Without Shawcross we struggle, Shaq doesn't do enough for me but how do we attract quality if we don't guarantee them a starting spot and Walters over the years has proved to be a more effective player when rested after a few games. Joselu should have done better with a free header with the only meaningful attempt at goal. Affaley and Wollffy are the standouts for me at the moment.

We don't need 4 defenders now. Pieters is having a shocker so let's bring on Van Hinkel and dominate the midfield. Affairs is often playing deeper than Whelan

Don't want to see him go but as they said in the movie Goal... The name on the front of the shirt is more important than the one on the back. I think he will regret it if he goes but it's his call.

What have we got to lose? Many times have I seen us sit back and defend a 1-0 lead without success. Now we have to attack and go for it. Whilst it's dissapointing it's certainly not over yet . 2-1 Stoke

Just finished reading TC's book. He couldn't have been more complimentary about TP on and off the field. He seems like a top bloke who cares about many parts of running a football club and TC is very clear that without PC and TP we wouldn't be where we are. Emotions are obviously high at the moment but let's not judge him on 2 games this season. Shit happens. Affaley & Cameron lifted their hands when they shouldn't have. Neither were sendings off and in both cases the opposing player got them sent off. The ref has little time to think and made the wrong call. Yacob and Gardener know they did the wrong thing but what action can now be taken against them?

5 goals conceded in two games is disappointing following our earlier performances. We looked sluggish today and we should have rested players however if we'd won 4-0 Hughes would have been a hero. Before the last 3 games we would have taken 6 points. Dont let the Baggies fans wind you up. They obviously don't have much to look forward to and can't even fill their little 'stadium' for home games

It's funny I am half way through TC's book and some of the things he had written led me to re look at the YouTube videos of a Stoke in the 70's. What a great time that was. Jimmy Greenhoff is still the best player I have ever watched. Watching Stoke now reminds me of those heady days and i hope we can hold on to the players and the magic they bring.

Who would have thought a few years ago we would have Shaqiri, Arnautovic & Joselu on the score sheet ? Watching the game at 2-1 up I had a horrible feeling we were going to lose and at 3-2 down I thought that was it. Tremendous fighting spirit from the boys to come back and fair play to Everton who played hard and fair and were unlucky to lose especially against a very dubious penalty . Looking forward to playing against TP and the baggies this weekend

Looks like Rooney got the nod at the end of the first half . Neither side has created to much to be fair and we took our chances well. Could have been 3 as against City. I'm looking for some magic from Shaq in this half as he cuts in to curl one into the corner

Last 3 games with pretty much the same side . W,D,L . 4 points out of 9. Not a bad return in a very competitive league and with more luck it could have been 9/9. Wolly has been brilliant of late but misjudged the ball in the wind today which led to Whelan's rash tackle. Shaq's distribution was poor and how we needed something special from him today. No game is going to be easy as Stoke, Man U , Everton and the Albion all found out today losing home games that you would have thought they would win.11th in the league, 2 games away from Wembley. All will be good next Saturday and 3 points here we come.

If we had gone one up its hard to say we would have finished strongly as sometimes we just hang on. The main talking point is how strong our defence is. We have the best defence in the EPL bar Arsenal. Another game without conceding a goal for Ryan. I hope Roy was watching as it was a game in London but highly unlikely.

I had a beer with David , Chris Short and my old team mate from Staffs County Phil Robinson in Stafford after a 1-1 game against Bristol City at the Britt. 3 x top blokes and great company. If my memory serves me correctly it was Megsons last game in charge.

We looked very sharp but missed that little peice of cut through . Very harsh sending off and Dean bottled in. Standard red card in games v Sunderland. Huth, Brown Etc. if we were as good as people say we are we would be top 6. A finisher is all we need. Somebody like a Vardy would be very nice please Santa.

I can imagine a few trying to get under Arnies skin. Catermole to get an early bath 'with a straight red. The ref then evens it up and it finishes as a 2-2 draw with both teams down to ten men . At least one penalty in the game

Mick Channons windmill celebration springs to mind and Timmy Cahills celebratory punching the corner flag . Both memorable and I remember doing the Channon when I scored as a kid. Wouldn't do it now as id be guaranteed to put a shoulder out .

We won and created plenty. I don't think we have won by more than one yet but it's coming. I can see a Villa 4-1 away win coming soon. Maybe against the Mackems this week.

I'm sure Sparky would have seen Evertons win st St Mary's earlier this year. If we can counter like that we can win and I'm backing 2-1 win to Stoke with Shaq to get on the score sheet
