news: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-59107805All they have to do now is stop selling diggers and bulldozers to the Israeli's for the sole purpose of demolishing Palestinian houses and farmlands and they may yet turn out to be a decent company but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Little off topic but has anyone tried any of the Kurdish/Afghan restaurants? I love them and fantastic value for money. SORRY ….. yes I meant names + locations of Kurdish/Afghan restaurants!! Afghan Palace is in Cobridge/Burlsem and example of their food takeaway/eat in price, you can buy 3 lamb chops (starters) Mixed Biriyani with naan, dhall soup and salad all for £10 .Bargain and the chops are banging. Kings (Kurdish) same area example to eat in Lamb Quozi (basically braised lamb, big portion served on the bone (the meat falls off) with Arabic rice, naan, salad and a choice of two sides ,Last time I chose Chick peas and an Apricot dish which was excellent with the Lamb and rice ,two teas all for £7 . Afghan serves more curry type dishes and Kings more grilled meats and fresh sea Bass for example. I highly recommend these two restaurants, absolute bargain for delicious food. There are others to.
